Washington — The historic federal indictment filed against former President Donald Trump was made public Friday, detailing the charges the former president is facing related to his handling of sensitive government records after leaving the White House. The 44-page indictment filed in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida alleges that Trump "endeavored to obstruct the FBI and grand jury investigations and conceal retention of classified documents." The indictment names Walt Nauta, an aide to Trump who served as a White House valet, as a co-conspirator. Meanwhile Hillary Clinton still swills Chardonnay, Hunter is still “selling” fine art, and Joe Biden has no idea how all those classified documents from his time in the Senate ended up in his garage. Good work, FBI….

Where's the charges against Biden? He was BP when he stole his hordes of documents, none of which were properly secured. What about his bribery from foreign governments? That should all be hashed out before they even glance at Trump.

Did it include the most believable ... and prosecutable charge? That Trump conspired with his hotel maids to tear off those "Do Not Remove Under Penalty of Federal Law " tags off his hotel mattresses? I continue to remain amazed at how well those ladies have withstood the pressure to turn state's evidence against Trump.

The Justice Department’s indictment of former President Donald Trump is still all the rage on the airwaves and interwebs. Members of the chattering class have been chiming in, giving their two cents on the matter. Renowned Harvard law professor Alan Dershowitz recently offered his opinion on the case during an appearance on Newsmax in which he indicated that Trump’s situation is precarious, but his fate isn’t necessarily sealed. According to Dershowitz, the indictment against Donald Trump is partly serious and partly expected, as possessing classified material may not be damning due to potential defenses under the Presidential Records Act. However,

China has been spying on the United States from a base in Cuba, a Biden administration official said on Saturday, claiming that “this is an issue that this administration inherited.” The Wall Street Journal, followed by POLITICO and other outlets, reported on Thursday that China had been in conversations with Havana to establish a new spy base in the island nation. That same day, the White House and the Pentagon said the reporting was “inaccurate,” without going into details. On Saturday, an administration official clarified by saying that the Chinese base in Cuba has already been established, noting that it didn’t happen on their watch.

Wow. The entire Trump classified documents story really took some wild turns on my day off, none of them involving any good news. As Ed pointed out yesterday, the charges against the former President are far more damning than we had originally imagined. In fact, even with a Trump-appointed judge hearing it, Trump’s lawyers may be unable to get the charges dismissed and he could well be convicted… eventually. (That may become important later.) I understand why Beege is angry and frustrated over this. Trump did this to himself and allowed himself to be taped while admitting he knew it was wrong. But the lopsided claims

Now this is interesting. According to the Public Religion Research Institute, Americans’ attitudes to the alphabet ideology have been hardening, and the numbers don’t look so good if you are a proponent of the madness. PRRI polled more than 5000 Americans–a huge sample for a poll, and one for which a ton of money had to be paid–and there has been a significant shift away from the basic tenets of the gender ideology that has been shoved down our throats by everybody in the Establishment over the past couple of years. Political debates about gender identity have become heated in recent years, as some state legislatures have increasingly sought to restrict transgender rights.

Jack Smith delivered a two-minute statement Friday, soon after the department unsealed a 37-count indictment against Trump that accuses him of mishandling classified information. Smith said prosecutors would seek a speedy trial. The case was filed in Florida. As RedState reported (and as prior reports indicated), Donald Trump was indicted for a second time on Thursday, this time by the DOJ for alleged violations of the Espionage Act. That relates to documents that he took with him after leaving the White House. The government’s chief piece of evidence is reportedly a tape of Trump discussing a national security document with Mark Meadows and his staffers during a Q and A for a book. The DOJ is accusing the former president of admitting on the tape that he knew the document was still classified. Jack Smith and his team of prosecutors are going to attempt to undercut Trump’s primary defense,

In the wake of news that former President Donald Trump would be indicted on federal charges next week related to his handling of classified documents, many rightfully noted the two-tiered system of justice that's being employed to go after Trump while turning a blind eye to Hillary Clinton and Joe Biden — Democrats who had classified materials in unapproved locations. Democrats, of course, are used to this benefit of belonging to the "correct" party, and now Hillary Clinton is outright gloating about the partisan immunity she enjoys.
