ST. LOUIS   — Unless Missouri Gov. Mike Parson grants clemency, Amber McLaughlin, 49, will become the first openly transgender woman executed in the U.S. She is scheduled to die by injection Tuesday for killing a former girlfriend in 2003. McLaughlin’s attorney, Larry Komp, said there are no court appeals pending. The clemency request focuses on several issues, including McLaughlin’s traumatic childhood and mental health issues, which the jury never heard in her trial.

Comments:

The new Get Out of Jail Free Card. Or get out of the death penalty for premedittated murder of HIS girlfriend. He was a man when he committed the crime; he is a man now. Transitioned three years ago in prison. This should not be allowed to happen.

Crime = punishment. Evidence has nothing to do with emotions. Oh let’s feel sorry for the guy. He killed his GF got a weenie snip and tuck and now plays the mommy and daddy wasnt there to change my underwear card. Lay down and roll up your sleeve. Execution by lethal injection is too easy for a piece of trash like you.

Were the mental health issues caused by his transtesticle treatments? Or were those issues the cause of his "trans" hallucination? Either way, didn't the woke medical lobbyists claim that "trans" procedures would depend on whether the patient was capable of making a sound decision? Shouldn't mental health issues be as much an obstacle to that as it is to getting a gun? Oops, never mind. (That safeguard isn't carefully observed, either...)

Hey, you can't execute "Her" because the mental health report sez... "...she suffers from depression and attempted suicide multiple times." Cannot kill someone who has tried many times to kill themselves, that wouldn't be "Fair", no matter HOW guilty they are. Unless...maybeeee...as a schizophrenic "He" can be charged with multiple attempted murders of "Her", a Hate Crime against women AND transgenders. Each suicide attempt was an attempted murder...right?

I have been asked to speculate about the cardiac arrest suffered by Damar Hamlin. First off, I truly believe that giving his physicians and trainers space to work professionally is critical: we need to allow them to do the tests, diagnostics and whatever procedures need to be performed outside of the glare of corporate media AND internet armchair physicians. We won’t get the details we would like at the moment we would like, (snip)Corporate media and the news cycle are monsters, and they prey on these types of stories and controversies, which generate clicks, views, likes and revenue. “If it bleeds, it leads”. The best I can say about 2022 is that it was not a leap year. After 9 months of this year, Queen Elizabeth had all she could take. She was out of here. She had been through the London Blitz, the dismantling of the British Empire and the death of her husband of of 69 years. She always kept calm and kept rolling. But 2022 was just too much for her. The year began with a poll on 2021 by Rasmussen. It found only 2% rated 2021 as one of the best years ever; 48% said it was a poor year. 2021 is now considered the good old days compared to 2022.
