Former President Donald Trump and his wife Melania reported negative income in four of the six years covered by the couple’s joint tax returns, which were released on Friday by the Democrat-controlled House Ways and Means Committee. While the committee earlier published a report and some documents that revealed details about the Trumps’ income and taxes paid, the panel on Dec. 30 made the full set of tax documents public. The complete assortment of tax return documents, which cover the years 2015 to 2020, consists of over 2,700 pages of individual returns for Trump and Melania and over 3,000 pages for the former president’s businesses.

Trump’s properties lost money in 2020, largely due to the lockdowns, big surprise! At least Trump has enough financial staying power to weather the storm. Not so much all the mom and pop landlords who could not enforce rental agreements nor evict deadbeat tenants, while still having to pay their mortgages, property taxes, etc. I think Trump initially assumed that public health bureaucrats were actually concerned with public health, where in reality they were part of the deep state/uniparty/media conspiracy to ensure he lost the election, no matter how many people had to die and how much wealth had to be destroyed. This is why it would be great to get Trump back in office, he knows. But the deep state/uniparty/media knows he knows, so they will never allow him to take office again, no matter what. We are no longer a self-governed nation, we have a ruling class that holds “elections” to distract people and let them think they actually have a say.

After Trump was elected President, Trump turned all his business interests over to some of his close family members with the proviso that they not initiate any foreign business deals as long as he was in the White House. On top of that, it was routinely reported that Trump never accepted any presidential government salary during the four years that he was President. So it stands to reason that Trump lost a huge amount of money during the time that he was the President and that his income tax returns would show that and were subsequently accepted by the IRS. But when you look at the corrupt and grifting Biden it is the exact opposite, as during the decides that’s he was an elected federal official, in the US Senate, as Vice-President and, now since he assumed the Presidency, he always accepted a government salary, and along with some of his family members through influence peddling, became multimillionaires, carried out through all sorts of corrupt foreign deals involving China, Ukraine and other foreign places. When Trump tried to bring out Biden’s corrupt activities in Ukraine where Biden’s son Hunter was effectively the bagman, the leftist, progressive, and socialist Congressional Democrats impeached Trump. The leftist Democrats by publicly releasing all those Trump income tax returns gave leftist Democrat aligned tax accountants and lawyers all over the country the opportunity to mull over Trump’s income tax returns and make all sorts of accusations and allegations of crime and misconduct involved in the preparation and substance of those Trump income tax returns. What all the amounts to is just more partisan Democrat dirty tricks.

It’s fait accompli, so I accept that. Now, i think it should be mandatory that all politicians release their tax returns for all years they are in office and 10 years thereafter. I want to see that there’s no payola. Tax returns and all documents relating to how the income was derived. Peelousey? McCon-elle? John effen carrion?

The word "loophole" is loaded. Congress, not Trump, wrote the tax code. There is nothing shady about using a clause in the tax code to reduce one's tax liability. As the US Supreme Court ruled in Gregory vs. Helvering, 1935, "..... the legal right of a taxpayer to decrease the amount of what otherwise would be his taxes, or altogether avoid them, by means which the law permits, cannot be doubted."

The best I can say about 2022 is that it was not a leap year. After 9 months of this year, Queen Elizabeth had all she could take. She was out of here. She had been through the London Blitz, the dismantling of the British Empire and the death of her husband of of 69 years. She always kept calm and kept rolling. But 2022 was just too much for her. The year began with a poll on 2021 by Rasmussen. It found only 2% rated 2021 as one of the best years ever; 48% said it was a poor year. 2021 is now considered the good old days compared to 2022.

Thirty-three states plus the District of Columbia have rules on their books against the so-called corporate practice of medicine. But over the years, critics say, companies have successfully sidestepped bans on owning medical practices by buying or establishing local staffing groups that are nominally owned by doctors and restricting the physicians’ authority so they have no direct control.

Why did Republicans underperform during the 2022 mid-terms? That question has become a near-constant point of contention on the right. Was it a candidate quality issue? I’d argue that was certainly the case in several high-profile races, but that’s obviously not the only thing that plagued the GOP. There was also a lack of coherent messaging from leadership, and in many important races, Democrats were simply able to outspend their opponents by large margins. The RNC’s inability to harvest votes and bank early votes didn’t help either. Donald Trump is looking elsewhere for an explanation, though. In an eyebrow-raising rant on Sunday, he appeared to blame pro-lifers for GOP woes.
