Left-leaning Democrats have soured on Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg in response to the mass flight cancelations during the holiday season despite his promise to fix the problem back in September of this year.
In a tweet on Thursday, Rep. Ro Khanna (D-CA), one of the few Democrats who criticized Twitter’s decision to censor the Hunter Biden laptop story, publicly scolded Buttigieg for not sticking to his pledge to hold airlines accountable.
“Nearly six months ago @BernieSanders & I called for Buttigieg to implement fines & penalties on airlines for cancelling flights. Why were these recommendations not followed?”

Booty Judge reached his level of incompetence as mayor of South Bend, so this is no surprise.

From Wikipedia re South Bend, as of the 2020 census, the city had a total of 103,453 residents and is the fourth-largest city in Indiana.
Who would have dreamed that that would be sufficient experience for a major cabinet position in the federal government? Buttigeig doesn’t go on vacation. He is hiding, scared out of his wits...

I agree that Pete is in way over his head, but government fines weren’t going to resolve the issue. Apparently Southwest is way behind in updating their technology and the bad weather exposed that many times over. How were fines going to improve their technology in a few months and prevent the storms?

yeh , it is way more productive to send fine $$$ to the dc goobers than update and improve your airline .. yet another way to stifle and snare the citizenry into blaming the airline not the swamp and it’s arcane bull schifft

This incompetence must have inconvenienced some big Dem donors who created a stink. He held the FLYING PUBLIC accountable rather than the airlines. Don't let the DOOR hit you on the BUTTI, Dumbo.

To be fair, and I think the guy is a fool and dangerous, the weather is not his fault. The airlines are doing the best they can under the circumstances. They certainly don't enjoy cancelling flights and facing employee no shows.

I wonder why? They’ve repudiated meritocracy in favor of identity idolization. He’s certainly weird looking and a mom at that.
Are those doing the souring homophobes?

Take a look at their reason for "souring" on the failed mayor of South Bend. He did not impose fines and penalties to their satisfaction..... in other words, MORE regulation. This is not good news.

I can see the administration personnel staff two years ago: "We've got this gay mayor we've got to find a cabinet position for. Any suggestions?" "How about Transportation? Private sector runs that stuff. Nothing to do. Piece of cake."

He couldn’t keep potholes repaired in South Bend but fools like Ro Khanna and Bernie Sanders think he can manage airline scheduling and personnel. Only in America…or what’s left of it.

I know South Bend - I like parts of it but a drive through the city would not impress most people. Whoever thought Buttegieg was capable of more? Democrats have a weak, weak bench. If only the GOP would realize it.

Be careful what you say about the 'chest feeding' mom he might be the next president of the United States if the cheat isn't addressed in the next two years. Incompetence has nothing to do with the job look who fronts this nation now a dimwit fraud.
