Thank you Lucianne for indulging an exception to only allowing posting from legitimate news sources. I'd file this under comic relief. Clearly the WaPost is aiming to help lay the groundwork to discredit a possible decision disallowing racial discrimination in college admissions. Personally I'm disappointed the journalists didn't determine how many of the 374 lawyers are left-handed. That's very sinister.

If you have a case going before the Supreme Court -- the court of last resort in our legal system, and the one that sets precedence for decades to come -- are you going to hire the very best lawyers possible to represent your case, or are you going to hire an Affirmative Action lawyer just so you can show how "woke" you are (even if it means you will probably lose, because the other side will definitely hire the best of the best lawyers to represent them)??????? Only racists see racism in everything. Sane people see qualifications, not skin color or gender!!!!! MLK must be spinning extra fast in his grave these days!!!

Unless there is evidence they're excluded because of race, the small percentage of black lawyers reflects negatively on quality of black lawyers rather than on the SCOTUS.

Why only white lawyers in these affirmative action cases? The reasons are simple. Whites victimized by affirmative action will almost always find that only white lawyers are sympathetic to their plight And white liberals are the real drivers behind affirmative action. Blacks are just their tool.

Five years ago, Rep. Mo Brooks saw a unique opportunity to become a U.S. senator. Jeff Sessions had just left Capitol Hill to become the attorney general, and the Alabama congressman was ready for a promotion.
