No, NYT, The Difference Between Abortion
And A Miscarriage Is Not The Mother’s Feelings

There’s been an awful lot of talk about miscarriage in the wake of a Supreme Court ruling that had nothing to do with it. As the pro-abortion left clings to its movement in a post-Roe world, two law professors have taken to the New York Times opinion section to ask, “Why Do We Talk About Miscarriage Differently From Abortion?” It’s an absurd question on its face, with the obvious rejoinder being that we talk differently about miscarriage and abortion for the same reason we talk differently about aneurysms and first-degree murder, consensual sex and rape, or salaried employment and slavery.

Comments:

The New York Times is run by truly despicable people.

I have been pregnant 6 times with 2 live births, 3 miscarriages and a stillbirth. None of my pregnancy losses equated to abortions, and I highly resent any such comparisons. It’s a despicable trick of the abortion lobby to increase support for their nefarious activities while trying to instill fear in women planning to become pregnant.

Just off of the top of the new things to learn, I have been told that: 1) Killing a baby is a right. 2) Perverted sex between two males is a right. I guess I should do my BA, MS and PhD over again, because I seem to have learned otherwise about those alleged rights.

Logic like this is why we have teen-aged serial killers: the value of human life is discredited.

#2 I am so sorry for your losses. Though few ever talk about it, you are not alone. I have been pregnant 4 times and have been blessed with 2 live healthy babies. I had 2 miscarriages, one at 9 weeks 4 days and one at 14 weeks 1 day. Both exceptionally traumatic. Only an inhumane monster would make such a comparison. I can not imagine any woman who has lost a very much wanted and loved baby through no fault of her own would ever listen to these evil people.

The findings from the examination into the origins of the Democratic establishment’s attempts to destroy President Donald Trump by accusing him of colluding with key members of the Russian government – better known as The Durham Investigation – have always hinged on one key aspect of the hoax: The Steele Dossier. It was the cornerstone card upon which the entire farcical house of cards was built. In October, one of the key enablers of the dossier’s eventual prominence, Igor Danchenko, will stand trial for making false statements to the FBI. And while Special Counsel John Durham has clearly been deeply involved with all the pieces of the Russia Hoax puzzle,

Kansans head to the polls Tuesday to vote on the proposed “Value Them Both” constitutional amendment that seeks to overturn the Kansas Supreme Court’s decision in Hodes & Nauser v. Schmidt that declared that the state constitution guarantees a “fundamental right to abortion.” Many Kansans may not realize, however, that the votes they cast on Tuesday may have been heavily influenced by out-of-state abortion apologists who contributed a whopping 71 percent of the $6.54 million spent by the lead group campaigning against the amendment.

There is perhaps no better example of a privileged, leftist elitist than the Duke of Sussex: aka Britain’s Prince Harry. He was born with a platinum spoon in his mouth and has lived a life so detached from reality that he can’t begin to relate to regular folks, yet he somehow feels empowered, or perhaps obligated, to lecture the rest of us after a caviar brunch and immediately prior to being whisked away with bodyguards in a limousine. Add to the equation Harry’s apparently unavoidable penchant for condescension and pompousness, along with his complete betrayal of his family, and the prince

Americans should start paying closer attention to the ongoing farmer protests in the Netherlands, which this week transformed long swaths of Dutch highways into what looked like a post-apocalyptic warzone: roadside fires raging out of control, manure and farming detritus heaped across highways, traffic stalled for miles, and massive protests across the country in support of the farmers. Why is the Netherlands, of all places, experiencing such unrest? Americans need to understand what’s happening over there because the ruinous climate policies

For a football team, when your hometown fans boo at you as you take the field in your own stadium, you know you’ve been playing poorly. For a young student, if your own father tells you the essay you just wrote is crap, it’s probably time to scrap that homework assignment and start from scratch. And for a Democratic president, if the pundits on CNN and/or MSNBC start trashing your performance, you know you’re in a world of hurt. Such is the case with President Joe Biden who received a thorough beatdown from far-left, ultra-loyal Democrat and CNN commentator and former Obama Administration official Van Jones recently.

For years, Europe has depended on Russia for more than 40 percent of its natural gas imports as well as a large portion of its oil and solid fuels. Now that Russia is embroiled in war and facing sanctions from multiple nations, it has tightened its supply to the European Union. As a result, Europeans are struggling with an energy crisis that is forcing millions to dim their lights and ration hot water. One Washington Post article soberly announced, “Europe braces for gas ‘nightmare’ as pipeline from Russia shuts off,”

In August 2021, the Los Angeles City Council and Mayor Eric Garcetti, with little ostensible political opposition, passed and approved an ordinance that would “require COVID-19 vaccination for all current and future city employees” with limited exceptions for those granted medical or religious exemptions. The stated rationale was that “COVID-19 continues to pose a significant public health risk. … Vaccination is the most effective way to prevent transmission and limit COVID-19 hospitalizations and deaths. … Unvaccinated employees are at a greater risk of contracting and spreading COVID-19 within the workplace, and risk transmission to the public that depends on City services.”

In the past fifty years, we’ve had precisely ten different First Ladies in America. Some of them spent their time in the White House mostly under the radar, with Rosalynn Carter and both Laura and Barbara Bush falling into this category. Others such as Nancy Reagan with her fondness for astronomy and Betty Ford with her personal challenges were somewhat quirkier, but they were likeable and mostly unremarkable. Both Hillary Clinton and Michelle Obama could be outspoken and controversial, but at least they were mostly clever and competent. And then we have Jill Biden. The adage “opposites attract” may be true in some cases,

A group of establishment Republicans released a report last week claiming to make “The Conservative Case that Trump Lost and Biden Won the 2020 Presidential Election.” It is not news that Joe Biden won the 2020 election. The report’s strawman-slaying title is intended to suggest that concerns about the integrity of that election are without merit. But the report itself simply goes through court decisions and recounts, listing how they turned out.It focuses on questions about “fraud,” rather than the significant and extremely well-substantiated concerns Republican voters have about the election.

It’s not often we see Democrats complimenting political adversaries or admitting their own policies and stances were incorrect. To be fair, the same could be said about most Republicans, but this stubbornness and defiance appear much more frequently on the left. When was the last time we heard Liz Warren say something nice about Ted Cruz? And can anyone recall a nice thing AOC has said about Lauren Boebert? But for Democrats, there is a hierarchy of antagonism. Figures such as Mitch McConnell and Marco Rubio are seen as rivals. Others such as Marjorie Taylor Greene and Clarence Thomas are seen as enemies. And then we have Donald Trump,

White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre is rapidly building a reputation for herself as the high priestess of ill-preparedness. “I would have to get back to you on that” is her typical reply to even the most elementary of questions. She also isn't exactly an adept wordsmith. If she continues down this path, perhaps someday she may surpass Kamala Harris. Just how bad is the Biden administration and Democrat Congress's grossly misnamed "Inflation Reduction Act" of 2022? Americans are no strangers to “times that try men’s souls,” to borrow a phrase from Thomas Paine. By mid-1945, the United States had been at war for three-and-a-half years, enduring the draft, separation from loved ones, mounting numbers of casualties, and rationing, with no end in sight. Many Americans were weary, not unlike our feelings now, after two-and-a-half years of privations and anguish related to the COVID-19 pandemic. That sense of anxiety and the widespread desire to return to normality brought to mind how World War II was suddenly – and to many, unexpectedly – resolved.

Craft breweries across America have been on the front lines of businesses facing higher material costs because of inflation. Now, many are confronting a shortage of a key ingredient: carbon dioxide, the gas that gives beer its crisp, effervescent taste. And one brewer has already said it plans to shut down a key manufacturing plant and lay off workers as a result. Night Shift Brewing, in Everett, Massachusetts, just outside Boston, cited the CO2 shortage as the reason it is suspending operations at its longtime facility and outsourcing to nearby locations instead. "Come October 1, we won’t likely have jobs for many of this team," the company said in a statement on Instagram.
