Seeing The Light? Virginia Democratic
Senator Mark Warner Admits, “Trump Was Right”

It’s not often we see Democrats complimenting political adversaries or admitting their own policies and stances were incorrect. To be fair, the same could be said about most Republicans, but this stubbornness and defiance appear much more frequently on the left. When was the last time we heard Liz Warren say something nice about Ted Cruz? And can anyone recall a nice thing AOC has said about Lauren Boebert? But for Democrats, there is a hierarchy of antagonism. Figures such as Mitch McConnell and Marco Rubio are seen as rivals. Others such as Marjorie Taylor Greene and Clarence Thomas are seen as enemies. And then we have Donald Trump,

Yes Senator, he was right about TikTok and if you would be honest for once (hard for a Rat to do) you would admit Trump was right in most of what he said and did. Your present flag carrier, Mushbrains, is destroying the country, not to mention bringing the world to the brink. THAT'S something you'll NEVER admit.

Good Lord, these people are (XXX). The privacy of American citizens disappeared without a peep years ago as the technologies of data mining grew and improved. There are scores of data banks out there that buy and sell your private information - from grocery discount cards to major credit card companies, social platforms and various service providers - not to mention the US Government. And from there our own government further refines this into dossiers otherwise known as "open source intelligence". Ever watch that "FBI" TV program where a lifetime of personal information on perps and victims is immediately available to agents? That's the idea. So long as there are idiots, outfits like Tik-tok and Candy Crush will thrive, offering free foolishness in exchange for your personal information. It ain't just the commies, who are excellent capitalists themselves.

Tell me something I don't know senator Horseface. PDJT was right in most of what he said. That didn't stop you and your party from doing everything you did in trying to destroy him and his administration Warner. It wasn't that he was a Republican President who worked hard for We the People. You and your ilk saw him as an enemy that needed to be defeated in every way. The fact that you're saying what you said now is just your pathetically transparent attempt at you trying to sound moderate. When we all know that you're nothing but a partisan democrat hack. You can pound sand as far as I'm concerned.

I have a friend of almost 50 years with whom I share many interests (music, sports, literature, chess, old TV shows, many mutual friends, etc.) But we are about 179 degrees opposite politically. We have enough to talk about without getting into politics, so we usually leave that aside. This past year, though, when things have come up in the news, I have noticed him saying on several occasions: "Trump was right."

A group of establishment Republicans released a report last week claiming to make “The Conservative Case that Trump Lost and Biden Won the 2020 Presidential Election.” It is not news that Joe Biden won the 2020 election. The report’s strawman-slaying title is intended to suggest that concerns about the integrity of that election are without merit. But the report itself simply goes through court decisions and recounts, listing how they turned out.It focuses on questions about “fraud,” rather than the significant and extremely well-substantiated concerns Republican voters have about the election.

The Brittney Griner story has been one which tears at us from two sides. When we hear about an American being detained in a foreign country for offenses which are considered minor here in the U.S., we often become sympathetic, depending on the infraction, of course. And when we learn that the country holding that prisoner is an archrival or enemy such as China, Iran, North Korea, or Russia, our sympathies become that much stronger. In the case of Brittney Griner, however, things aren’t that simple. Griner, who has been detained in a Russian prison since her arrest at a Moscow airport for possession of cannabis oil

The Wisconsin Supreme Court on Friday held that state election officials’ use of some 500-plus drop boxes during the 2020 general election violated Wisconsin law. While the court’s decision represents a (partial, as we will soon see) victory for election integrity, the split 4-3 decision and the substance of the dissent reveal that having a fair electoral process no longer “transcends any individual partisan interest” — something less than two decades ago Jimmy Carter touted as a universal truth in the bipartisan Commission on Election Reform report “Building Confidence in U.S. Elections.”

When discussing the “historic” levels of events or milestones, it’s often helpful to put a topic or timeframe into perspective. Therefore, consider these aspects from the period of June 1993.
