The Biden administration and U.S. public health officials are developing a plan to use public health emergency authorities to speed up the distribution of the monkeypox vaccine, two senior administration officials and another person with knowledge of the matter told POLITICO. A decision memo created by the Department of Health and Human Services has circulated through U.S. health agencies and secured broad support from agency heads. The memo would call monkeypox a public health emergency, according to the two senior administration officials. White House monkeypox response coordinator Robert Fenton also supports using these authorities to speed up

Why isn’t St. Fauci calling on gay men to abstain for “2 months to flatten the curve”? Because that would go against the LGBTQ etc narrative, and they’d rather use it to justify further abuse of so-called emergency powers to restrict civil liberties and cheat elections.

Interesting how LGBTQ groups and advocates are pushing for the emergency declaration to speed up the Monkeypox vaccine distribution to the LGBTQ community while at the same time forbidding the mention of the LGBTQ community (gay men) being the main spreaders of the disease to prevent "stigma" on the gay male and LGBTQ community and their sexual activities. Monkeypox has become as much a political disease as a medical problem. It's spread could be easily slowed if the people in charge had the guts to call out the "men who have sex with other men" who have been the main spreaders of the disease. LGBTQ advocates should actually advocate for the health and safety of their community rather than worry about any "stigma" associated with the disease. The longer they try to be PC the more the actual stigma will really be.

DC is going to be so surprised to find out they just might have a fight on their hands over this one. This isn't a disease of the normal folks. This is a disease that has been passed from gay man to gay man. The problem is, now those gay men are passing it onto kids who live in their residences. Must not stigmatize the gay community.

The United States is preparing a new $1bn security assistance package for Ukraine, which will include munitions for long-range weapons and armoured medical transport vehicles, according the Reuters news agency. The package would be one of the largest so far and is expected to be announced as early as Monday, three sources briefed on the matter told Reuters. The US has given about $8.8bn in aid to Ukraine since Russia’s invasion on February 24. The officials, speaking to Reuters on the condition of anonymity, said that President Joe Biden had not yet signed the next weapons package, and cautioned that weapons packages can change in value and content before they are signed.

While the Republicans look to retake control of Congress in the 2022 midterm elections — which are only 95 days away — after being in the minority for roughly four years, the most recent Rasmussen Reports survey showed that 46 percent of likely U.S. voters would elect a Republican, compared to the 43 percent who said they would vote for a Democrat. Thus the Republicans only have a three-point lead, which is two points less

On topics such as health care, voting rights, COVID-19, energy, and guns Democrats have increased their lead on the question of “Who do you trust” on a particular issue. According to the poll, “Congressional Democrats have an average advantage of 6 percentage points (45% to 39%) over congressional Republicans when voters are asked who they trust to handle a range of 14 issues. That edge has steadily increased since early April, when the two parties were essentially tied on the question.” In truth, all of those issues above are overwhelmed
