President Joe Biden on Wednesday bragged about the performance of U.S. stocks during his time in office, as he made a speech in honor of labor unions at the White House. "The stock market has gone up exponentially since I've been president. You haven't heard me say word about it," Biden said, in an apparent reference to former President Donald Trump's frequent comments about the stock market. The S&P 500 SPX, -2.65% has gained about 17% since Jan. 20, the day that Biden was inaugurated.

When Trump would repeat something on Twitter that "a friend" had told him, the result was usually an embarrassment. Trump would get something half right, which would also make it half wrong. The media would call it "a lie." It was not a lie any more than the incorrect answer on an exam is a lie. But a president has the resources to be exceptionally accurate. He just lacked the self-discipline. Biden is an even worse embarrassment, but until now, the press has always had his back, usually by the simple expedient of not covering it. Self-discipline in speech has never been his problem because the entire liberal establishment has ignored it. Today's stock market example of this is becoming an issue because when he strays from the script, everyone--not just experts and fact-checkers--knows he is wrong. And that is a big problem.

Ok, I know he's dumber than a wall, but do they actually feed this guy fake info, so that he can go out and spout this crap....thinking it's all true??? Does he actually think the stock market is booming, people are getting richer, etc.??? Again, I know he's REALLY stupid, but I'm starting to wonder if this is like Hitler's last days, where they are just feeding him fake news, and the idiot actually thinks everything is rosy out here in "the real world"!

Yes, an old article as pointed out in the OP's comment. The point made was that Brandon was bragging about "exponential growth" last September and today ALL gains on the S&P 500 and Dow Jones since Jan. 20, 2021 have been WIPED OUT and it is solely due to Brandon's Leftist policies.

In a couple weeks, the growth rate for the second quarter will be published. The first quarter rate was a -1.4%. If the second quarter is a negative number--and it will be--then we are officially in a recession. Team Biden knows this. And is throwing up as much flak as they can to try and lessen the fallout. But again, I don't blame Biden. Or his puppeteers. No. I blame everyone who voted for Biden. This is all you.

President Joe Biden used his first State of the Union speech on Tuesday night to call out Russia’s invasion of Ukraine and vowed to tame surging inflation and the COVID-19 pandemic. Biden underscored in his 62-minute address that much of the world is united against Russia as he tried to make Americans feel optimistic about the future — despite his first year in office being plagued by economic and public health woes. On the 10th anniversary of the death of Trayvon Martin, the New York Times has published a video about this tragedy that slanders individuals, sows racial resentments, and impugns the people of the United States en masse. In addition to employing a series of highly deceptive half-truths, the video edits a police recording to make it seem like Martin was murdered and that his killer got away with it because Martin was black. The events underlying the video unfolded on a rainy night in Sanford, Florida in February 2012 when Trayvon Martin, a 17-year-old black teen, was shot and killed by a neighborhood watch volunteer named George Zimmerman.

But the partnership between China and Russia was strong enough that the Chinese government informed the Kremlin as to what the US knew.
