NY Times Publishes Slanderous Video About
the Death of Trayvon Martin

On the 10th anniversary of the death of Trayvon Martin, the New York Times has published a video about this tragedy that slanders individuals, sows racial resentments, and impugns the people of the United States en masse. In addition to employing a series of highly deceptive half-truths, the video edits a police recording to make it seem like Martin was murdered and that his killer got away with it because Martin was black. The events underlying the video unfolded on a rainy night in Sanford, Florida in February 2012 when Trayvon Martin, a 17-year-old black teen, was shot and killed by a neighborhood watch volunteer named George Zimmerman.

How come these stories - - always publish that photo of St. Trayvon as a 12-year-old cherub - - and not the one of him as a grown thug with a gold grill? And how did this homeless waif pay for that gold grill? Could it be from selling stuff that he stole? I'm just asking for a friend.

In their largesse, the NYT continues to provide courtroom fodder to litigants whom they libel in their reporting. I sure hope George Zimmerman can sue the hell out of those who drag his name through the mud, like Nick Sandman has done and Kyle Rittenhouse will do.

It's as if the NYT wants to be sued into bankruptcy for publishing libel. As their doors close for the last time they'll blame it on "white supremacists"?

Trayvon earned that bullet by being a violent, vicious punk and attacking an armed man. Zero sympathy. The world is a better place with one less violent punk.

Has it been ten years? Seems like yesterday when the press could NOT begin to turn it loose. Like the OP, I wonder why don't they show him in priestly garments and halo? And furthermore, why don't the Skittles candy people fund his family 'from the womb to the tomb'? He was killed on his way to buy Skittles.

What a gift it will be when the legacy media can no longer write libelous things about others, and the self-anointed elites cannot say slanderous things about others that destroy their reputations and character.

Did they not follow the trial? Many witnesses, mostly black, said Trayvon was beating Zimmerman's head onto the concrete and then reached for the man's gun. It was self defense. Yeah, Zimmerman was a fool playing cop but he broke no laws. Martin did.

Trayvon was killed in an act of self-defense by George Zimmerman. The back story is Trayvon was a throw-away kid. Mom didn't show much interest until there was money to be made.

Just like Hollywood, everything in fake news is a remake of an old story. Nothing new, just the same scripts using new faces to deliver the same old stories over and over again. Guess they are trying to stir up their base with emotion since they don’t respond to facts and logic.

President Joe Biden used his first State of the Union speech on Tuesday night to call out Russia’s invasion of Ukraine and vowed to tame surging inflation and the COVID-19 pandemic. Biden underscored in his 62-minute address that much of the world is united against Russia as he tried to make Americans feel optimistic about the future — despite his first year in office being plagued by economic and public health woes. Here are a few key moments from Biden’s address:

The Foundation for Accountability and Civic Trust (FACT) on Monday requested that the Senate Select Committee on Ethics probe Blumenthal's sale of Robinhood shares worth up to $2.5 million. Blumenthal, one of the wealthiest members of the Senate, failed to disclose the trades within the 45 days required under federal law, the Washington Free Beacon reported.

In 2016, voters in California approved a $1.2 billion program to build housing for the homeless. This is a fine idea, and Californians should be applauded for their compassion and generosity. But six years later, only 1,200 units have been built out of the 10,300 that have been paid for. One project under development would cost $837,000 for each housing unit, according to a report published by Los Angeles city controller Ron Galperin. Another 14% of units exceeded $700,000 in cost.

A new report reveals that the Biden administration attempted to stave off the Russian invasion of Ukraine as far back as last November. They did so by trying to share intelligence with Beijing. But the partnership between China and Russia was strong enough that the Chinese government informed the Kremlin as to what the US knew. It adds more to the questions surrounding what preventative measures President Biden undertook leading up to the invasion of Ukraine earlier this week.CORRECTION*

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention relaxed its mask guidance on Friday, allowing most people to ditch their face coverings so long as Covid-19 hospitalizations in their communities remain low. Under the new CDC guidance, people are advised to wear masks in public areas indoors, including schools, when there’s a lot of virus circulation in their communities that could overwhelm local hospitals. More than 70% of Americans live in communities where wearing masks is no longer recommended under the new CDC guidelines, because hospitals are not under severe threat from disease there.
