Why The Jury Should Convict Michael Sussmann
Of Lying To The FBI, But Probably Won’t

Closing arguments will begin later this morning in Special Counsel John Durham’s false statement case against former Hillary Clinton campaign attorney Michael Sussmann, after Sussmann made a last-minute decision on Thursday not to testify in his own defense. The evidence prosecutors elicited from witnesses over the last two weeks provides overwhelming proof of Sussmann’s guilt and destroys the many defense theories Sussmann’s legal team floated throughout the trial. Yet a conviction of a fellow D.C.-swamp dweller may be unattainable.

If he doesn't end up behind bars, we have a serious problem.

It's a Democrat tainted Jury. He is guilty all right, but his being found guilty will perhaps lead to an indictment against Hillary Clinton His being found Not guilty will probably be the end of Durhams' investigation as it would be a waste of time going after people that a Democrat jury would turn loose no matter what the evidence was. Never look for Justice against highly placed democrats, We all know what Hillary did here was Treason, and she will skate.

If there is a hung jury and if it is not too late, I would hope that the prosecutors seek moving the trial out of DC. I do not think any DC jury could reasonably be expected to be unbiased.

If this trial goes to the jury today, Friday, the jury will vote for an acquittal on the single count by this afternoon so that they can enjoy 3 day weekend. Only hope is that one or two jurors vote for conviction so that judge declares a hung jury next week. What’s most disgusting with this prosecution is that the person Sussmann lied for, Hillary Clinton, avoids all legal liability. Durham appears to be a useful idiot.

Since the courts and most citizens of the District of Criminals are biased, these types of trials should be done by a military court.

It's DEE CEE. Three of the jurors are Hillary campaign contributors. A fourth juror has a daughter on the same college 'crew' (racing rowboat) team as Sussman's daughter. The Judge used to work with Sussman. This is the 'Just-Us' system on full display. The Fix is IN!

Baseball is a complicated game. The rulebook for Major League Baseball is 191 pages long. The intricacies of the game’s strategies are seemingly endless, and as a team manager at the top level of the sport, the opportunities for missteps present themselves constantly. Should we attempt a bunt in this situation? Do I need to bring another pitcher in to face this next batter? Does it make sense to attempt a hit-and-run play on this pitch? It’s not easy being a major league manager. But there are certain aspects of our national pastime that are simple, including rules that most of us learn as children playing in Little League.

Tech executive Rodney Joffe fed the Alfa Bank hoax to the FBI via two distinct routes, testimony from yesterday’s proceedings in the Michael Sussmann criminal case indicates. This apparent circular reporting further cements Special Counsel John Durham’s Section 1001 false statement case against Sussmann by highlighting the significance of Sussmann’s alleged lie to former FBI General Counsel James Baker. Sussmann, who is in the middle of week two of his trial in a D.C. federal court, was charged last fall in a one-count indictment with lying to Baker when he provided Baker two flash drives and several “white papers”

K-12 schools must allow boys into girls’ private areas to obtain federal funds for lunches, breakfasts, and snacks, the Biden administration announced this month. A U.S. Department of Education spokesman told The Federalist the Biden administration’s press releases from several agencies announcing this policy will be followed by formal rulemaking in June. “It seems to be playing politics with feeding poor kids, which is really unfortunate,” John Elcesser, executive director of the Indiana Non-Public Education Association, said via phone amid weeks of attempting to sort out these new demands with government officials on behalf of private schools in his state.

Thanks to the leaked opinion in the Dobbs case, abortion “rights” have become a hot topic on the left. But what about the rights of health care workers to refuse to abort babies? Or to refuse participation in other referrals or procedures (such as euthanasia or gender reassignment surgeries) to which they object on moral or religious grounds? Under a proposed rule removal by the Biden administration’s Health and Human Services Department (HHS), health care workers will have little recourse if their medical school, employer, or state insists that they participate in procedures or referrals to which they object.

But there are certain traits and features that have clearly been passed down from Trump the elder, particularly when it comes to their personalities. One of the more endearing qualities in both men is their plainspokenness. They don’t pull any punches, especially when it comes to issues and politicians about which they are passionate. Such was the case with Trump the younger when he weighed in on a hot-button topic recently, as reported by the Washington Post on Sunday. The subject was the Biden Administration’s flirtation with so-called “student loan forgiveness,” and Don Jr. didn’t hold back:

For those who scoff that Florida’s new education law bans “non-existent” gender indoctrination, let the tale of Fairfax County, Virginia serve as a wake-up call. Fairfax County’s school board has long prided itself on leading the way for the nation in cutting-edge education policy and curriculum. As the tenth-largest district in the nation, it holds disproportionate sway over other school boards. In 2015, the Fairfax school board blindsided parents with changes to its non-discrimination policy, followed by a sweeping expansion of the sex-ed curriculum and new rules governing student offenses and penalties.

On Wednesday, communist authorities in Hong Kong arrested Cardinal Joseph Zen on a phony “national security” charge. Zen’s immediate offense was his alleged involvement in a dissolved fund to defend those harmed by the ruthless crackdown on pro-democracy protesters in Hong Kong. His real crime is his unwillingness to overlook Beijing’s broken promises about establishing democracy with universal suffrage in Hong Kong—a promise it made to get the former colony back from the gullible British.

Young, the longest-serving Republican in the history of the U.S. House, was Alaska’s sole congressman for 49 years, so the election to replace him is in some ways an historic event for the state. But it’s also historic in another way: it will be Alaska’s first ever statewide mail-in primary election. That is, there will be no in-person voting at all. Every single voter on the state’s bloated and error-riddled voter rolls was automatically mailed a blank ballot.
