For those who scoff that Florida’s new education law bans “non-existent” gender indoctrination, let the tale of Fairfax County, Virginia serve as a wake-up call.
Fairfax County’s school board has long prided itself on leading the way for the nation in cutting-edge education policy and curriculum. As the tenth-largest district in the nation, it holds disproportionate sway over other school boards.
In 2015, the Fairfax school board blindsided parents with changes to its non-discrimination policy, followed by a sweeping expansion of the sex-ed curriculum and new rules governing student offenses and penalties.

Perhaps it is just a regional idiom or something, but living in Western Pennsylvania, a group of males, or females, or a mixed group, is often addressed as 'you guys' and no one is offended. Would that be a felony in Virginia?
Or should Virginia be called Humpty Dumpty World?

Who elects these school boards? Who puts teachers unions and special "education" interests in command of their child's schooling financed with public money? Who sits by quietly while this happens, hoping someone will "do something" to stop it? The vast majority can look in the mirror.

Fairfax county is the bluest county in the state. Almost all of the adults are bureaucrats in the federal government and it is where the election cheating takes place. What else would you expect?

From day one, I have refused to say he/she unless there is an independent reason to use that otherwise foul expression. For centuries he, him, his has been used to refer to a human. Look up Shakespeare.

No, poster #3, the new bumper sticker should say...'Virginia is for groomers.'

Considering Fairfax Co. ISN'T red Virginia or even purple but bright vulgar blue and all the parents are probably fairly wealthy government employees, I don't think they would have it any other way.

Since there are now 72 genders and who knows how many made up pronouns that most people have never heard of, how do they expect anyone except for the confused pronoun nazi's to know what to call anyone on any particular day, place, or time? Today I'm a girl, tomorrow I'm gender fluid, on Thursday I think I am no gender at all. Maybe I'll change it up again another day when the next gender type fad is named and I want to try that out to see how it helps my popularity. In the meantime, the 99% of normal students get in trouble because of the cool LGBTQ gender/pronoun kids.

I’m sure glad our kids are done with school. It’s one thing to impose that kind of curriculum on kids, but expelling those that use the normal references in addressing other students? Leave the kids alone!

Sending your children to schools that participate in these social issues amounts to child abuse. If I had children instead of great grand-children in this day and age, I would NOT go along with the social engineering that is being used in the U.S. today. Generations of children are being destroyed by this nonsense.

Two things.
I just left NoVa after a 10-day visit.
1) The darkness is palatable. Almost like an evil presence.
2) the amount of construction is staggering. Demolishing homes to construct McMansions (millions of dollars), or modifying existing homes.
NO “AFFORDABLE” HOUSING
Every house is occupied by a govt employee, lobbyist, contractor, or some other Swamp creature whose (enormous) salary is paid by us.
After my visit, I felt hopeless and discouraged. The Swamp is not fluid and murky. It is hardened, baked in the sun, and immovable.

No expelling, must offer the student a tuition and transportation voucher for a private school and the school board budget is reduced by an equivalent amount forever.

Go to the school board meetings with your preferred title/pronoun prominently displayed on your chest. Make your speech and wait for the board member to fail to address you properly. Then go after them. I can’t imagine them addressing a speaker as Your Most Highly Exalted Eminence.

#4: I noticed years ago when we had a girl in school, (not VA) the majority of people at at school board elections are teachers themselves or family and friends of teachers.
Kind of self-selection.

Is each child required to wear a sign with his* pronouns of choice on it?
What if a child does not have the educational skills to read pronouns displayed, or understand even the proper use of pronouns? (All you people who use "I" when you should use "me".)
*My suggestion is he/him/his for all sentient beings, it/it/its for everything else. No signs required.
(In the Army I went all Star Trek and called all Warrant Officer Ones "Mr. [surname]". Too much trouble figuring out that Miss/Mrs./Ms. thing.)

You can have your pronouns, but first I insist you refer to me by my Chosen Adjectives.
Handsome, Genius are the first 2, I have thousands. If you miss one of my preference on a particular day you're going to be ignored.

I think in order to really get to where they want to be the school board would be quite comfortable by getting rid of all pronouns and go straight to calling everyone 'Comrade'.

Then they will escape from the lunatic asylum that the government schools have become, and go to private schools or be home schooled, much to their benefit.
