For example, you moron, a couple of days ago, the woman in Charleston, WVA who used her handgun to shoot and kill a career criminal attacking a group at a party, using an AR15 type of rifle. She used her handgun, and quickly stopped him from shooting at them, before ANYONE was harmed besides the attacker. A trained, skilled and brave defender with a gun is the best possible situation. No - the facts are VERY clear. The best defense is a Good Guy (or Woman) with a gun.

One of the facts that she overlooks is we have a judicial system that has been corrupted. When nobody wants to take a look at the 2020 election, our judicial system is flawed.

Yeah, if the community had just had a "social worker" on site to "talk" to this nut job then none of this would have happened. A good shot between his eyes would have done the trick. And trained individuals could have pulled it off. But don't tell that to the woman who killed an armed intruder at the graduation party in the park last week. As a person who works in a school I would feel more impowered if I had availability to a gun to try and stop this murderer instead of a stapler. jackass lee is just that. A ignorant fool. Actually, off-duty LEO Jacob Albarado was sitting in a barber's chair when he got a message from his wife about the shooting. He borrowed his barber's shotgun , went to the school, rescued his wife (a teacher there) and children, and maybe others. In this situation, he WAS a good guy with a gun. Good thing his barber had the shotgun handy.

She was talking about aspects of criminal incidents, and especially the Uvalde school shooting incident, that did not happen. In Uvalde there were no “automatic” firearms in anyway involved there. An automatic rifle is effectively a machine gun that cannot be purchased in the USA without obtaining a rare federal firearms permit that is very hard and expensive to obtain. The rifle used by the perpetrator in Uvalde was actually some make and model of the iconic AR-15 semi-automatic rifle. In reality the AR-15 rifle is one of the most popular firearms purchased and used by US civilian gun owners, there are probably millions of them in the hands or law abiding Americans. The AR-15 is not used by the military in real wars. What that liberal Democrat congresswoman was actually engaging in was a verbal political exercise to mislead Americans who are not very knowledgeable about firearms, as the leftist Democrats always do, when addressing almost any important politically charged issue. If all such semi-automatic rifles were banned throughout the USA, unhinged homicidal maniac perpetrators, such as the perpetrator in Uvalde, would then no doubt switch to semi-automatic handguns as their tool to murder as many innocent people as possible. As almost all modern handguns today operate as semi-automatics, you can be sure that Biden and the leftist Democrats would then support the banning of all semi-automatic handguns. Notice when violent crime occurs, that the leftist Democrats, unless they can engineer the perpetrator into being a”White Supremacist”, always refer to those murders as being “gun violence” that is a term that is not included in any law, and never lay blame on the actual perpetrator, but immediately blame the firearm involved, that in reality is only an inanimate object that could not discharge or kill anyone until after a human perpetrator squeezed the trigger causing the firing mechanism of the firearm to operate and fire a round. The Democrat conundrum on that issue is that factually most of the perpetrators around the country who use mostly illegal guns to commit violent crime, and especially in the liberal Democrat run big cities, are members of Democrat favored minority groups that the Democrats vitally need to maintain their political power, so the Democrats will never do or say anything that might alienate the members of those minority groups, no matter how many members of minority groups are murdered by perpetrators of that minority group.

This is what happens when someone with no knowledge of guns, talks about guns.

The earliest known United States shooting to happen on school property was the Pontiac's Rebellion school massacre on July 26, 1764, where four Lenape American Indian entered the schoolhouse near present-day Greencastle, Pennsylvania, shot and killed schoolmaster Enoch Brown, and killed nine or ten children (reports vary). Only two children survived. The Children were not killed with guns, instead they were hacked to death with tomahawks and knives...as well as beaten with clubs. Given more than an hour locked inside a room with 9 year olds, Ramos could have killed them all with anything, even his bare hands....Knives or a hatchet is more "Traditional", and one of the reasons founding fathers, and even the King of England before them permitted, even REQUIRED that every citizen be armed with guns. How many shootings have been with an automatic? "Weapons of War" have one more selection choice than 99.99% of the guns available. Usually those who can afford an automatic aren't the type crazy enough to shoot up a bunch of innocents.
