According to evidence presented in court, actress Amber Heard lied within the first moment she stepped onto the witness stand last week, saying: “I am here because my ex-husband is suing me for an op-ed I wrote.”
The Washington Post op-ed at the heart of the defamation lawsuit from actor Johnny Depp carried the byline, “By Amber Heard,” and Heard should be held responsible for putting her name on its contents, but the op-ed was anything but written by Heard.
I would say Depp’s career was over when he spoke out about an actor assassinating President Trump.

There's more than enough strange behavior between these two, but I don't think he laid a hand on her. Hearing him recount the verbal abuse and physical beatings he endured growing up at the hands of his toxic mother made me feel for the guy.

I'm assuming, now that Trump is out of office, and gender-based violence has gone way down, since, i guess, he causes that.

I’m Guilty, ive watched some of the trial. As i saw some of the ACLU’s role emerge, I realized that they are just for sale thugs who have developed clout and use it to enrich themselves. Big surprise. And the wapo being unethical- big surprise.
Is this whole establishment/deep state mechanism - broad as it is - just cheap people grasping for payola? Or is it organized for the purpose of destroying the US, one transaction at a time?
One could ask the question about the cheap ped crook in the whitehouse.
Hopefully dep will wake up to the corrupt ideology he has been enthrall to. Either way i hope he wins; her transparent acting on the stand is as nauseating as this scheme.

I’ve been watching this trial closely. It seems to me Heard is the
abuser, not Depp. I hope her acting career is dead as a doornail.

In 1937, during a violent strike by the Steelworkers Organizing Committee at Bethlehem Steel in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, the Mayor of Johnstown asked President Roosevelt to intervene.
FDR's response to the union and the company was, "A plague on both your houses."
I thought of FDR when I watched some of the trial.

Know a person by their friends. ACLU and Wash ComPost are both bad news, always, so this Heard woman is likely a really rotten person, too.
Apparently Depp is pretty much a mess, but sounds like she's a really rotten gold digger.

Johnny Depp is a fellow Kentuckian and I think he's a wonderful, if idiosyncratic actor. I believe him. I wish he could get some good roles that would suit him.

Five will get you ten the same coordinated approach occurred when Meghan Markle had an "op-ed" in the New York Slimes, under a "title" she had no right to use. That sad excuse for a person can only babble in word salads, and has consistently plagiarized the work of others, so when I heard her "op-ed" was published, I knew immediately, it was a political stunt via Sunshine Sachs, Soros, etc., since Markle can't speak to save her life.

Not that I really care about Depp v. Heard, but it is clear that Heard hasn't enough intelligence tp write a shopping list, let alone an op ed on Depp. And, to answer the author's stupid question why WaPo and ACLU aren't co-defenders,...they aren't being divorced by Depp and trying to reach a marital settlement of property.

Johnny needs to SUE the ACLU (American Communist Losers Union) and the WaPOO.

I haven't had time to pay any real attention to this circus, but from what I can tell Johnny Depp has a good case. And it's no surprise that WaPo and the ACLU are on the wrong side.
