Not one inch. The GOP better not give up one single inch on gun freedom. The Democrats are giddy. They were hoping that SCOTUS putting the kibosh on kid killing was going to save them from annihilation in November. That did not work – Americans were less interested in preserving a non-existent right to snuff out a life two minutes from crowning than in $6 gas. But this s*****g’s murder rampage in Texas has given them new hope, they think. All the GOP has to do is be spineless and stupid. So, they’re feeling pretty confident.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's (D-CA) husband, Paul Pelosi, was arrested late Saturday night for driving under the influence.
Paul Pelosi, 82, was booked in Napa County, California, for one count of driving under the influence and driving with a blood alcohol content level of 0.08 or higher, according to a booking record first reported by TMZ.
"The Speaker will not be commenting on this private matter which occurred while she was on the East Coast,” Drew Hammill, a spokesman for Speaker Pelosi, told the Washington Examiner.
Gov. Ron DeSantis should be all smiles this year. On Saturday, White Sox manager Tony La Russa said that voicing objections at a time for honoring the flag and anthem was “not appropriate.”
“I think he’s exactly right to be concerned … with what’s happening in our country. He’s right there,” Chicago White Sox manager Tony La Russa said of Kapler, according to ESPN.
It’s hard to know which senator from Massachusetts is worse, Elizabeth Warren or Ed Markey, who recently called the Supreme Court illegitimate and called for packing the court.

A woman with a concealed handgun stopped a mass shooting this week after a man attacked a graduation party in Charleston, West Virginia.
"Police said a woman who was lawfully carrying a pistol shot and killed a man who began shooting at a crowd of people Wednesday night in Charleston," location Fox 11 reported about the incident. "Dennis Butler was killed after allegedly shooting at dozens of people attending a graduation party Wednesday near the Vista View Apartment complex. No injuries were reported from those at the party. Investigators said Butler was warned about speeding in the area with children present before he left.

Reuters described the president’s action as a win for the corn lobby, but all others appear to be losers.
Shortcomings of ethanol as an alternative to gasoline have been reported continually since at least 2007 when the U.S. government expanded its requirement that distributors blend ethanol with fuels to reduce dependence on foreign oil. Nancy Pelosi is in serious trouble. And not the kind of trouble associated with such petty, earthly concerns like her party losing its majority in a humiliating and historic fashion this coming November. And with that loss, her loss of the speakership for the second time in a dozen years.
No, Nancy Pelosi has some serious trouble with the disposition of her soul. And she needs our prayers, even if she doesn't believe it herself.
Last week, her Archbishop, the aptly named Salvatore Cordileone, notified Pelosi that she should no longer present herself for the Holy Eucharist when attending Mass.
