Not one inch.
The GOP better not give up one single inch on gun freedom.
The Democrats are giddy. They were hoping that SCOTUS putting the kibosh on kid killing was going to save them from annihilation in November. That did not work – Americans were less interested in preserving a non-existent right to snuff out a life two minutes from crowning than in $6 gas. But this s*****g’s murder rampage in Texas has given them new hope, they think. All the GOP has to do is be spineless and stupid.
So, they’re feeling pretty confident.

Mitch McConnell and those 5 Senators that always stand behind him will betray. And McConnell will be the Senate leader after the mid-terms. I am frustrated that Rino's seem to have 9 lives. Gov Abbott is a weakling, and I set up to vote against him in the primary, but had to vote for him, because the other candidates were lunatics, and I think the establishment stuck them on the ballot on purpose.

Wyoming Senator John Barrasso, who stands behind McConnell, won’t vote for gun control. Nor will Cornyn. This is lip service. A gun control bill has no chance this late in an election year.

The #2A protects all the other amendments, and protects us, the citizens from you, the overbearing Government. So, Cocaine Mitch, what part of "Shall not be infringed" do you not understand?

Gun control is a typical knee jerk solution that democrats salivate over passing. They don’t care about life saving. If they did their cities would not look like war zones and criminals would not be released right back on the street after a violent crime. They can’t have it both ways. So we give up our guns and they defund the police meaning that any protection from crime has now been effectively eliminated. What does that world look like? It would be a Mad Max existence without any means of protecting yourself. It would be survival of the fittest.
The same leftist idiots demand gun control while they are protected by personal security who carry guns. Their shrieking and wailing is a result of them not being able to think rationally. They run on emotion and clarity of thought to think through the consequences of what they so desperately demand is non-existent. Once again, we are expected to have a debate with individuals who are incapable of critical thought with only their unhinged zealotry to guide them. It is like having a discussion with the mentally ill. You know there will be no cogent argument and it will end in an emotional and very likely violent outburst.
Mitch McConnell is a fool if he believes he can work with these democrats. They will not relent on what they want and he will not be able to persuade them to consider another viewpoint assuming he would want to. The vast majority of Republicans will not give up their God given right of self-defense. McConnell is a political animal and the only thing that moves him is what benefits him politically. He has to be smart enough to realize that the base is totally against this. While he understands this and is still willing to defy his constituents is a clear indicator of his willingness to betray the very people who put him in office because he knows he will always have China to grease his soft greasy palms.

Don't judge all republicans by McConnell...Senators have 6 year terms ...which is wayyyyy toooo long.... sooooo they are cocky, ignore real problems & self absorbed. Why did the founders give senators longer terms than the president???

I'm sure they are shaking in their boots.
McConnell's Chinese owners will certainly make up for his bribe money shortfall, as well as the other sell out Republicans. We've seen it too many times for it to be coincidence. The republicans want to lose. They try to lose. Even when they win they act like losers and sell out to the communists at every opportunity. They refuse to govern and usually give the communists whatever they want.
No matter who wins the mid terms, we lose.

Let's not throw out the baby with the bath water. Not all Republicans think stricter guns laws is the answer. It's the leadership that needs to be kicked out. McConnell does not speak for the majority, and it's high time seniority to lead is eliminated.

Republicans who betray us will lose more than their future elections. The 2nd Amendment is a critical right for which to fight and this latest gun-grabbing campaign will eventually come down to war. This government will not give up its lunacy so we must take the solution that the Constitution advises us that we must take to save ourselves and our future. Mitch McConnell is going to lose his final battle and RINOs will become an extinct species.

Republicans passed an "assault rifle" ban in the '80s and that lost an election for them.
And buy the way, gun crime did not go down because of that.

All you have to do is ask yourself, "What does China want?" That's the wind direction that Mitch moves with. When China invades do you want them to find a gun behind every tree or willing future slaves who raise their hands in surrender?

Send this article to your republican electeds. They need to understand that the 2nd Amendment is just as important as any other. Below is what I sent mine.

McConnell is a despicable swamp rat but, I think, no fool. I'm hoping he is feigning cooperation with the Democrats/communists so he can slow walk any proposals and wait for the Uvalde heat to cool when the next "crisis " inevitably appears.
But I could be wrong. McConnell may be a despicable swamp rat AND a fool.

The dems and the rino establishment have shown you their tyrannical bent.
Do not give one inch on gun rights. Those shall not be infringed.
Betray the citizens of this country and you just might provoke the very outcomes that you fear most.
