On Tuesday evening, President Joe Biden delivered remarks on the elementary school shooting in Uvalde, Texas. As of the time of Biden’s comments, 18 children in grades 2-4 are confirmed dead. In addition, a teacher at the school is deceased, along with the shooter and possibly his grandmother. Details are still emerging, with CBS News reporting that the suspect began shooting at random when he entered Robb Elementary School with a long rifle and also shot at responding officers. Biden spoke at the White House podium, after his return from Japan, and appeared somber and soft-spoken with first lady Jill Biden at his side. He began by offering condolences and speaking

Quid Pro Joe's solution is to "Stand Up to the Gun Lobby." With the defunding of the police, out of control street crime, riots by thugs BLM and ANTIFA , etc. every American needs all the guns they can get. I'm considering either barbed wire around my hovel or a moat with gators.

I would claim, with some reason, that Democrats are damned vultures, circling around and waiting for the corpses to pile up. Except... They don't wait for the corpses. 90% of the deaths from mass shootings where cause can be assigned at all, are caused by liberals. I contend it is worse that that. Especially in students, they are at the mercy of the Agenda and propaganda fed to them by their teachers and schools psychologists. Up until parents began waking up to what's happening, everyone thought the schools were doing their best to protect and preserve our youngsters in their care. But as we've seen, that is hardly the case. The propagandize and brainwash. they warn the students, "Don't tell your parents!" they often instigate shaming of students who refuse to follow their lead. If anything, it is surprising so few youngsters have broken and turned to violence. This nonsense really started back when I was a kid. (I'm turning 65). I went to elementary school where no looked twice a 12 year olds bringing their guns on the bus. They'd turn them in to the Principle's office, along with their ammunition and walk home after school doing small game hunting. we didn't have any incidents until 7th grade, where some of the kids were buying into the more licentious life Liberals presented as their "Right" and began organizing gangs to protect one another's "girls". or Drugs, or arguments about patriotism and the Vietnam War. That's when it started to go to hell. And teachers led the way, organizing their students to complain at their parents about everything their parents had grown up believing! Patriotism, God and Country, Honor and Justice... And they shamed those who refused to rebel. Oh, yes, I know who has been behind the violence. It's Liberals - Communists, really, who won't permit anyone to have an idea that contradicts their philosophy.

So the senile meat puppet ranted about the tragedy using speculation and incomplete information. Nobody knows why it happened, just that it did. The only one to blame right now is the shooter. The scope of this tragedy was just too tempting for any Democrat to pass up politicizing it.

Bravo #8 - I grew up at the same time. I'm 68. The TV news was nothing but violence; college student riots, anti-war marches/riots and race riots. Even as a twelve-year-old I wondered why the university presidents didn't have the police clear out the sit-ins in their offices and expel the students. After all that has been revealed to us since Obama, I realize the college presidents were all in with the Cloward-Piven ideology. Folks like to blame the Baby Boomers for this mess. We were just kids swamped with propaganda in our schools and on the TV pumped out by the likes of Walter Cronkite and the above mentioned university admin and faculty. The commies infiltrated our government with FDR, and probably really beginning with Wilson. We Baby Boomers were the first generation subjected to the widespread and coordinated effort to bring down the United States no matter how long it took.

We’re all still wondering why police in Uvalde, Texas didn’t storm the classroom and kill the gunman given that active-shooter training indicates that’s what should happen. Also this week there’s a video circulating on Twitter which has me wondering almost the same thing. Why did no one act? A viral video on social media shows a woman being assaulted on a New York City subway train as bystanders keep a safe distance away from the scene. The video shows an individual acting out on the subway. As other passengers move away, the individual pulls one passenger down onto a seat by her hair. The passenger can be seen mouthing, “Somebody help me,”

Things have been pretty bleak and heartbreaking of late, so here’s some good news. “Top Gun: Maverick” has been lighting up movie screens and — based on my own personal social media observations — is routinely inspiring clapping and cheering from American audiences. And that’s not even the best part. The second installment of the 1986 Tom Crusie classic is achieving its success without the help of a formerly very vocal Chinese investor, internet and tech giant Tencent. Remember the flight jacket, scrubbed in the 2019 trailer of certain flags to appease Chinese censors? My how things have changed. Now NBC has published a story with a small but significant update to what the Times reported earlier. It turns out the BORTAC agents who killed Ramos were never told to go inside. Instead,

One of the questions being mulled over yesterday was how the shooter so easily gained access to the school. Robb Elementary didn’t have the same “hardening” efforts, including a buzz-in security vestibule, that the Uvalde high school had. But there was supposedly a security plan that included keeping doors to the school locked from the outside. A short time ago Texas DPS director Steven McGraw gave a timeline of the incident which revealed a teacher had propped open that door moments before the shooter arrived. “We know from video evidence at 11:27 the exterior door…where we knew the shooter entered, was propped open by

Addressing the mass-shooting that claimed 21 lives in Uvalde, Texas, on Tuesday, Department of Public Safety Director Steven McGraw acknowledged Friday that responding officers waited too long to breach the classroom where the killing took place. Speaking to reporters at a press conference held at the scene of the shooting, McGraw said that the on-scene incident commander, Chief of Police Daniel Rodriguez, made the decision to fall back and wait for U.S. Border Patrol Tactical Teams to breach the classroom. McGraw said the decision to delay entering the classroom was mistaken. According to Texas active shooter doctrine, officers are required to make an immediate breach

The majority of voters believe gun violence will increase during President Joe Biden’s tenure, a Politico/Morning Consult poll found Thursday. When respondents were asked whether they believed “there will be more, fewer, or the same amount of incidence [sic] of gun violence” in the “next few years,” 54 percent said there would be more gun violence during that time, which would be during Biden’s presidency. Thirty-four percent said gun violence would remain about the same. Only five percent said they believed gun violence would decrease in the next few years.

Vladimir Lenin supposedly once said, “The way to crush the bourgeoisie is to grind them between the millstones of taxation and inflation.” There’s some doubt as to whether this line is genuine; regardless, it seems like a pretty good description of what the Biden administration is doing to Ameri ca’s middle class. Inflation is running rampant. The Producer Price Index, the most useful measure of general inflation, is up a whopping 16.3% from April 2021, per the Bureau of Labor Statistics. That means that roughly $1 out of every $6 that people earn has been lost to inflation in a single year.

Feels like we have a full-blown scandal in the making here. Bad enough for the cops not to intervene while frantic parents begged them to go in. But to actually punish them, however briefly, for pleading for their children’s lives? I’m trying to picture the scene outside the building at the next school shooting. (And the one after that, and the one after that, and the one after that….) How many parents will bring guns with them and race for the school’s entrance before the cops can stop them?
