Migrant encounters at the southern border hit a record high in April, according to new filings from the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Fox News’ Bill Melugin reported. The record-setting month comes as President Joe Biden looks to end Title 42, a Trump-era policy allowing Border Patrol to turn away migrants at the border due to the COVID-19 pandemic. “BREAKING: There were 234,088 migrants encountered at the Southern border in April, per a DHS court filing today. That’s the highest number in DHS history,”

If Biden keeps or dumps Title 42 does not mean much to the average poor and uneducated illegal alien, who believes that he or she has been encouraged and invited by Biden and the Democrats to unlawfully enter the USA. Who have already traveled from long distances from their home countries around the world to the vicinity of the US borderline, intending to unlawfully enter the USA and stay, in accordance with Biden’s and the Democrats “open borders” and non-enforcement of U.S. immigration laws agendas and policies, that are now well known to intending illegal aliens around the world. Those intending illegal aliens now traveling to the US borderline and those already there are not about to just turn around and go back home.

Are these "migrants" being met at the border by DNC operatives and given mail in ballots with instructions? Is this the left's plan to avoid an election bloodbath in November?

The cold facts are that the financial elite are strongly backing the Biden's illegal flooding of the US labor market as a means to drive down wages and curb wage inflation. The people who will pay for this are most black and legal Hispanic middle-class workers who work in construction, auto services, hospitality, medical services, and agriculture. The Democrats open border policy is forcing entire minority communities to work for slave labor wages or turn to the black-market cash economy to survive. Yet, they continue to vote for them year after year. I don't get it.

They really are trying to overwhelm the entire country with tens of millions of ADDITIONAL illegal aliens. At what point is defending our country with force going to be the right answer?

Why do the border states allow this massive trespassing into their states? TX & AZ should be able to stop the flow of illegals coming into their states. CA & NM are another story. Why doesn't TX & AZ petition the Gov't to provide the necessary funding for them to build walls, concertina wire and other physical barriers to stop the flow of illegals trespassing into their states? I understand the Feds are chartered to administer immigration laws, but I believe a state can arrest a illegal for trespassing. Maybe they to do a gofundme type approach. Every state has become a border state under Biden.

The Republic of Texas approaches. Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Nebraska, S Dakota, N Dakota, Montana, Alberta (Canada), Saskatchewan (Canada), Manitoba (Canada), and a few states along the sides. Let's go EAST. Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Florida. We have every shipping port in The Gulf of Mexico and half the Atlantic and more oil than the Saudis ever dreamed of. California and New York can print their own money. If they want to trade they can use Panama. We WILL protect our borders ,north, south, east, and west. If you're coming to visit Texas bring your US passport with the pre-approved visitor's visa.

Someone is a little late to the ballgame. All the things suggested by #5 have already been tried or are in progress. The biggest problem is leftists judges on every level doing anything they need to along with the National leftist government fighting us to shut our states efforts down. I am not saying these are bad ideas, I think they are good and should be legal. Unfortunately, I also don't see anything new.

Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis President James Bullard said that high readings on inflation still concern central bank officials, reinforcing the need for higher interest rates. “Inflation is broader and more persistent than many have thought and the Fed will have to act in order to keep inflation under control and we’ve got a plan in place,” Bullard told Yahoo Finance in an exclusive interview on Wednesday. The Bureau of Labor Statistics reported Wednesday morning that prices in the United States rose by 8.3% between April of this year and April of last year.

Forty years ago we had a soaring inflation rate, obscene gas prices and interest rates in the teens. Today, thanks to their incredible incompetence, bad policies and serial stupidity, the Democrats in Washington are bringing back all those problems. It’s getting so bad, I’m actually beginning to think Jimmy Carter was not such a bad president after all. People under 40 have no idea how bad things were in the late 1970s under Carter. They’ve grown up knowing only 3 percent interest rates, dirt cheap gasoline and 2 percent inflation. They don’t know how miserable things were under Carter or how miserable they can get again under Biden.

It's tempting for Americans to get smug about the sinking of the Moskva, the Russian Navy's flagship in the Black Sea. Whether it was destroyed by Ukrainians or — less plausibly — sunk because of a non-combat onboard explosion of ammunition, the result is both a humiliation and a setback for Vladimir Putin's war efforts. If you're cheering Ukraine's defenders, it's hard not to take some satisfaction in that. But America's fleet might also be more vulnerable than you think.

Citing the threat posed by "authoritarian regimes" as well as "internal threats from proponents of illiberalism," the resolution calls on the Biden administration to uphold NATO's "founding democratic principles." Republicans have long had a toughness fetish. Going back to the early days of the Cold War, its flip side has been the insinuation that Democrats are weaklings ready to sell out the country to its enemies, with the GOP eager to serve proudly and unapologetically as America's lone defenders abroad. No one should be surprised that the script has already been updated to account for recent distressing events on the border separating Russia and Ukraine.

Democrats are also considering legislation that would give the federal government more control over the supply and distribution of formula, particularly when shortages arise. The plan would require formula companies to report inventory to the Food and Drug Administration, which could then move supplies from one state to another to fill empty shelves.
