Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan planning trips
to Iowa, New Hampshire amid presidential
bid speculation

Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan is planning trips to Iowa and New Hampshire. Rep. Adam Kinzinger, R-Ill., is considering a rough timeline for a potential presidential announcement. And allies of Rep. Liz Cheney, R-Wyo., are openly talking up her White House prospects. More than two years before the next presidential election, a shadow primary is already beginning to take shape among at least three fierce Republican critics of former President Donald Trump to determine who is best positioned to occupy the anti-Trump lane in 2024.

Comments:

Larry Hogan would be better positioned to run as a Democrat. He was once considered "conservative" by Maryland standards. He is a waffling weasel, a backroom participant in the Baltimore unrest a few years ago with Malik Shabazz, (disgraced) Glam-mayor Rawlings-Blake and (indicted) States Attorney Marilyn Mosby.

Hogan is as much of a Republican as Maryland can take and still be called a Republican and get elected. Not all of Maryland is left wing bat s crazy, but Maryland is a small state, and it doesn't take much for the urban part to override the part that has common sense.

Liberal "Republicans" like Hogan are exactly what the DEMs would love to see the GOP stupidly nominate. In the primary he may attempt to fool voters into thinking he has the same values they hold. No sale! No one buys a product from a salesman who doesn't like his own product. It would be a replay of the nonsense of Romney claiming to be "severely conservative." Hogan may be about the sort of weak leftist Republican that could win in the People's Republic of Maryland, but no way does Dem-lite sell nationally.

Establishment RINO plan to split the vote. You can bet he'll show up at a primary debate and be the one pushing J6, 14th amendment ineligibility, Russia etc. Bearer of the bad news to cast doubt on those older Republican voters who don't like public conflict (mean tweets). What I cannot understand, is how is the destruction of America by JoeHo is ok but going back to Trump and mean tweets and public confrontation is Not ok? I have older neighbors who dread Trump running again because they are concerned that we'll go back to the same old daily bickering, because they don't understand that Republican politics as usual are LOSING politics. They want a Republican candidate who is more Presidential. They don't think this is any different than the old Democrat Republican back and forth they have seen during their lifetimes. They don't see the dogfight for America we are fighting right now. MAGA people need to get out there and educate these older voters on why we have to fight every day - no more old school nice Republica politics!

Larry Hogan is a RINO Supreme. And he’s got the credentials to prove it. Maryland is one of the most liberal, bluest states in the country. It’s right there with Massachusetts. It changed from a politically neutral state over the years to a Democrat swamp, just like Northern Virginia did, as the Federal government spread its corrupt bureaucracy into those states. The heart of Maryland sits next to DC. The Wealthy Montgomery County, the Democrat cash cow, funds the Left’s Agenda in the State. Prince Georges County also sits there, became a Democrat stronghold as DC citizens emigrated from the lawless city. As the masses concentrated in PG county, it became the larges black county in the country. Next up is liberal Howard County which sits between Washington DC and Baltimore and polls heavily (I wonder why?) Democrat. Then there is Baltimore County, massively Democrat. And then there is Baltimore City, murder capital of the USA—Democrat. Maybe Larry Is Sampling Things For A Presidential Run, As A Democrat!!!

Berlin says it can deliver the first Gepard tanks in July. That's too slow, a Ukrainian parliamentarian said on Tuesday, as Russian forces launched an assault on the country's east. "For us, July is like, 'what?'" Anastasia Radina, a member of the Ukrainian parliament, told Reuters at the World Economic Forum.

Millions of Americans rely on the federal government to cover the cost of college. Education loans have existed for generations, but borrowing only really took off in the past two decades. Soaring college costs, higher enrollment, changes to the federal lending system, labor market demand for credentials and paltry wage growth have all contributed to the $1.6 trillion in outstanding federal student debt. This does not include debt originated in the private market.

Forty years ago we had a soaring inflation rate, obscene gas prices and interest rates in the teens. Today, thanks to their incredible incompetence, bad policies and serial stupidity, the Democrats in Washington are bringing back all those problems. It’s getting so bad, I’m actually beginning to think Jimmy Carter was not such a bad president after all. People under 40 have no idea how bad things were in the late 1970s under Carter. They’ve grown up knowing only 3 percent interest rates, dirt cheap gasoline and 2 percent inflation. They don’t know how miserable things were under Carter or how miserable they can get again under Biden.

It's tempting for Americans to get smug about the sinking of the Moskva, the Russian Navy's flagship in the Black Sea. Whether it was destroyed by Ukrainians or — less plausibly — sunk because of a non-combat onboard explosion of ammunition, the result is both a humiliation and a setback for Vladimir Putin's war efforts. If you're cheering Ukraine's defenders, it's hard not to take some satisfaction in that. But America's fleet might also be more vulnerable than you think.
