Twitter is not in business to make a profit or to give people free speech, but to do “something that’s good for the planet,” a company employee can be heard saying in a secretly recorded video.
The new undercover footage from Project Veritas features Lead Client Partner Alex Martinez discussing the company’s authoritarian views on speech, and denigrating Tesla CEO Elon Musk as a “loony toon” with “special needs.” (snip) “Right now, we don’t make profit,” he noted, explaining that the company’s liberal ideology “led us into not being profitable.”

They want to make sure people know how to think correctly. Quoting this fascist puke:
"People don’t know how to make a rational decision if you don’t put out—correct things that are supposed to be out in the public"
And, of course, these damned communist thugs know what the "correct things" are that are "supposed to be out in public". None of that crazy right wing stuff, of course, like the Constitution, and just people saying whatever they want to say. Can't have that, can we?
/s off
These people deserve a year in prison to take some time to grasp the evil of their ways.

“We don’t make profits?”
I think Twitter’s investors have other ideas about that. I wouldn’t want this baby Marxist running the show just to do “something good for the planet!” Geesh! How clichéd is that?!

Twitter just got busted by its own petard. Musk should ruin it should he ever take control. That is, if he can ever get past Twitter's lying statements to the SEC. I utterly despise communist demonrats.

This is very funny. This twit is exercising his right to free speech. He thinks the company's censorship is "a way to correct people who “don’t know how to make a rational decision.”" This is effectively implemented by censoring anyone who says things they disagree with. The twits consider themselves the "Gods of Good Thinking".
The problem for the twits is that a lot of their "Good Thinking" turns out to be wrong and even damaging. It is only after vigorous and open discussion that this has been discovered, which is, of course, the purpose of free speech to begin with.
Authoritarian twits think they are the good guys. “The rest of us who have been here believe in something that’s good for the planet". The problem they face is that they and their ilk have repeatedly been proven wrong and "bad" has been done instead, something they are loath to face and refuse to admit. Gods have trouble thinking they are wrong about anything.
Further, their "Good Thinking" is, at its nature, an open door to abuse and error. Quis custodiet ipsos custodes? The American answer is free thinking individuals who can elect the representatives they want to various levels of government. That ability to freely choose is enshrined in a founding document, the Constitution. That document is subject to change by a majority of the same free people after vigorous and uncensored debate.
There are many examples of failed governments lead by "Gods of Good Thinking", i.e. dictators. The twits should exercise "Good Thinking" and learn from history.

Sorry, I can’t really come up with an appropriate comment without Lucianne blocking it and I would agree it should be blocked. Otherwise, I have to ask if this arrogant moron has ever created or built anything like SpaceX or Tesla or even done anything to better mankind? The answer is NO. So who put him in charge of how everyone else has to live their lives and what the can say and believe?

This insufferable arrogance has existed for a long time - in the halls of academia, editorial rooms of media outlets, entertainment industry, political parties. . 0bama was the one of the first of these scurrilous vermin to openly exhibit it with impunity. Now they are out in the open and it is common place.

Good luck getting a paycheck from Elon! I bet this leftist figures out WHY money is necessary, and once he figures it out, do you think he will believe that he is a greedy American?

Twitter sacrificing profit because of ideology...this is nothing new. CNN has been doing this for years because low ratings mean fewer advertisers and therefore less income and return to shareholders. Other big MSM companies have the same problem but tricks in accounting hide broader financial drawbacks.

He's right about one thing: his ideas will never drive him to make a profit. This is not an elitist, he's a parasite. Suck wealth that he has not produced and brag about it. What's in the water for these people?
