Video footage shows a Ukrainian bomb disposal team casually removing a missile which crashed through the roof of a Ukrainian house.
The massive rocket landed in a residential area of Kharkiv, Ukraine’s second largest city, today. The unlucky houseowner will have been relieved to find out that their damaged ceiling and kitchen counter is all that was damaged when it struck the property. This footage shows the Russian ordnance sticking out of a man's kitchen sink, while several members of a bomb disposal crew inspect and fiddle with the device. The made give the device a good shake, possibly to see if it will come unstuck.
On Sunday, the Russian Defense Ministry issued an ultimatum to the Ukrainian garrison defending Mariupol.
“Lay down your arms,” Colonel-General Mikhail Mizintsev, the director of the Russian National Center for Defense Management, said in a briefing distributed by the defence ministry.
“A terrible humanitarian catastrophe has developed,” Mizintsev said. “All who lay down their arms are guaranteed safe passage out of Mariupol.”
The deadline is 5 a.m. Monday, Moscow time, or 10 p.m. Sunday Eastern Daylight Time.
With about two hours remaining to the deadline, the defenders of Mariupol rejected the demand. This sets the stage for the largest siege of a city since World War II.

Justice Clarence Thomas has been hospitalized after experiencing flu-like symptoms, the Supreme Court announced in a statement.
On Friday evening, Thomas, 73, was admitted to Sibley Memorial Hospital in Washington, D.C., and has since been diagnosed with an infection, Supreme Court spokeswoman Patricia McCabe said.
According to McCabe, Thomas’s symptoms are abating and he is resting comfortably.
Thomas is expected to be released from the hospital in a day or two, and will “participate in the consideration and discussion of any cases for which he is not present on the basis of the briefs, transcripts, and audio of the oral arguments.”

A coroner in the United Kingdom has determined that a woman died from a side effect caused by the AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine.
The woman was identified as 34-year-old Kim Lockwood, who had complained of a headache eight days after taking the shot in March of 2021, South Yorkshire Coroner Nicola Mundy told the BBC in a statement on March 16.
The coroner said her condition quickly deteriorated, and she was pronounced dead 17 hours after being admitted to the hospital, eight days after getting the shot.

Ukraine’s Ministry of Defense on Sunday claimed that Belarus is preparing its military to invade Ukraine before warning Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko, an ally of Russian President Vladimir Putin.

“I’ve never been so excited about gas in my life,” said GOP activist Scott Presler.
Presler sent dozens of volunteers to gas stations across the city and Long Island on Saturday to sign up new voters ahead of November’s midterm elections — and to convince registered Democrats to switch parties.
The effort comes amid an incredible price surge at the pump — $4.78 a gallon in Manhattan on Friday, up from $2.99 a year ago — that has motorists casting blame on President Joe Biden.
Inflation continues to slam the American people in ways not seen in over 40 years following the Jimmy Carter administration. Aerorozvidka (Aerial Reconnaissance) is being used to attack Russian drones and target Vladmir Putin's army of tanks and track down their positions in the conflict, which has been ongoing since February 24, according to The Telegraph. At the start of the second half of an NCAA Women’s Tournament game, sportscasters Carolyn Peck and Courtney Lyle took a break from describing the game to preach at viewers about politics.
“Normally at this time, we would take a look back at the first half,” began Lyle. “But there are things bigger than basketball that need to be addressed at this time. Our friends, our family, our co-workers, the players and coaches in our community are hurting right now,” she claimed.

You probably shouldn’t write while pizzed off, but I don’t really have the luxury to wait. I also doubt there will be any time before my deadline when these complete jackarses on the left aren’t doing something so worthless I wouldn’t revel in seeing them dive into a swimming pool only to discover there’s no water in it. They’ve turned me, and I’d guess one hell of a lot of other people, into people who literally can’t stand anything they’re pushing.
I honestly couldn’t care less about someone’s sexuality, never really gave a damn about it. As such, I have a lot of friends who happen to be gay.

Christopher Olivarez said that “we thought last year was complete chaos” on the border, but “this year’s going to be catastrophic.” And that “we have the most unsecured border that we have seen in decades.”
Olivarez said, “[A]t this time, right now, we have the most unsecured border that we have seen in decades. … Last year, for fiscal year 2021, between the months of February through October, there were over 397,000 encounters. Now this year alone, fiscal year 2022, same timeframe, five months, from October through February, over 837,000 encounters.
The news keeps getting worse for Democrats as their midterm prospects continue to dim.
The Republican Party is united, excited, and out for blood. Democrats are in disarray — ambivalent about their party leader, unable to find a winning issue, and anticipating defeat.
The Rassmussen generic congressional ballot of Republicans versus Democrats for the midterm election shows Republicans winning 50-39 percent. The February Rassmussen generic congressional ballot had the GOP up 50-37 percent.
The two-point bump in support of Democrats is insignificant when you consider that the GOP is winning in most age groups and most income groups. And the GOP is clobbering the Democrats among independent voters.
