The National Women's Law Center has been blasted for dismissing critics of controversial transgender swimmer Lia Thomas as 'misogynists.' In a tweet published Friday, the non-profit wrote: 'Lia Thomas deserves all the celebration for her success this season, but instead is being met with nationwide misogyny and transphobia. Lia, we need people like you. Not only as a swimmer, but to inspire women athletes—cis and trans—everywhere.'(Snip)On the National Women's Law Center website, it boasts of how it 'uses all of the tools at our disposal to push gender justice forward.' #1, most importantly, he has the DNA of a man in every cell in his body!!! He can have all the disfiguring plastic surgery he wants, take all the dangerous levels of hormones and steroids on a daily basis that he wants, and pretend he is a woman till the cows come home, but he will always have male DNA!!!! Biology 101: If a human has XY chromosomes, he is a male!!! Period!!!

With this state of affairs, I don't see how misogyny could be a thing anymore. Men can be women, women can be men, basically there is no difference. So if a dude wants to get into fisticuffs with a girl, everything's fair game, right?

I am so sorry but I'm so suspicious of Lia. If you want to trans to being a woman, I'm ok with that. But if you're faking it to win in swimming, I'm not ok with that. Now I read that you want to make the women's swim team for the Olympics. I'm not ok with that. Just you're build and muscles make you illegible to compete with women. It's just not fair to them. They've worked so hard to get where they are and you come along and wipe it all out. That's just not right, nor fair. Be a women but don't compete against women.

I predict in the very near future...every track, swimming, and weight-lifting coach will demand a tranny freak on their team to bolster their teams winning percentage and help the team win. Because as we all know...winning is everything and to hell with everybody else especially people that call themselves real women.

In 2019, Mr. Thomas both swam as a man with modest success and declared himself to be a woman. Instantly he became the best swimmer on the women's team and in the Ivy League in those events he'd previously entered before his transition declaration. He looks like a man, still has his masculine musculature and body build, and retains all the advantages of being a male swimmer. He has no business competing against women - they for the most part haven't a chance competing against him. Women have foolishly allied themselves with transgenderism and hurt themselves in the process. Feminism as a political force has historically legitimate goals such as workplace and Title 9 fairness but it is a false premise that such goals require the alliance with LBTQ. Young women - real women - have only been hurt by allowing Mr. Thomas to compete as a 'woman'. He is not their teammate. He is a pretender to the throne.

Mr. Thomas has proven that a third rate male is likely to defeat any first rate female in a competitive sport. Excuse me, who didn't know that? He should be congratulated for having found a way to win the gold he could NEVER have won as a male competitor. He made the system work for him. I would say "let's fix the system", but who cares anymore? If the first rate women were dumb enough to accept a man in their pool and their locker room, then there's no saving them. This is like a Monty Python skit. The level of absurdity is simply unfathomable.

No one should forget that when Elizabeth Warren claimed to be American Indian (and may have believed it was true) her DNA results put an end to the false claims. It made no difference that she "thought" she was American Indian. Allowing mediocre male athletes to claim female gender in athletic competitions is no more scientific than Sen. Warren "thinking" she was American Indian. It's also an unearned privilege, granted by politicians.

One poster mentioned the Riggs affair. After Riggs beat Margaret Court the producers saw another money opportunity to pit him against Billie Jean King. After great fanfare, she won but both later hinted that it was more or less a set-up. Any knowledgeable sports fan knows that any good, male, country club tennis pro can beat the best females on the circuit. Right now, this only affects the amateur world but wait until some good male golfer comes out of college and does this. He will clean up on the LPGA Tour. Now it’s real money and the screaming from the lady pros will be heard on the moon.

Keep it up. Force this down everyone's throat. Now every girl must decide which side of the political storm they are on. The Right where they can be valued and supported as a woman, or the left where they are told they must be a non sexual person who is assigned whatever role their political leaders give them, as in cheering for a man who takes their place in society. Let's see...most posters hate the outcome because Thomas is a man. Okay. They ignore that (s)he participated within the rules, but he's a "cheater". But here is the other thing most ignore in their haste: Thomas demonstrates how ridiculous this all is. (S)He ought to be a hero of sorts, like Bobby Riggs defeated Margaret Court back when. Thomas clearly demonstrates the physical advantage males have over females - it's not talent. And if the ladies are sore, they brought this upon themselves demanding EQUALITY. Well, here's your equality. Frankly, I'd love to see women's sports, particularly the professional versions and Olympics, overrun by trannies and biologial freaks. I want Meagan Rapinoe relegated to play in some muni rec soccer league because some womyn was better. Folks are missing the larger point. Women are given every break there is, from education to professional training to even locking up certain professions for the sisterhood for themselves. Men are checking out largely because they cannot compete in that great game of Life, as evidenced by such as large college attendance and admissions drops. Why bother if the "special programs" will admit anyone but a white, straight male? And here we are, while women are being recruited as special forces operators, first responders, and STEM professionals under lesser standards than their male counterparts, Lia Thomas demonstrates the absurdity. We ought to be embracing this. Cheering on our misguided sons in pursuing their passions, etc. Ridicule is the most powerful weapon. We can all agree Thomas's wins are a joke...and it's a punk joke on all the right people.

The Securities and Exchange Commission unveiled a landmark proposal Monday that would require publicly traded companies to disclose emissions data and risks posed by climate change. The proposal, which must undergo a 60-day public comment period before the SEC makes it final, would be a first of its kind and mark yet another arena where the Biden administration hopes to combat a warming climate. It also underscores the administration’s concerns about climate change’s potential impacts on the economy. The idea faced immediate pushback from Republican lawmakers and industry groups. They said the regulators had overstepped their authority and would spread confusion through corporate offices and on Wall Street.
