Imagining that sports fans agree kindergarteners should be taught about exotic sexual proclivities in the classroom, several ESPN moralizers observed a “moment of silence” during live broadcasts on Friday.
At the start of the second half of an NCAA Women’s Tournament game, sportscasters Carolyn Peck and Courtney Lyle took a break from describing the game to preach at viewers about politics.
“Normally at this time, we would take a look back at the first half,” began Lyle. “But there are things bigger than basketball that need to be addressed at this time. Our friends, our family, our co-workers, the players and coaches in our community are hurting right now,” she claimed.

I try to NEVER watch ESPN ever since it foisted marxist garbage human being Keith Olberman on an unsuspecting public. I make an exception for Major Golf Competitions.

Their political views are the reason that I never watch their network. If it weren't for stories like this I wouldn't even know that they exist. I used to watch sports, not a real big fan but I watched. Between kneeling and this garbage I don't watch any longer. I want my country back. Trump 2024.

ESPN is another media that is sinking fast. Will not waste my time watching it.

One of the reasons we dropped cable is the presence of ESPN in the "package". ESPN probably couldn't exist without "cable". If you want ESPN to cease... cut the cable. We haven't had cable for about 5 years. We haven't missed much. We can stream most of what we want to see.

These two dripsores did not act on their own. ESPN management staged this event. There was nothing spontaneous. The words were scripted and displayed on a teleprompter.

Good question, OP. After thinking about it for a minute, the only thing I could come up with as more tiresome than bitter lesbians preaching to me during a women's basketball game is actually WATCHING a women's basketball game. There... I said it.

Tiresome and wrong. If we do not comply with their ideals we are shunned and evil. Celebrating a mental illness is wrong.

Ms Peck and Ms Lyle should read the legislation before commenting on it. The legislation enforces parental rights over their children and prevents Government indoctrination of children pre thru grade 3. The alphabets and news orgs are complicit with Peck and Lyle. As is Disney. It's a really f#$ked up world.

I have never been a fan of ESPN and have no reason to change. Also have completely given up on professional team sports. No more baseball, basketball or football for me.

And they wonder why they've lost millions of viewers the last three or four years. You still can't figure it out. Why? Because you're too stupid. Your viewers want to watch sports and hear the scores of games from the night before. They don't want to be lectured to. If you don't think that isn't true, put nut bag Keith Olberman
back on the air and see where your ratings go. You'll sink faster than the Titanic.

This would only happen at a woman's sporting event. Try this nonsense at a men's event and see how it takes before someone in the crowd starts booing or a FJB chant.

ESPN must have a line item on their job applications that reads, "You must be a putz to work here."
In general, I believe that adults should be permitted to do what they like but when it's in public and/or involves corrupting children, NO GO. These babes were wrong and should be fired.

First you reject God by pretending that a person's sex can be changed, then you offer a "moment of silence" because there is no God.
You are not dealing with reality well.

As most posters said, I no longer watch professional sports other than golf and that’s now down to the Masters and the two major opens. I never watch ESPN. I did watch the Braves stick a thumb in the lefts’ eyes during the World Series after they yanked the All Star game from Atlanta simply because Ga passed a law making it harder to cheat. To top that off, the UGA went on to win the National Championship in college football. FESPN.

This is a double helping of ridiculous. First, what does the LGBTetc crowd have to be "hurting about? That grade-schoolers are getting some protection from indoctrination? If so, tell me again how you're "just like us."
Second, why should the LGBSquad at Disney be hurting any more than their non-Disney equivalents? Or are they just whinier?

Is there anything more tiresome than a couple of bitter old lesbians sitting behind microphones and preaching nonsense to people who want to just watch a basketball game??
