Jussie's Just the Black Hillary

Original Article

Jussie Smollett and Hillary Clinton have a lot in common. They both faked crimes in order to achieve personal glory. They continue to cause unnecessary and bitter division by refusing to take any responsibility for their actions. And neither of them is nearly as talented in their respective professions as each believes. It's a surreal thing to watch people who walk through life with such little regard for truth or virtue that they manage to seem even more haughty and spiteful when their lies are occasionally called out.

The main thing that The Beast and The Juicy have in common - - is that neither one of them is in jail. Hopefully - - that will be remedied soon for both of them.

Great article! I hope that the judge on Smollett’s case reads this before sentencing that odious unrepentant piece of vermin excrement.

Well it seems that Jussie's being black is not enough to keep him from punishment, although it will probably be a light sentence. But old Hillary hasn't got to worry about being indicted. She is immune from the laws.

Juicy may be sentenced to a short stint in jail, just for the judge to prove he's not in the Left's pocket. But it won't be much, so we mustn't gloat. Indeed, the conviction alone will do so much damage to Juicy's career hopes, that will probably be his greatest punishment and regret. As for Hillary, she'll never live behind bars. Not because she doesn't deserve it, not because no judge would sentence her, but because no federal prosecutor would dare try to indict her. The DOJ is heavily populated by Clintonites. Even if an upstart right-wing U.S. attorney were willing to go after her, the DOJ would rein in him/her quickly, halt the investigation, and bury any evidence, ala Hunter Biden's laptop.

The only black juror in the Jussie Smollett case said he found the case “sad” and said that the actor staged an attack on himself, ABC 7 reported. Andre Hope was the only black juror in the Jussie Smollett case where Smollett was found guilty for lying to Chicago police after he staged an allegedly racist, homophobic attack on himself, ABC 7 reported. Hope said he has two sons around Smollett’s age and took no pleasure in finding the former “Empire” actor guilty despite overwhelming evidence against him.

A top adviser to Attorney General Merrick Garland is facing calls to recuse herself from the Justice Department's investigation of the Trump-Russia probe, which has looked into the actions of her husband, National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan. Margaret Goodlander serves as counsel to Garland, who oversees Special Counsel John Durham's investigation. Garland has oversight of Durham's budget, the scope of the investigation, and the release of a report Durham is believed to be writing. Sullivan, who married Goodlander in 2015, has been referenced in Durham's indictment of a cybersecurity lawyer who worked for the Clinton campaign.

The decision was one the jury struggled with, the juror said. In the end, “we all thought we were doing Jussie a favor,” said the juror, who asked not to be named.

The Supreme Court on Friday ruled that a federal lawsuit by abortion providers challenging the constitutionality of Texas’ new ban on abortions after roughly six weeks of pregnancy can proceed against some defendants even before the law is enforced against anyone. However, the Supreme Court allowed the Texas law to remain in effect during that challenge, which will proceed in a lower federal court. The ruling does not address whether a majority of the Supreme Court believes the ban is unconstitutional.

Russiagate is the biggest scandal in American history. Nothing comes close in size, scope or harm to the republic than the years-long effort to cripple Donald Trump’s presidency by claiming he conspired with an enemy state to steal the 2016 election and then do its bidding as commander-in-chief. Its notorious predecessors – L’Affaire Lewinsky, Iran-Contra, Watergate, Teapot Dome, Crédit Mobilier, the XYZ Affair – involved relatively small numbers of malefactors engaged in specific acts of illegality and corruption (we still don’t know who, if anyone, planned the Jan. 6 assault on the U.S. Capitol)

Does Justice Sonia Sotomayor even read the briefs in cases before the Supreme Court? I ask because the cases don't come any bigger than Dobbs v. Jackson Women's Health Organization, which addresses Mississippi's limit on abortion after 15 weeks. The Court is being asked to overturn the 1973 decision in Roe v. Wade and 1992 decision in Planned Parenthood v. Casey. I joined two other female physicians (a neonatologist and an obstetrician) in an amicus brief detailing advances in fetal science that have happened since 1973. During oral arguments, Justice Sotomayor displayed abysmal ignorance of the most basic scientific and medical facts about developing human life.

Everyone’s understandably focused today on how Cheney embarrassed Trump Jr and the Fox News gang by reading their texts to Trump on January 6. Ed has a nice write-up about it here. But don’t miss the forest for the trees. The point Cheney was making isn’t that Fox News hosts are hypocrites, although they are. The point is that the president’s own family and allies were pleading with him while the riot was unfolding to do something, yet he did nothing — for hours. Everyone around him treated it like an emergency. Not him. Was that a crime? Watch the end of this clip, starting at around 3:00.

Atlanta — An Associated Press review of every potential case of voter fraud in the six battleground states disputed by former President Donald Trump has found fewer than 475 — a number that would have made no difference in the 2020 presidential election. For that reason, I take particular delight in noting that Steven Spielberg's remake of WSS may have enthralled critics, but no one is rushing to see it. I hate Steven Spielberg movies because I find them overblown, predictable, and incredibly boring. I also dislike the way he presents children.
