Whether you genuinely believe masks help or not, it's hard to argue with a straight face that it is the critical foundation of a public response to the epidemic. If they work, it doesn't matter if the other guy wears one. But if you are an ideological monomaniac, your sole concern is forcing everyone to actively support your One True Belief in sexually libertine, Big Government culture. Bystanders to a Great Leap Forward are not permitted. All must participate. If they don't, it's their fault when it fails.

I thought the constitution was a compact between the individual states and a newly created federal government and that they kept all the rights that they didn't specifically hand over to the federal government. If that's the case where does the Federal government get the right to bully into the schools? Those rights have not been handed over and the states still retain them. Is this part of the ongoing infection of Supreme Court precedents?

People arguing masks work have, a) never had a microbiology course in their life, or flunked out of one if they did, b) find math and size comparisons, e.g. virus vs bacteria and the motes they ride in on, impossible to comprehend, c) are unable to reason logically, and d) are very gullible to commie-generated propaganda delivered via channels that they've been indoctrinated to 'feel' are reliable news sources and not propaganda narrative spewing fear-porn. IOW, people who have no business voting or being allowed anywhere near power machinery. They have self-identified. And I wonder who ties their shoes for them or if they use those velcro'd fasteners.

Good points, #10, but I like to fall back on simple visual aids. A piece of cloth keeps out viruses in precisely the same way that chain link fences keep out mosquitoes. And actually, if you do the math, chain link fence, while visually useful, it way to fine a mesh compared to a virus. The correct size mesh to simulate the ration of a mosquito to the holes in the cloth is like 18" or so wide holes in the fence. But, the visual is useful for those unable to grasp the mathematics.

This is a good reason to get rid of the Department of Education. Biden/Obama don't have the power to go around State law and reimburse School Boards that are ignoring State Law. An Executive Order does not trump a State Law! Get over it Joey. Let's Go Brandon! FJB! (fire joe biden)
