Kamala Harris: Jan. 6 Riot Like Bombing
of Pearl Harbor, 9/11 Terror Attacks

Original Article

Posted By: Imright, 1/6/2022 10:26:53 AM

Vice President Kamala Harris kicked off the Biden administration’s remarks on the first anniversary of the January 6, 2021 Capitol riot by comparing it to the bombing of Pearl Harbor in 1941, and the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001.“Certain dates echo throughout history, including dates that instantly remind all who have lived through them where they were and what they were doing when our democracy came under assault. Dates that occupy not only a place in our calendars, but a place in our collective memory. December 7th, 1941. September 11, 2001. And January 6th, 2021.”

Here is a sample of dem “sanity”. Dem do not mind calling for insurrection. Here is a sample. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hgPVkcLBjK8 So it is OK for the dems to call for violence and OK for BLM and Antifa to DO violence but NOT OK for repubs to actually “peacefully” protest. Yeah, sounds fair to me. S/O

"Me thinks you protest too much". s/o My goodness but these people are so effing dumb. To equate the United States being attacked by Japan and our entering WW2 (which saved the world) to an ill conceived riot is preposterous. NO ONE in the real world talks about this. We are concerned with inflation, the border, covid being mismanaged, the energy crisis, the fact that a demented old goat is our president and an airhead is our vp, world relationships, Afghanistan, CRT, and a hundred other problems we are having. Pathetic, useless people taking up space.

So a bunch of people stormed the Capitol, one got shot and died and this is compared to Pearl harbor? The ANTIFA and BLM riots have damaged millions of dollars worth of theft and property damages not to mentioned the injured Police and bystanders and this is OK?

Sure, just like it. Except there were no bombs, no enemy's flying planes overhead killing soldiers and civilians, no US soldiers trying to fight back, our leaders were not hiding behind barricades crying like babies that unarmed civilians walking in the hallways were going to kill them, nobody drowned or burned to death in sinking ships, and we were not warned about the possibility of any problems ahead of time. The leaders who were responsible for security at Pearl Harbor would not have denied extra watchmen or security if they knew there was a possible chance of danger, and the US government was not involved in the set up of the Pearl Harbor invasion. Oh, and all investigations into how and why Pearl Harbor occurred were to actually find out why it occurred, not to gain political advantages. Pearl Harbor also brought the nation together. Jan 6 is being used to drive a wedge between the people of our country. Other than that, January 6 was just like Pearl Harbor.

Pearl Harbor took fatalities in the thousands. the Jan 6 stroll through the capitol bldg featured no aircraft. Harris mixed up her crime (treason) with another crime (act of war). The current war is being waged by the criminal left (of which Harris is a member) and Americans who support the republic.

After Joe Biden was elected president, I had a conversation with a Wall Street banker friend who is deeply involved in Democratic politics. He could see I was worried. He knew my views about Trump: didn’t like his tone, his Twitter noise and the antics of Jan. 6. I thought his trade policies were often self-defeating, but generally I liked what he did with the economy. The policies actually worked: With tax cuts and deregulation, wages rose for the working class for the first time in years. Pre-pandemic, there was non-inflationary growth.

The First Amendment is the heart and soul of our constitutional rights as Americans—and it belongs to everyone, regardless of background or opinion. Unfortunately, a concept so basic as the right to speak your mind is now under siege. Big Tech monopolies like Twitter and Facebook have become arbiters of what they feel is permitted speech, taking your right to self-expression into their own hands—and promptly crushing it. Big Tech companies have worked hard over the past several years to enlarge their power and influence over how we live our lives, and we have finally reached a breaking point. They have carefully cultivated a monopoly on online speech, establishing

Hospitalizations of U.S. children under 5 with COVID-19 soared in recent weeks to their highest level since the pandemic began, according to government data released Friday on the only age group not yet eligible for the vaccine. The worrisome trend in children too young to be vaccinated underscores the need for older kids and adults to get their shots to help protect those around them, said Dr. Rochelle Walensky, director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Since mid-December, with the highly contagious omicron variant spreading furiously around the country, the hospitalization rate in these youngest kids has surged to more than 4 in 100,000 children, up from 2.5 per 100,000.

The liberal wing of the Supreme Court embarrassed itself Friday with a slew of false claims about COVID-19 during oral arguments over Joe Biden’s vaccine mandates. For example, Justice Stephen Breyer claimed hospitals are at capacity because of unvaccinated Americans with COVID. This is false. But perhaps the most ridiculous false claim from a Supreme Court justice came from Justice Sonia Sotomayor, who falsely claimed that 100,000 children are in “serious condition” from COVID. “We have hospitals that are almost at full capacity with people severely ill on ventilators. We have over 100,000 children, which we’ve never had before, in serious condition, and many on ventilators,” Sotomayor claimed.

Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Director Rochelle Walensky said Friday there is a good chance that the U.S. will follow the "ice-pick"-shaped curve of South Africa's omicron surge of the COVID variant, but cautioned that it could roll through different parts of the country at various times, as previous waves have. "I do think in places that we are seeing this really steep incline, that we may well see also a precipitous decline, but we're also a much bigger country than South Africa," Walensky said in a briefing with reporters.
