Greenie energy has been vaunted by politicians such as President Obama, Joe Biden, and virtually every European politician in power as progress itself, the way forward, the wave of the future. Anyone who's got problems with it, as Obama smarmily assured, is "stuck in the past." Turns out that's crap. After going green and shutting down its coal, fossil fuel, fracking, and nuclear energy production, and feeling mighty virtuous for doing it, Europe is now going cold -- freezing cold. The region faces a very bad winter ahead with energy shortages across the board.

And don't think for a second this wasn't planned.
Explain Frau Merkel's phaseout of Germany's entire nuclear power plant fleet because of the Fukushima nuclear power plant failure. Explain exactly why landlocked Germany should be fearful of a Fukusima-type tidal wave.
On top of all that, Merkel supported Putin's Norsk II gas pipeline, making the whole of western Europe a satellite state of Germany.
Merkel is a communist East German

Continuing #1:
Explain the virtue in Germany shifting its gas supply to Russia, not only because Russia will charge ransom prices, but because Russia will frack to get its gas. It would be like deciding to not buy conflict diamonds from German vendors because they're contraband, but then buying them anyway from Russian vendors.
Explain the virtue in Germany shifting to wind power, when a true, full-cycle eval of the cost of windpower, especially considering the limited lifespan, high maintenance cost, and bird-killing capacity of a wind turbine. And without birds, whose going to eat all the insects?

Hitler would have an easy time of it today. Just tell the Euros that it's better for the environment to unite everyone under one Reich. To top it off, it won't cost you anything. It pays for itself.

The left ever on a quest to save the earth so depopulate it, outlaw energy move into caves. Back to hunting and gathering these fools actually think they will survive in their digs while others will just do without.
Texas tried by reducing natural gas and coal using wind and solar power when the the ice storm hit the state, my state next door too, and people died. The percent of energy those subsidized fades provide is miniscule on a power grid reduced to nothing in colder weather. We will find out with the results of fraud Biden's administration this winter look at gasoline prices other energy will follow. NIMBY England and Germany will learn the hard way produce your own energy or suffer the consequences.

Where are the thinking people over there? You need to have an alternative to fossil fuel before cutting off the energy they have. Open up the mines and do what they need to do to keep things comfortable.

I remember surviving both the global cooling and nuclear winter during the last century. Of course back then we survived because we had reliable energy like coal, gas, and fuel. Now, with global warming we have the situation where Europe will freeze to death despite the warming and in fact due to unmade catastrophe.

Putin has used natural gas to control Ukraine for about 12+ years. I had a conversation with a Canadian oil and gas driller in a restaurant in Kiev about 2008, and learned that Moscow was still able to block him getting the permits needed to drill for oil and gas in Ukraine, even though Ukraine was at that time many years "free" from the USSR, at least theoretically. He was convinced that there was plenty of gas, and at least some oil to be had, if he could be permitted to drill. But, the Ukrainian president, Yanukovich, a Russian puppet, was clearly doing Putin's bidding up until he was thrown out in a bloody revolt in 2014.
Merkel has been a Russian puppet, like Yanukovich, the whole time. Shutting down German nuke plants was a precursor to effectively giving Putin the reigns of power for Germany. Merkel is a German traitor, an old line Communist, a vassal of Russia.
The Euroweenies will freeze and pay through the nose to be cold. Enjoy your choice, fools. There is no MMGW, and CO2 is a harmless trace gas. The whole thing is just a scam to obtain money and power. I wonder if any of them will begin to realize their foolishness? I doubt it.
