Senate Republicans have shared they hope former President Donald Trump does not announce another run for the White House – especially before the 2022 midterms, a Sunday report reveals.Several GOP senators told The Hill that they don't want Trump at the helm of their party.'I think we're better off when he's not part of any story,' one Republican senator, who said his view is widely shared in the GOP conference, said.'He's a clinical narcissist,' the senator continued. 'He threw away the election in the debate with Biden and he threw away the Senate out of spite.'The lawmaker was referring to Trump's first debate against then-candidate Joe Biden
Many Senate Republicans are going to lose.

He isn't going to announce before the 2022 election. But unless there is a health issue that occurs between now and 2024, I think anyone with a pulse beyond 6 knows what he plans to do.
I hope that as we enter the 2022 season, Pres Trump talks less about the obviously stolen election and more about what he and these Republicans that he endorses in the primaries and general election will do to Make America Great Again Again.
Let's Go Brandon!

I am not particularly happy that Donald Trump may run in 2024, I would rather see DeSantis with Trumps backing.
I cannot praise Trump enough for the job he did in spite of the Republicrats and Democrats who tried to destroy him. Traitors every stinking one of them.
I believe that anyone who runs against Trump will lose, but DeSantis running with a Trump endorsement is a shoo-in. If Trump does run and DeSantis doesn't Trump will get my vote.

Consider the source. The "Daily Mail" is a British rag sheet about 50 steps below "The National Enquirer" for journalistic integrity. They have spent years bashing President Trump -- always based on "anonymous sources". Basically whatever they could make up.

Every morning I wake up and get a fresh jolt from the outrage of the day generated by by the either aimless or intentionally disastrous path our nation is staggering on. FJbiden gets up and tells us what our eyes and ears cannot and can not believe. He tells us down is up and wrong is right and what do we hear out of Republican? Not a word. The national treasury is gushing money like blood from a freshly slit throat, and will suffer a similar pathology: When the body runs out of blood, the heart dies. And Republicans are responding to this, How? Hmmm, can't say that I know, in spite of SCOURING for hints that these guys (and dolls) even show up for work. The presidunce' son is running a flim-flam art scam, kicking up to the Big Guy his customary 10% I presume, meanwhile 'moderate' atty gen Merrick is loosing the dogs of FBI/CIA/DOJ and various other alpha-bits on mothers and fathers who are aghast at what is being shoved down their own children's' throats while at school everyday, when they don't even know what color their crayons are yet - well those parents need to stand down and just let go of them kids. Under penalty of law if necessary and damn few Republicans can waddle out of their plush offices and easy chairs to support the few. Another mass caravan is swelling to what, now? 85K? Efforts to stop this by Republicans are nonexistent. Energy, unemployment, crime, corruption in high places - nope...not a peep. But let their chance of easy incumbent re-election wins take just a whiff of heat from the ONE PRESIDENT who had much of these clamities well in hand and suddenly they find their calling. They are loathsome and vile parasites. They are destroying us just as surely as the Democrats are.

Gotta ask...how many of those 50 repubs that don't want Trump and claim HE lost Ga....actually donated big money to the candidates in Georgia? Spent ANY time there campaigning...sent THEIR teams out to GOTV, Knock on doors, get people to the Polls? Cut TV ads? Only 4 of them even bothered to endorse him...ANY help during the 1st round of voting could have gotten Perdue the mere 3/10ths of a percent needed to win 50% +1(he had 49.7% to Offof's 47.9%), and avoid the run off altogether. Ossof had 100k fewer votes in the runnoff...but....Perdue ended up with 200k less. Imagine if 50 US senators had shown up for Trumps Rally to help Perdue across the line? Actually acted like they WANTED to win something for a change..

I say it's those senators who shouldn't run for office. President Trump stumped for two lame Georgia politicians who seemed more concerned with pleasing those outside the base than the base; they lost all on their own. President Trump tried, but he one, couldn't convince enough people to vote for the status quo, and two, nothing was done about the fraud, so how could they win. PDT didn't throw away the senate, they did it to themselves. Will they ever learn?

DJT Loved America and Americans. He took no pay and all of the abuse. Why did they attack him so relentlessly? Because he was out to let the world see their schemes against America-they were, and are, out to destroy America so they could have a high place of standing after the collapse. THEY do not want to be one of the peons. They want to be the elite with all the stuff while we have nothing.
I really think they did not think DJT would win. Hillary was supposed to take over after O and continue his agenda (like biden is now). They were unprepared and their cheating machine was not in full swing. They underestimated us. Well, they will not let THAT happen again. If we cannot stop the cheating and just accept it they win and will from now on.
They will say "citizens vote but so should residents. They are living and contributing here so they should have a say." They will buy the votes of the illegals by taking OUR tax dollars and giving them EVERYTHING for free, monthly income, healthcare, free college, food, housing and all the rest. They, in return, will hand over their vote to keep the free stuff coming.

There is nothing more that Americans admire than a winner and Donald John Trump is a winner. He is quintessential American in his outlook, demeanor, and political philosophy and the left hates this. He is confident, brash, unwilling to suffer fools gladly, and unashamedly patriotic. The left wants a apologetic soy boy with nothing but evil intentions roiling around in his heart in regards to this country. They want someone on their knees to our enemies and President Trump is not that or ever will be. They fear his appeal with the America First Agenda and will do anything to stop him. Nothing is beneath them. Look what they have done already.
The country is not stupid. Americans are living through the worst government of their lifetime. Times are bad and getting worse. However, they remember how it was during the Trump administration and they want those days back. With a decidedly unpopular agenda, all democrats have to rely on is voter fraud. They do not stand a chance of winning without it. If the Republican Party intends to ignore the 2020 fraud, and refuses to fight to have the truth revealed, we will lose. Democrats must be exposed as the cheaters they are. We have to settle this matter once and for all for the good of the country or else we will have massive voter fraud in every election. There are dark forces on both sides of the political spectrum who want to keep us on this path. My fear is that the results of the Arizona audit will never see the light of day. It is an exercise to lull us into believing that the truth will be revealed when they know it will not be, but they must keep the natives from becoming restless. We the people want another four years of President Trump’s agenda for this country. However, I believe the political elites in both parties don’t want him near the White House again. He is a threat to the system they have built to benefit themselves at the expense of the American taxpayer. Both parties have lied, cheated, and stolen from us with abandon and will fight to the death to protect their little fiefdom. Truth is the only thing that will set us free.

Yet, the career DC swamp rats have always hated him and are still trying to destroy him because he exposed their massive corruption, including child sex-crimes. We need to root out the RINOS anyway! Trump, or DeSantis, wouldn't be able to count on Their support for passing his agenda. They would always be nipping at his Heels about something. So, who cares what they want! If he wants to run, he will win. If he decides to back DeSantis instead, HE will win! Either way, we will have a Republican President in the White House who will begin to turn this country around after all the destruction of the Biden Administration! If Trump wins, and those Republicans who fought against him (in the background) are still there, they will do the same thing to him again. He will have to spend his time fighting them again. So, lets weed them out in 22 so that we're ready to Roll with REAL Republicans who will work with Trump for the good of our Country!

What weakens this plea is that President Trump himself was telling republicans in Georgia that the Senate races were rigged, that they shouldn’t avail themselves of the mail-in ballot. His personal attorney, Lin Wood, was openly advising against voting in the election at all. I don’t recall the President even mildly disclaiming him.
I look back on the Trump presidency with fondness for the man and most of what he actually accomplished but angst at his often self-inflicted turmoil. My personal opinion is that conservative republicanism finds itself of the perfect electoral wave for next election and maybe 2024. The one certain way to negate much of that advantage is to make DJT the face of the opposition - no one else has the power to drive Democrat turnout.

Solid points to Venturer. Trump is a force of nature and vastly effective as a kingmaker. Having said that, as many people love him (like me) and would vote for him in a heartbeat, I would like to see him throw his considerable power behind other names and get them elected (say, DeSantis/Blackburn?). Both have shown they are unafraid of Democrat power grabs and solidly Trump-thinkers.

Why should I care if a bunch of back stabbing Republicans lose their seats?
Mitt Romney, Liz Cheney, and Adam Kinzinger losing is a bad thing?
The ten Republicans Senators that voted for 1.5 trillion in 'free' money shouldn't go?
The fool that went along with the Democrats and raised the debt ceiling would be a terrible loss?
They spend money they don't have. They are wrecking the country. They take away our rights, freedoms, wealth, safety, and our very lives.
Our government is practically a criminal organization already.

Thank you Sully #37. We know why President Trump is talking about the stolen election at every rally and every interview, Again, Americans have a short attention span and if you do not repeat something over and over again, it does not penetrate their thinking/brains. I was in Marketing/Sales (as was Pres.Trump) and we knew repetition of the benefits of a product lead to many sales. This means PJDT is like a dog with a bone and he's not letting go until the voting fraud is dealt with and solved and elections are made free and fair. To allow lawlessness is to allow corruption and destruction of your Nation. Courage Americans, don't give up in the middle of the fight. We will win!

Not every Republican has a love affair with FPDT. Many here would denounce such as RINO-ism or worse. Many independents have no love whatever for FPDT, who will simply vote against anything labeled Trump despite having conservative beliefs or leanings. Trump's endorsements do not win every time; some, like Mitt, are not quite working out.

The rhino senators worried they will lose their election if Trump runs in 2024 are absolutely correct. They will lose because Trump will not endorse the spinless lying weasels and hopefully will run America First primary challengers against them so they don't even get to the General Election. We have had it, with these spinless rhinos. And what Mitch McConnell, thinks, I could care less. That POS sits in his big office at the Capitol because of one man, President Donald J. Trump who endorsed him. Mitch's hand had not even come off the Bible after he took the oath for his re-election before he sold Trump down the river. Goodbye to trash.

Heck, they should all be drummed out of the Repub party long before then.
Either that, or form a new party, and don't let them in.

Interesting that not one so-called 'Republican Senator' seems to want their name mentioned....Rino's speaking. MAGA!!
