To spite President Trump, and in an unspoken way, succor China, Democrats are moving in for the kill on the Space Force founded by President Trump in 2019, at long last finding a government program they don't want to make bigger.
According to KPIX5, a CBS affiliate in San Francisco:
WASHINGTON (CBS SF/CNN) — A North Bay congressman has introduced a bill to abolish the U.S. Space Force, a day after the newest branch of the military unveiled new uniform prototypes.
Rep. Jared Huffman (D-San Rafael) introduced the No Militarization of Space Act as Congress moves to pass the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), the annual bill that authorizes funding for the Pentagon.

There's no charlatan like an old charlatan.
And in the wake of the migrant surge at the border, out comes race hustler Rev. Al Sharpton from some blue city back east to Del Rio, Texas, to howl about all the supposed racism of the Border Patrol attempting to do their actual jobs, sending people breaking into the U.S. illegally back across the Rio Grande. For Sharpton, that wasn't an opportunity to opine about the humanitarian crisis and the failure of the Biden administration to protect local communities, but an opportunity to do the cuckoo-clock thing, and race bait, cynically using the fact that most of the illegal crossers were dark-skinned Haitians

Joe Biden has already trashed his presidency through his disastrous Afghanistan pullout and unprecedented border meltdown. Voters won't forgive these failures, and Democrats will pay in 2022 and 2024.
But the emerging collapse of his domestic agenda in Congress -- the $1 trillion stimulus, with its $3.5 trillion "reconciliation" rider, is just as notable.
According to Politico:
Internal Democratic discord has wounded President Joe Biden’s massive social spending plan, raising the prospect that the package could stall out, shrink dramatically — or even fail altogether.
Myriad problems have arisen. Moderate Senate Democrats Joe Manchin (W.Va.) and Kyrsten Sinema (Ariz.) continue to be a major headache for party leadership’s $3.5 trillion target.

City boys don't know much about horse-riding out West, do they?
Various tenderfoots in the media, followed by assorted Democrats, including the White House itself, have ignorantly claimed that the Border Patrol was using "whips" on migrants in Del Rio, Texas, following a series of misleading pictures published in the press.
Here's an outraged tweet from a soft-handed city-bred bluecheck: (Snip for tweet) Fox News has a collection of these tweets saying the same thing from other bluechecks.
Here's an MSNBC video over the YouTube headline:

The migrant mass of some 15,000 mostly Haitians now illegally on U.S. territory in a squalid, never-before-seen shantytown under a bridge near Del Rio, Texas demands some answers.
Here's how bad it is: (Snip for tweet) It's natural to want to know how this formed? Why is it so big? Why did it end up at Del Rio, Texas, a town ill-equipped to accommodate them? How did these people fly or sail from faraway Haiti? Are more on the way? And where the heck is Joe Biden and his brainless, disengaged border czar, Kamala Harris? Joe was last seen at the beach in Delaware as this crisis fireballed

In the crudest crypto-censorship since dictators made newsprint unavailable, the Biden administration tried to shut down Fox News's coverage of the border crisis by cutting off its drone access for camera shots, depriving the network of the ability to broadcast the actual news in pictures as it was happening on the ground. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), which has never been misused in this way, claimed its two-week shutoff was all about public safety. Thomas Lifson wrote about the sorry spectacle here.
Here's the real reason: Fox News's original reporting, done by Bill Melugin (a must-follow on Twitter), documented a historic crisis building at the border

Facebook has shut down advertising for a new song by John Ondrasik, called "Got Blood on My Hands," about Joe Biden's disastrous pullout from Afghanistan. They did it on the typical spurious grounds of "violation of terms of service." The song denounces Biden's abandonment of thousands of Americans and allies behind enemy lines, the needless deaths of thirteen service members, all the best of the best, and names names of the culprits in the fiasco. Boy, is this a cold, angry song. And a very good one. Listen: (Snip for video) According to the Washington Free Beacon: Facebook blocked

The news in our country and abroad has been relentlessly bad ever since we entered the calamitous Biden Era just months ago, but there are a few hopeful signs out there still. One of the best is a story receiving almost no coverage in the larger press: the Venezuela elections this November. The democratic opposition has agreed to participate after years of boycotting the Maduro regime’s rigged voting. The EU will send a large team of election monitors and Maduro has already been releasing some political prisoners in a bid to end sanctions.

After showing in a custom evening gown at the Met Gala extravaganza, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is starting to sound nervous
After all, her appearance in the pricey one-of-a-kind evening gown at the celebrity-studded event didn't go over as she'd planned. Her gown had spray-painted on it the words "Tax the Rich" on its backside. It reeled in the charges of hypocrisy. I wrote about that here yesterday, and the fallout is continuing.
So now we get this, justification after justification after justification, for her soirée eating the rarified food and dancing the dance, and drinking the stuff, and doing the air kisses with all the celebrity beautiful people.

In the decrepit, doddering Joe Biden era, the odor of decay, decadence and borrowed glory from the entitled ruling class is the order of the day based on what was seen at last night's Met Gala, "the party of the year" according to the New York Times.
Nobody embodied that better than Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, who wore a custom-designed white evening gown graffitied with 'Tax the Rich' in red spray paint on the back of it, just perfect for an event brimming with the superrich. She knows they like that 'beat me, beat me' vibe.
Here she is preening and showing it off for the cameras, every inch the center of attention:

The marked decline in support for President Biden and his administration nationally and in key swing states indicates that the Democratic Party could endure a blowout defeat in the 2022 midterm elections.
Moreover, Biden is in a significantly weaker position now than both of his most recent Democratic predecessors — Bill Clinton and Barack Obama — at this point in their presidencies, which suggests that Democrats could suffer even more substantial losses in 2022 than the party did in 1994 and 2010.

An Afghan interpreter who aided the U.S. military for the last decade told Fox News the Taliban beat him in his home on Thursday night for suspected ties to the American government, as he and his family face a yearslong delay for approval of their Special Immigrant Visa applications.
The interpreter, who requested his identity be kept anonymous for his and his family’s safety, told Fox News in an interview Thursday night over the phone that the Taliban came to his home and "tortured him" in front of his wife and his three young children.
