The big automotive news is that Elon Musk's Tesla reported record earnings of $438 million for the past quarter. This translates to 93 cents per share on $10.39 billion in revenue. Tesla did this despite a semiconductor chip shortage that is hobbling other car companies like Ford, which had to slash vehicle production at seven plants in North America. Some see this as proving investors right to give Tesla stock a nosebleed price-to-earnings ratio of nearly 1,700, and thus making Musk the second richest person alive if not the richest. China's Covid-19 vaccines were developed fast, rolled out rapidly around the world and proclaimed by President Xi Jinping as a 'global public good' to showcase his country's benevolence. Hundreds of millions of doses have been despatched abroad after being sold to 28 countries and given away free to more than 60 poorer or strategically important places in an attempt to plug supply gaps around the globe. This vaccine diplomacy – branded by Beijing as the Health Silk Road – is a key part of the Communist regime's propaganda drive after its early cover-ups inflamed the pandemic and amid growing global suspicions over the virus's true origins.

President Biden’s new death tax would result in estates that currently are not remotely close to having sufficient net worth to pay a death tax paying a death tax. Mark Zuckerberg and his wife Priscilla Chan have almost doubled the size of their estate in Hawaii, purchasing a neighboring 600 acre plot for $53 million in a move likely to further enrage his island critics. The Facebook founder, who began buying up chunks of the island in September 2014, added the additional land on March 19, according to Pacific Business News. Kauai is the fourth largest of Hawaii's eight main islands, and home to 67,000 people. The north shore land, which includes the spectacular Larsen's Beach, was bought from a nonprofit organization established by a local family, whose roots, the paper reported,

UFOs exist — but the government doesn’t want you to know it, according to the ex-Pentagon official who says he ran the program investigating “unidentified aerial phenomena” or UAP. Recalling the revelatory instant when he recognized that UFOs were bona fide, controversial whistleblower Luis “Lue” Elizondo exclusively told The Post, “It was a holy-s–t moment: ‘Oh, my gosh, it’s real. Well, crap, now we have to do something about it.’ ” However, Elizondo has not been able to get the feds to act on what he describes as a serious national security risk due to a litany of roadblocks — including a cover-up of the existence of UFOs

President Joe Biden is again spending the weekend in Delaware, but just how he spends his days of leisure are shrouded in mystery. The White House has so far released very little information about what he does on Saturdays and Sundays, providing the public with scant details about whom he spends time or speaks to. When he arrived at his Wilmington residence Friday afternoon, it marked his seventh trip home as president as the country returns to some semblance of normal amid the coronavirus pandemic and a day after he cleared his 100th in office. Presidents never experience "a true

Headline #1: Biden Addresses Congress, Announces More Spending On Wednesday evening, President Joe Biden made his first address to a joint session of Congress, during which he made several predictable assertions and unveiled his plan for a few more trillion dollars in spending. Thoughts and Observations: Full disclosure: I did not watch Biden’s entire speech; I couldn’t. I probably watched about half of it then watched some baseball, but I read the entire transcript. It was unnerving to watch. Biden has never been that sharp, but during his prime he was at least articulate...

Former Nevada Sen. Harry Reid believes US defense contractor Lockheed Martin may have once had fragments of a crashed UFO in its possession, it was revealed Friday. Reid, 81, told The New Yorker that he had never actually seen proof of the remnants — but tried, unsuccessfully, to get approval from the Pentagon to find them.(Photo) “I was told for decades that Lockheed had some of these retrieved materials,” the Democrat told the magazine.“And I tried to get, as I recall, a classified approval by the Pentagon to have me go look at the stuff. They would not approve that,” Reid continued. “I don’t know what all the numbers were,

Canada lacks the miracle that is the United States Constitution. Still, as befits a nation the once-free British founded, it is a country that has traditionally had a few of what we consider to be core English freedoms – freedom of speech, worship, assembly, etc. Those concepts seem far away now, as Justin Trudeau and the various provincial and municipal governments use COVID as an excuse to crack down on those liberties. I’ve written before about Canada’s draconian and expensive hotel rule for people returning by air from overseas travel. It’s gotten so bad that people are flying into the U.S. and driving to their home

Tucker Carlson opened Friday night’s show with a pointed critique. The rhetorical question was why the Republican leadership is so disconnected from Republican voters. One of the reasons, he said, is Frank Luntz. For decades, Luntz has been giving the GOP leadership its talking points. The problem is that Luntz is not a conservative; he is a corporate servant and his points always align with corporate America – and lately, corporate America has been aligning with the woke left. (snip) He’s the one who tells them that Republican voters love illegal immigration, want amnesty, and think it’s a great idea for the government to take their weapons.

Worshippers lined up at churches across Greece on Orthodox Good Friday as the government kept pandemic restrictions in place through the Easter holiday while preparing to restart services for tourists. Seating restrictions were put on church services and priests had instructions to get tested daily for COVID-19, while police maintained checkpoints along highways to enforce a domestic travel ban. Many restrictions in effect since early November will be scrapped, however, starting Monday, when restaurants and cafes will be allowed to serve customers outdoors. Tourism-related businesses and services are set to start operating again on May 15.

Asked directly if he would oppose unilateral action by Congress to make the district a state, Manchin replied, "Yes, I would."
