Do We Know Earth’s Global Temperature?

Original Article

The next target of mainstream media propaganda is to convince the public that human industry is causing climate change. CNN insiders boasted about that to James O’Keefe’s Project Veritas on hidden camera (after bragging about defeating Donald Trump’s re-election). Marjorie Taylor Greene is preparing to debate Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez on the floor of the U.S. House of Representatives. Some of us will worry whether the debate about the Green New Deal will focus on the most important points. There are a thousand issues and sub-issues. It is easy to get lost or sidetracked. I suggest laying the axe to the root: Humans have never actually measured the temperature of planet Earth.

Comments:

This is a really excellent and actually scientific, and mathematically valid look at the basic concept that I have asked friends about many times when we discuss the insanity of the claims of MMGW.
We have absolutely no DEFINITION of what the Earth's global temperature even IS, or even how it might BE measured, and it certainly has NEVER been measured in any valid sense, since there isn't even a definiton of what it would even be. And no agreement of what method would be considered scientifically valid.

I want one of these Global Warm-mongers to explain to me how warm the earth was increased during the 50's and 60's when the U.S. and Soviets exploded massive thermonuclear bombs above ground before they were banned but the nuclear test ban treaty. Hundreds of Megatons of bombs and yet no one has detected any rise in temperature during that time. Sort of incredible isn't it? The heat of the Sun on earth and it's not as potent as some cow farts?

The Green New Deal promises to eliminate internal combustion engines and all use of fossil fuel. This eliminates airplanes. So if the Air Force has no planes how are we supposed to defend the country? The only way to get to Europe, Africa, or Australia will be sailing ships. Personally, I love Climate Change. If it weren't for Climate Change I'd have to deal with dinosaurs, wooly mammoths, and saber toothed tigers in addition to the snakes and lizards I have to put up with. Hope the debate isn't pay for view.

Excellent Article if we are going to argue science perhaps we should try the scientific method and use valid experiments to try to verify our hypothesis, not just flawed models. Do you understand how difficult it is to break through the fake science and suggest that variances in the Suns out put probably has more to do with climate change than does what man does?

I just spent two weeks exploring Western National Parks, from Arches to Zion to Grand Canyon and Petrified Forest. All of them are the products of eons of "climate change". So, given the past, when would have been the ideal time to freeze global climate? Anyone? One point made is that if the history of the earth was compressed into one year, human existence would occupy only the last 30 seconds. The NPS needs to post signs at each entrance and viewpoint to remind visitors that "climate change' caused all the visitors see. One wonders how the ocean floor of yore is now at 8000 foot elevations.

Excellent point, #5. Yes, exactly so. Massive climate change on view. And congratulations on that trip! Fine places to be, and good selection of time of year, too. I have made those visits a number of times over the last 40 years, and never tire of going back and seeing new aspects of each park. Once broke a heel miles back in Orderville Canyon (off of Virgin River in Zion).....that wasn't much fun. But went back 6 or 7 years ago with a Ukrainian friend. Isn't Landscape Arch just truly AMAZING?! So many wonderful places in this country to see. After a while in the SW, my wife and I say that we are "getting Entrada Sandstoned out...." 😀

Elon Musk's racket 4 replies

The big automotive news is that Elon Musk's Tesla reported record earnings of $438 million for the past quarter. This translates to 93 cents per share on $10.39 billion in revenue. Tesla did this despite a semiconductor chip shortage that is hobbling other car companies like Ford, which had to slash vehicle production at seven plants in North America. Some see this as proving investors right to give Tesla stock a nosebleed price-to-earnings ratio of nearly 1,700, and thus making Musk the second richest person alive if not the richest. Our betters also preach that the stock market portends the future.

For those who think now-former Brooklyn Center police officer Kim Potter should be charged with a crime – let alone murder – I have a simple question: if a surgeon accidentally nicks an artery and kills a patient when she mistakes the scalpel in her hand for a prober, should she be charged with murder, or even manslaughter? Answer: no. After all, the surgeon did this thing we all do: she made a mistake. She had no ill intent, let alone malice. Despite the best intentions and protocols, it sadly happens on occasion, and especially in the heat of the moment during a pressure filled situation like surgery.

Blue Bloods (BB) is a drama program on CBS that is in its 11th season and has been contracted to run for at least a 12th year. It is also doing very well in syndication. The star of BB is Tom Selleck, who plays New York City police commissioner Frank Reagan. The show centers on a family of New York City cops. But it is much more than just a multi-generational Irish family of cops saga. The BB faithful audience feels as if every BB show does not challenge their own beliefs, does not mock their values, and actually encourages and supports

College Park Police used night vision technology to locate the fugitive after he ran into nearby woods when spotted by a responding patrol car, according to the post. CORRECTION*

Have the wokesters finally reached a tipping point? Leftists of multiple stripes have been making public schools horrible places, and now students are bolting. In California, that's making news. According to the Associated Press: SAN FRANCISCO (AP) — California public schools have experienced a sharp decline in enrollment this year as the pandemic forced millions into online school, according to data made public Thursday. The drop came as the state's school districts dawdled in bringing children back to the classroom, making California one of the slowest in the country to reopen schools. The California Department of Education data shows that the number of students

A global political realignment is underway, detaching workers from the Marxist left that ostensibly was created to serve their interests. Delusional leftists who have demonized Donald Trump for the last five years are wrong if they think installing Joe Biden/Kamala Harris in the White House will stem the political realignment that has brought millions of working-class Americans into the Republican Party. They may believe that Trump hypnotized former members of the Democrats' base into supporting more conservative and nationalist policies, but it is becoming clear that Trump recognized forces at work globally driving those who work with their hands away from the Marxist left, and brilliantly captured

We will never hear the last of them because there will always be more. And because certain people are invested in forcing us to hear about them. But what they demand we hear isn’t the truth. Is it a tragedy that Daunte Wright is dead? Of course it is. Should he have been shot dead on Sunday by a Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, police officer? Why, no, he shouldn’t have been.

The other night, I left the TV on Turner Classic Movies and went to walk the dogs. I came back to find my usually cellphone-centric 14-year-old niece Peilin watching The Heiress, a classic 1949 anti-romantic drama with the elegant language of the Henry James source novel, Washington Square. We watched the rest of the film together, Peilin spellbound by its fundamental mystery. Does handsome suitor Morris Townsend (Montgomery Clift) truly love plain spinster Catherine Sloper (Best Actress Oscar winner Olivia de Havilland), or is he only after her fortune? I observed Peilin’s engrossment with renewed hope for the next generation of American women. It lasted till I saw Kung Fu.

The BLM website tells us that in 2013 “three radical Black organizers — Alicia Garza, Patrisse Cullors, and Opal Tometi — created a Black-centered political will and movement building project called #BlackLivesMatter.” On the website, to this day, the organizers proudly share the inspiration for the group’s creation: “It was in response to the acquittal of Trayvon Martin’s murderer, George Zimmerman.” The critical word here is “murderer.” An all-female jury believed rightly that Zimmerman shot Martin in self-defense and acquitted him of all charges, including murder. Their judgment simply did not matter to the three women who founded BLM. In the ongoing Minneapolis trial of former Minneapolis Police Officer Derek Chauvin, BLM

Former President George W. Bush appeared to blame himself for the country’s “populist uprising” on illegal immigration after he failed to pass comprehensive reform during his eight years in office. During an interview with “The Dispatch” podcast, Mr. Bush expanded on comments he made earlier this month that his failure to pass immigration reform was one of his biggest regrets of his presidency. “Now, the reason I say it’s a regret is because it’s my fault,” the former president said Thursday. “I tried to reform Social Security before reforming immigration.
