Will We Keep Our Republic?

Original Article

Ben Franklin famously said, "You've got a republic, if you can keep it." That warning is particularly haunting now, because we seem on the verge of losing it — not from foreign invasion, not from revolution, but because we stopped caring about it. America was founded on the principles of individual liberty and equal treatment under the law. These are the foundational principles required for equality and prosperity. Yet we've been creeping away from those principles for many years. In the last 12 years, that creep has become a sprint. The world's beacon of freedom is dying,

We won't have a Republic long if the Democrats have any say in it. They are trying their best to become a Political power that has a monopoly on Government.

The essential fact is that society today is not 1776, even 1976 or 2001. We have devolved into a nation of scardycats, herded by government and media to "safety". We have banned certain thoughts and expressions. We have allowed all things sordid to be dumped on the white majority. We have demanded "action" from a government designed to do as little as necessary. We have accepted that the Federal government controls the economy, and can hand out free shtuff at will to reward some and penalize others. Success is now a product of racial factors, not opportunity and risk-taking. Look to China as the model for the USA...it's becoming a mirror image.

The Demon-Rats want a dictatorship. The Republi-Can'ts are too impotent and swamp-infected to do anything to stop them. We haven't had a republic since the Demon-Rats stole the election in November without so much as a peep from 99.999% of the Republi-Can'ts. And "we the people" are too weak and wishy-washy to do anything about it. So this is the reality that we have chosen for ourselves. The patriots of 1776 are turning in their graves!!!

It might have offended a few, #3, but these days the unadulterated truth often does. I see my Texas invaded by who knows what from who knows where and I see almost no pushback. All hat and no cattle. Our TX GOP apparatus and Senators busy on 2022. After the border photops, hmmm, those Senators are back to business as usual - and pretending Trump never existed. The GOP is a dead man walking.

We'll need to exercise the 2nd amendment... Sadly, Americans don't have the stomach for anything that makes them feel uncomfortable... Jan 6th is a good example. The so called insurrection was orchestrated by the left and approved by the DC swamp rats and supported by the DC police.

I agree with #3, but the question is, how many Americans were willing and to put everything they have on the line and risk it all? If it as I suspect, not many, so then yes, we will lose the Republic.

If you want to get into the fight, start listening to the podcast, pandemic.warroom.org. It's on M-F 10 am to 12 pm and 5-6 pm and on Saturdays 10-12 EST. WTP are fighting back. Look into the Precinct Project. Why do you think there is an ongoing audit in Maricopa County? Why do you think there will likely be another in Georgia? Why do you think there are candidates already primarying several RINO's? I understand the pessimism and outright disgust with our politicians right now, truly I do. Our backs have been pushed up against a wall by both sides of the aisle. But if we engage collectively, we can still get this country back without gunfire. The Democrats have woken a sleeping giant. All we need to do in ENGAGE!

Wish it were otherwise, but I don't think the 2nd Amendment (although a God-given and Constitutional right) is of any use in our predicament. Effective, organized, armed resistance is the stuff of fantasy in contemporary America. As a people we are soft, self-absorbed, risk-averse and, in material terms, have way too much to lose.

ABC-7 News in Washington reports the Biden administration has found yet another use for the COVID pandemic. Rep. Liz Cheney recently survived a vote on removing her from leadership in the House Republican caucus. She thanked her colleagues by promptly going out and contradicting House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy publicly and making the Sunday show rounds to obsess over Donald Trump and January 6th. It was one giant middle finger to those who stood beside her, hoping she would now focus on helping the Republican party instead of fighting pointless, long past battles. Because of that, the heat is back on, and fresh talk of kicking her to the curb has started up again. This time, though, the names being mentioned actually matter,

Last week, I asked why there was no uproar from LGBTQ activists when Bruce “Caitlyn” Jenner was “misgendered” and mocked by the left after announcing that he would run for governor of California. (In reality, some of the mocking came from LGBTQ activists, who painted Jenner as a fame-hungry reality TV star.) And where was the uproar when Bill Maher questioned the “born that way” dogma, stating, “Wasn't always sure about the man-woman thing, but low capital gains taxes — born that way.” To be sure, there were some scattered voices of protest,
Biden's New Death Tax 6 replies

This week, President Biden proposed taxing capital gains at death at a tax rate of 39.6 percent plus the 3.8 percent investment tax. He proposed a $1 million exemption. For an individual with less than $11.8 million in net worth, this would create a new death tax from whole cloth. President Biden’s new death tax would result in estates that currently are not remotely close to having sufficient net worth to pay a death tax paying a death tax. It can be named a ‘capital gains tax at death’; it is a new death tax. For a long-term real estate investor, President Biden’s plan could confiscate an entire estate.
