Romney booed while on stage at
Utah GOP convention

Original Article

Republican Sen. Mitt Romney was booed by audience members when he took the stage at the Utah GOP convention Saturday. Romney has faced negative backlash and a censure threat by the GOP delegation for his votes to impeach Donald Trump. But Chairman of the Utah GOP, Derek Brown, interrupted Romney’s speech to tell the rowdy crowd to simmer down.

Comments:

The boos were the high point, unfortunately. The party even chose not to censure Romney for his impeachment votes.

Found the video. Clicked on the blue The Salt Lake Tribune link. The boos were loud. Romney is a self-righteous rino. He has a 68 % lifetime American Conservative Union rating. He deserves to be ousted in the primary.

The Republicans are on crack thinking they stand a chance in 2022 or 2024, even with Trump. There are so many of us that are so thoroughly disgusted with everything Republican, being the lesser of two evils won’t be enough.

Where was Romney’s desire for unity when we had a very successful Republican President? He’s a rotten politician clear through to his stinking “delectoes.” Is he weren’t so stupid, he’d know how illogical he is.

Dodge Boy and Veturer, I have a very good friend that lives in Utah and says that the younger R voters in Utah think he's a great man, mostly because of his "saving the Olympics" years ago. There are a lot of voters that have no use for him.

FTA: "I’m a man who says what he means, and you know I was not a fan of our last president’s character issues," Romney said.... Those "character issues" sure didn't bother Romney when he was begging for Trump's endorsement when Romney ran for POTUS and the Senate.

RINO Senator "Pierre Delecto" knows that there are many RINO's that support him. Pierre himself probably voted for Hussein Obama in 2012. Pierre knows that he can find comfort from Susan Collins and Lisa Murkowski, fellow RINO's. IN 2016, Pierre voted for Ann to be POTUS, Ann being his wife. Pierre the Pea Brain.

He should have been dragged off the stage and out of the building, the city, and the state. The booing was beautiful, though. One little snot told them they needed to be respectful, and they started booing again. Why? Because Mr. Delecto couldn't help himself; he had to jump nasty on President Trump. He must think the boos give him RINO cred.

Left-wing cable news network MSNBC came under fire Thursday following a perplexing segment on Joy Reid's show centered around "poop" jokes and attacking Rep. Elise Stefanik, R-N.Y. Reid, the left-wing host well known for criticizing Republicans, was seemingly amused when former Republican National Committee Chairman Michael Steele, now a political analyst for MSNBC, resorted to using defecation references to attack Stefanik, the Republican Party, and former President Donald Trump. The segment began with Reid going on a profanity laced rant against Stefanik, calling her statements on election fraud in the 2020 election "bulls**t,"

A Texas Democrat who has been critical of Biden administration policies at the U.S.-Mexico border lashed out this week, accusing the administration of posting misleading photos from a migrant processing facility. U.S. Rep. Henry Cuellar accused the Department of Homeland Security of trying to create the impression the facility in Donna, Texas, was emptying out, when in fact the migrant youths who had been located there were simply moved to a nearby location. "All they’re doing is, they’re moving kids from one tent to the other tent and saying, ‘Oh, they’re not in the Border Patrol (custody),’" Cuellar said, according to Border Report.

The name’s Klain — President Klain. Washington insiders delight in assigning the White House chief of staff this mischievous title as the driving force behind the actual president, Joe Biden. The man himself, Ron Klain, would never describe himself this way, but his firm grip on the levers of government has enabled the 78-year-old president to cruise through his first 100 days in office without breaking sweat. Everybody who is anybody in Washington knows Klain, although few people outside the Beltway — the ring road surrounding the capital — have heard of him. He is a powerful, confident operator who knows the business of government inside out.

Democrats' quest to make Washington, D.C., the 51st state hit a big roadblock this week in the form of a fellow Democrat. Sen. Joe Manchin, D-W.Va., said he opposed Congress alone creating the new state and he believes, like Republicans have argued, that statehood for the nation's capital needs to be done through a constitutional amendment. "If Congress wants to make D.C. a state, it should propose a constitutional amendment," Manchin said in an interview with the West Virginia MetroNews radio network, according to The Associated Press. "It should propose a constitutional amendment and let the people of America vote."

More than a dozen House Republicans Friday are questioning Commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo on whether there "was any political interference" in the final census numbers used to decide how many House members each state will get for the coming decade. The letter, first obtained by Fox News, is led by Rep. James Comer, R-Ky., the ranking member on the House Oversight Committee. The Republican House members cited gaps between the number of House seats some right-leaning states were projected to gain -- or some left-leaning states were projected to lose -- and the final results announced this week.

It’s part of an effort to help tackle a disease-transmitting invasive mosquito population—the Aedes aegypti mosquito species—that’s responsible for “virtually all mosquito-borne diseases transmitted to humans,” according to the company.
