Slightly cooler temperatures and lighter winds aided fire crews in their third day fighting the fire, which blackened hillsides rom Porter Ranch to Sylmar, officials said. As of Saturday afternoon, the fire was 19% contained. Red flag warnings remain in effect until 6 p.m. Saturday, but Santa Ana winds were expected to be replaced by onshore sea breezes by late afternoon,

As I’ve already covered, the LGBT town hall hosted by CNN was a debacle for the Democrats. Their extremism, moral derangement, and disregard for liberty and basic human decency were put on display for all to see. Democratic presidential hopefuls applauded child abuse, announced plans to violate the First Amendment, and called for tax payer funding of genital mutilation procedures, among other things. Of course the moderators were only there to prop up and support the candidates. At no point was any candidate asked anything approaching a tough or penetrating question. "This is going to be one forum where you're going to hear very little disagreement between the candidates," former Vice President Joe Biden observed. He was absolutely correct. The event was a CNN town hall in Los Angeles Thursday night, where nine Democratic candidates were interviewed about their stances on LGBT issues. Those who tuned in for the four-and-a-half-hour show were treated, with few exceptions, to each candidate answering variations of the same questions in the same ways. What will they do about any continued discrimination against LGBT? They'll fight against it and support the Equality Act. What will they do about improving access to HIV drugs and preventative medication?

A few days after Donald Trump committed the worst foreign-policy blunder of his presidency by betraying America’s Kurdish allies in northern Syria, former vice president Joe Biden, the elder statesman and co-frontrunner in the Democratic presidential primary, was on a national stage talking to CNN’s primetime audience about “round-the-clock sex” at “gay bathhouses” in San Francisco. Biden was bumbling his way toward making a point that old stereotypes aren’t true, and he concluded that “gay couples are more likely to stay together longer than heterosexual couples.” Biden’s conclusion was not, you know, actually true according to social-science studies.

Joe Biden’s campaign can best be summed up as a game of dodgeball. Lately, he’s tried to “dodge, duck, dip, dive and dodge” questions about why entities in two foreign countries funneled millions of dollars to his son, despite Hunter’s lack of relevant experience for those “jobs.” Worse yet are the efforts by Democrats and many in media to provide cover for the Bidens by absurdly comparing Hunter to Ivanka Trump. When it comes to business background and resume: Plain and simple, there is no comparison. Hunter Biden is no Ivanka Trump.

And that was before the arrest of two foreign-born businessmen who reportedly helped Giuliani try to discredit former Vice President Joe Biden, the leading Democrat to take on Trump in next year’s election. Several reports have indicated Giuliani himself may be caught up in the probe.

If ESPN thought shutting down on-air discussion about China and Hong Kong would please its Chinese master and protect the commercial interests of itself and its corporate parent Disney, it’s dead wrong. What China wants is not simply to police a few words on social media or on air. It wants to control American culture, period. American culture’s global dominance and influence has long been the envy of the Chinese authorities. People around the world may not all like America’s policies, but most seem to have an insatiable appetite for McDonald’s, Taylor Swift, the NBA, and Hollywood movies, regardless of race, ethnicity, and cultural backgrounds.

A Democrat member of the Minnesota House of Representatives was among the far-left riffraff that harassed and intimidated Trump supporters as they left the Trump rally in Minneapolis Thursday night. Rep. Aisha Gomez (DFL) was seen consorting with a member of the antifa mob as he hurled profanities at Republicans as they drove by. Hundreds of leftists gathered outside of the Target Center in downtown Minneapolis to scream at Trump’s supporters and tell them to go home. Before the rally, a middle aged woman, her husband, and her 75-year-old mother were harassed by the vicious mob as they made their way into the venue, the Minneapolis Star-Tribune reported.

I am really sick of this. On Thursday, the president held a rally in Minneapolis and the violent left showed up to riot because our culture is laden with feeble-minded adultchildren who can’t control themselves and lash out violently when presented with something they don’t want to hear. And then they are rewarded. You don’t like the president? Fine hold up a sign, that’s cool. You want to “set fire to Make America Great Again hats and other memorabilia,” or “punch a Trump supporter in the back of the head as he left the rally” or assault rally attendees because they are “Nazis?” NO SIR. The reason progressive extremism persists in America today is because progressives either are making money by embracing progressive policies, or because progressives are not living on the front lines of progressive insanity. It is hard to imagine a place that would have an electorate any more progressive than Venice Beach. Located on the shores of West Los Angeles in California’s 33rd Congressional District, Venice Beach is represented by Democrat Ted Lieu, who was reelected in 2018 with 70 percent of the vote. But a revolution is brewing in Venice Beach, because Venice Beach is on the front lines of progressive insanity.
