Donald Trump has “become a potty-mouth and children are listening”, the House speaker, Nancy Pelosi, told Democrats, after the president accused Joe Biden of “only [being] a good vice-president because he understood how to kiss Barack Obama’s ass”. 'He has faults, but don't we all?': Trump supporters say he will defeat impeachment Read more Trump made the vulgar remark during a lengthy and typically idiosyncratic speech at a rally in Minnesota on Thursday. Pelosi leads House Democrats conducting a formal impeachment inquiry centered on Trump’s attempts to get Ukraine to investigate unfounded allegations of corruption involving Biden’s son. With Congress on recess, the speaker spoke to her caucus on a conference call on Friday.

Yes, but he's our potty-mouth, which is far better than being a potty-brain, Nan.

I am a Christian and uphold the teachings of Jesus from the New Testament. As Christians, we are told to remove all "filthy language" from our mouths (Ephesians 4:29; 5:3-4). Yes, our President curses... we all know that. I believe everyone that has been President in my life time has "cussed like a sailor" - some more in public than others. Not justifying any of this! I wish the President wouldn't curse, especially in public! And yet, for "abortionists" to cry for the moral police to attack their opponents... gets on my last nerve. Evangelicals have woken up and accepted that the people they are voting for is not so much their own personal character, but the policies they are advocating for the populace! Look at Jimmy Carter - many are persuaded that is personal morality may have been the best among recent crop of President, but... what did he do for and to the country? We couldn't wait to get him "out of there"! President Trump's policies are "spot on" for evangelicals (for the most part)... he stands clearly pro-life, pro religious speech and freedom, pro 2nd amendment and pro-Israel. He is trying to keep evil, wicked, hateful aliens out of our country and passing laws that favor individual advancement while lowering taxes. That is NOT the other party folks, I don't care how great a person of "personal character" they get... and, oh by the way, that last nominee they had... Hillary had a mouth that singe the hair off a frog!!!

They throw around the F word like they're saying "flowers"! She is the Biggest Phony in D.C.! All she cares about is keeping that Gavel in her withered hand for another term! Nancy, it is a tough world out there full of all sorts of corruption and foreign entities trying to take advantage of Uncle Sugar in a multitude of ways. So obviously the American people who voted in the 2016 election decided that it was time for America to be represented in that world by a street smart junkyard dog who would put America’s interests first 100% of the time, while getting things done, without being bought off by the special interests, or cow-towing to dangerous foreign governments and interests. Democrats must approach President Trump’s economy the way porcupines approach romance: Very carefully. They must attack it, but their attacks risk making them more vulnerable. Yet, even if they try to ignore it, they know it will be turned against them. Their predicament goes beyond being “damned-if-you-do-and-damned-if-you-don’t,” to “damned if I know.” History shows no issue works like a good economy when it comes to an incumbent president’s reelection. Over the last century, elected presidents seeking a second term are 11-3. Of the three elected incumbents who lost reelection — Hoover, Carter and George H.W. California Democratic Gov. Gavin Newsom signed 15 gun-related bills into law Friday, tightening the state's already-stringent Second Amendment restrictions. One of the bills, which expands a so-called "red flag" law to allow co-workers, employers and educators to seek gun violence restraining orders against firearms owners they fear are a danger to themselves and others, was vetoed twice by Newsom's predecessor, Jerry Brown. Newsom also signed a companion bill allowing the gun violence restraining orders to last one and five years, although the gun owners could petition to end those restrictions earlier. The bill also allows judges to issue search warrants at the same time as they grant the orders.

Democratic California Gov. Gavin Newsom has approved some of the strictest gun laws and gun seizure powers in the U.S. Friday, signing into law 15 different pieces of gun legislation. Newsom has reinforced a “red flag” law that enables educators, employers and co-workers to inform on gun owners and request that a restraining order be placed on them — if they are believed to be a danger to themselves or society, according to the Associated Press.(Photo) The bill was deemed to be to extreme even for Newsom’s predecessor, former Gov. Jerry Brown, who was also an enthusiastic advocate of gun control. Brown vetoed the legislation twice.
