President Donald Trump responded to Shepard Smith’s unexpected Friday afternoon resignation from Fox News in much the same manner he’d responded to former Utah Rep. Mia Love’s tragic defeat in the 2018 midterm elections.“Is he leaving? Oh, that’s a shame,” he said dismissively when asked by media conspiracy theorists outside the White House specifically about whether his administration had engineered Smith’s sudden resignation (to be clear, the resignation was voluntary). After Love lost her reelection battle last year, Trump responded just as dismissively, saying, “Mia Love gave me no love and she lost … too bad.

Drudge claimed the President "Celebrated." Drudge is no longer credible although he had a great run he is over.

Sure is weird how Shep left his post. I am willing to give him his dignity if he wants to claim it was voluntary, but I don't completely buy it. One of those snowflakes who can dish it out, but they sure can't handle the response. Hope he invested wisely. CNN or PMSNBC would be perfect for him and his Drama Queen antics though. We shall see. As to Mia, lie to the voters to get elected, and you might end up with the short end of the stick. People do not like being lied to Mia, and you did it big time. Good riddance.

I predict after he sits out the mandated time he will have a gig on MSNBC and he can talk all he wants against President Trump.
I hope the next to go is Brett Baer.

So, Shep was not gay before he was gay. Turns out he was married before to a woman of all things. He is a really good liar.

Shep suffered the same problem that Megyn Kelly did, could not get past the fact that Donald Trump was elected POTUS and let that hatred control his career. It must be really hard to balance the truth with Trump hatred because none of these Fox never-Trumpers have been able to do it. Neither have the democrats in Congress so it must be a powerful life-wrecking problem.

I will vote for Trump because of the good domestic and non regulatory things he has accomplished, and certainly because of the Democratic alternatives who would change the U.S. forever, but have to say that his behavior re: Smith (and I was NOT a Smith fan) is childish (plus Smith always won his ratings time placement) and his treatment of the Kurds and getting rolled by the Turks is horrendous! I wish to God the man would think before he opens his mouth---my husband and I both CRINGE. Plus, where is John Bolton when you need him. Read the lead editorial in Saturday's Wall Street Journal to see what Trump destroyed in terms of dealing with Erdogan by once again letting his vanity lead and going off script.

#8 - You are not alone. Trump’s rhetoric is indeed cringe worthy. He is crass and at times profane and demeans the office of the Presidency. We teach our children at an early age not to say every ridiculous thing that pops into their heads. Too much is at stake for such silliness.

#8 and #12, I guess it is pretty easy to criticize from afar. Yet, if you were having to endure the sleazy character tactics used on Donald Trump every day, you might see things a little different. Maybe not. I do know this that people like Sarah Palin, Donald Trump, Brett Kavanaugh, etc have had to put up with rude behavior that has gone beyond anything I know.

If he has anti Trump views, he is entitled to them. But he used his pos position to further fake propaganda of the MSM that he KNEW was false. That is a hanging offense.

One more response to add on to my original one. Please refer to next article about Joe Biden bringing town hall to a standstill with some of his comments. This is someone running for President talking about sex and what not. I really, really think these government people forget they are being paid with the taxes of our hard-earned paychecks.

Thank you to #13. If POTUS was more fairly treated by the media perhaps his rhetoric would be classier so #8 and #12 could feel better. He should and HAS to counter the insanity that the left throws at him every single minute of every single day. If he has to punch back in the same manner that he is treated then so be it and more power to him!!

Well the American people knew that President Trump is a junkyard dog who would always put America first and elected him. Obviously Shepherd Smith did not like that. We can see that Trump again put America first over foreign entities in his dealings with Turkey by withdrawing about fifty (50) US troops who were acting as observers along the Syrian-Turkish Border, after the Turkish President advised Trump that the Turkish Armed Forces were going to initiate a ground attack across that border and into Northern Syria to defeat their centuries old Kurdish enemies.
If Trump had not done that, those American soldiers could have been killed through the fortunes of ground combat since small units like that would easily be overrun during a big ground attack. Even though Trump’s order only effected a very small number of US troops (50) the anti-Trump media falsely reported that Trump had abandoned the Kurds, that he had ordered the withdrawal of US Troops from Syria, and even from the region. None of that was true, and US forces are still supporting the Kurds on the ground in Northern Syria with the US advise to the Kurds being that they should negotiate an agreement with Turkey instead of engaging in an endless shooting war with a country that they have zero chance of defeating. So far the Kurds have ignored that US advise.
As far as Shepherd Smith is concerned, him being gay was not the reason he left the Fox News Channel, as we will find out in the future, when it is announced that he has signed a big gig with some other media entity. In that respect, has anyone noticed that for the last few days that the Fox News Channel has been continuously airing a LGBTQ commercial that claims that babies are the true victims resulting from anti-LGBTQ “unlawful” discrimination, probably to try to influence the decision of the US Supreme Court in a pending case?

I remember when I stopped watching Sheppy. It was his over-wrought Katrina coverage. That was before this nutcase came out of the closet.

Perhaps #8 should find his or her "facts" somewhere besides the Wall Street Urinal. That rag hasn't been reliable in a long, long, long time!
