Democratic California Gov. Gavin Newsom has approved some of the strictest gun laws and gun seizure powers in the U.S. Friday, signing into law 15 different pieces of gun legislation. Newsom has reinforced a “red flag” law that enables educators, employers and co-workers to inform on gun owners and request that a restraining order be placed on them — if they are believed to be a danger to themselves or society, according to the Associated Press.(Photo) The bill was deemed to be to extreme even for Newsom’s predecessor, former Gov. Jerry Brown, who was also an enthusiastic advocate of gun control. Brown vetoed the legislation twice.

I cannot imagine a more communist; more horrible place to live. Weather and scenery does not override freedom, and the Kalifornians gave theirs up. Our failed experiment in self government has failed even faster there.

Imagine that! Take away their guns, turn off their electricity and stop their electric cars all within a few days.

I'm sorry, I'm still wiping tears of schadenfreude from my eyes at the thought of all the dead Teslas littering the wokest parts of Northern California after the power outages. It's. Just. So. Beautiful.

Keeping in mind that there are dangerous people out there, to themselves and other innocent people, who should not be in the possession of firearms or any other dangerous weapons. Any gun control law authorizing the seizure of lawfully possessed firearms that does not afford a gun owner due process, including a court hearing to overcome the allegations made by others, and the ability to recover seized firearms, should be ruled unconstitutional.

I guess this means that all the gang members in LA will immediately be hearing knocks on their doors to check for Red Flags.

California is a Kalif in the middle east style. Look up the etymology of California if you have doubts. I was telling my wife about this new law. "Let's see. Someone is angry, so you report them and they take that person's guns away. Guess: Is that person now calmer, or is that person angrier?" An additional thought: Wouldn't it be better if they just assigned that gun owner to one of California's infamous anger management support groups?

Okay! I'm confused. If the Constitution says we have the right to Bear Arms, Does that mean it excludes the people who live in California? What right does the Governor have to take away guns?

Cancel someone's constitutional right based on the say so of a stranger? This is unconstitutional.

But Newsom, Pelosi, or Feinstein still have done nothing about the homelessness, poverty, drug addicts and needles in the street, infrastructure, water, forest management, electricity supplies. I would think some of that would be precedent to taking guns from people that aren't doing anything but minding their own business. What about all those illegal aliens driving the roads with no insurance? Newsom, what are you going to do?

Every state has its problems. Much of it is the same trouble, including the gun grabbers. CA will solve its problems and become one of the crown jewels again, of that I have no doubt. CA has some of the best and brightest. Some of them post on this site and they are fighters. They know it's worth the fight. It may turn out that CA will show us the way out of our own.
There was a poster on this site from CA. Kevin, he was a CAP Marine. A real warrior for Christ. He was a friend when I was in need. He dug in and fought like there was no tomorrow.

I left California for Florida in July. Never looking back never going back. Californians need to send all Democrats packing if the hope to save their liberty and their state. Democrats are proving they are scum.
