Judges Order Trump Admin to Fund SNAP
— There's Just One Problem

Two federal judges have just ruled that the Trump administration must use contingency funds for the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP). [Tweets] Here's more: Two federal judges ruled nearly simultaneously on Friday that President Donald Trump’s administration must to continue to fund SNAP, the nation’s biggest food aid program, using contingency funds during the government shutdown. (Snip) Talwani is the same judge who blocked Congress from defunding Planned Parenthood earlier this year and, as some pointed out, has no authority over Congressional spending.

Comments:

These morons need a Constitutional refresher course!! The judiciary is a SEPARATE branch of government and has ZERO power to tell Congress how to spend money!!!

It's time for Congress to use its constitutional authority to remove these judges. Congress created these judgeships. They can abolish them if they choose not to not use the impeachment process.

PDT needs to start telling these judges who to find guilty and who to free. He also needs to tell them how to rule. Let's see how they like another branch of government telling them how to do their jobs and let's see how long it takes for them to declare that they are a separate branch of government!

Simple solution for the Trumpster to solve this problem. Just have each judge send their bank acct. # and bank ABA # to the federal gov't. and checks can start following tomorrow.

We have seen this movie before. Libs shop around for a liberal judge who hates Trump. Judge rules against Trump. * Trump appeals and wins. That being said, Schumer was about to cave on funding SNAP independent of the shutdown, but now he will likely wait and see how this plays out. * Judge did not take into account the rules guiding use of emergency funding.

Michelle Obama really wants you to know she's a victim. That's been the theme for her over the last several years, whether it be during interviews or on her incredibly grating podcast. Most recently, speaking to ABC News "journalist" Gayle King, who is always chosen for these softball sessions for a reason, the former First Lady decried her time in the White House, claiming she and her family were given a "lack of grace" that other presidential families received. [Tweet, video] KING: "We were all too aware that as the first black couple, we couldn't afford any mistakes."

When Joe Scarborough, who is not a fan of Donald Trump, must step in—you know it isn’t good. The Democratic Party is so obsessed with the Jeffrey Epstein files because they’re hoping to weaponize anything to damage the president. It won’t work. First, all the victims who have come forward said Trump wasn’t involved in any of the alleged illicit sexual activity that’s associated with the dead, depraved New York financier. Second, if this is all you have, your party, your brand, and your messaging sucks. Rep. Seth Moulton (D-MA) accused Trump of engaging in illegal sexual activity with minors on MSNBC.

Judge James Boasberg's chickens may finally be coming home to roost. The Obama-nominated chief judge of the United States District Court for D.C. now faces impeachment articles that Rep. Brandon Gill (R-Tex.) filed, thanks to explosive revelations surrounding Operation Arctic Frost—a coordinated effort that saw 197 subpoenas unleashed against Republicans in Congress and citizens during the Biden administration. The specifics make your blood boil. Then-Special Counsel Jack Smith sought Sen. Ted Cruz's communications from AT&T, and Boasberg rubber-stamped the request. But here's where it gets really ugly: Boasberg issued an order explicitly prohibiting AT&T from notifying Cruz that his records were being seized.

John Fetterman is done playing nice. The Pennsylvania senator has decided to light his own colleagues on fire over the ongoing government shutdown—and frankly, it's about time someone did. While Senate Democrats have spent the past month pretending the crisis is all the GOP’s fault, Fetterman has blown up that narrative by calling it what it is: self-inflicted chaos. In a stunning interview with CNN’s Manu Raju, Fetterman didn’t just criticize the Democratic Party line—he bulldozed it. “Americans are not leverage,” he said, as food assistance programs teetered on collapse with SNAP benefits hours away from drying up. “This is not some sh—y gameshow about who’s winning or whatever.”

One of the talking points Democrats have been hammering over the last couple of weeks of the Schumer Shutdown is that the USDA allegedly has contingency funding for SNAP that it could release before benefits run out, which will happen on November 1st.
