The Democratic Party is so obsessed with the Jeffrey Epstein files because they’re hoping to weaponize anything to damage the president. It won’t work. First, all the victims who have come forward said Trump wasn’t involved in any of the alleged illicit sexual activity that’s associated with the dead, depraved New York financier. Unfortunately, Democrats started this whole shutdown because they don’t care about Americans; they prefer to hold the federal government hostage to insist on healthcare for illegal aliens and loads of unnecessary pork funding for foreign nations. But even many of the Democrats’ voters are upset now with the possible end to welfare benefits, and O’Brien urged Democrats to face reality and do their jobs.

Speaker of the House Mike Johnson, who doesn't have stake in the debate, nevertheless pointed out the consequences of getting rid of the filibuster, listing action items the Democrats would be able to pass with a simple majority.

Both the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) and the Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) have been under threat as the budget impasse in Congress continues. SNAP was slated for suspension on Nov. 1 when the federal SNAP funding mechanism ran out. An appropriation bill must be passed to fund it.
