A Colorado athlete who once vied for a spot on the US Olympic shot put team allegedly stabbed her Uber driver to death, dumping his body in a field — because she felt “cooped up” and wanted to go for a “joy ride,” according to police. Khayla Dawson, 27, who competed at the USA Olympic Trials last year, is accused of fatally plunging a butcher knife into 38-year-old rideshare driver Jeremy Campbell’s neck before stealing his car and wallet Sunday, according to the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office. Dawson(snip)was identified as the last person on Campbell’s driving list at 11:45 p.m. Sunday

She's about as smart as the shot she used to put...Called him, killed him, dumped him where the body was easy to find, took his car straight back ti her own apt, kept the wallet, barely hidden,.....then claimed the guy tried to "Sex her up"??? really? I can perhaps see a scenario where SHE tried to sex HIM up...was declined... triggered the "Hell hath no fury" clause in the social contract.

Mamdani carried 50.4% of votes to Andrew Cuomo’s 41.3% at around 9:40 p.m. The projection — which came with 75% of votes counted — also found GOP nominee Curtis Sliwa with rock-bottom 7.5%. The Uganda-born Mamdani will be the Big Apple’s first Muslim and first socialist mayor, as well as one of the youngest.
