Fired CBS News producer claims only 'people

A black producer laid off from CBS News this week has accused the company of racism by saying that all of his fired fellow colleagues were 'people of color.' Trey Sherman made the claim in a viral video posted to his TikTok account Wednesday, after CBS News' parent company announced sweeping layoffs across the organization. Sherman had worked for the now-cancelled 'CBS Evening News+' since February, as well as the network's just-eliminated Race and Culture Unit. 'Every person who gets to stay and will be relocated within the company is a white person.' Sherman then recounted a meeting he said

Comments:

The Race and Culture division was shuttered so I'm not surprised it was staffed with DEI hires. 2,000 people were axed so I doubt this guy knows the fate of every person who got a pink slip.

If there's a shred of credibility to these claims that will withstand scrutiny in a court of law, then Ms. Weiss' tenure at the helm of CBS News will be very short.

If they were DEI hires, they started out their jobs due to racism. Seems like a mistake was corrected is all. No other context to go on except race is given, which is itself revealing.

It's simple. All the people of color turned out to be the least competent and least valuable employees. If Weiss manages to move CBS even a tiny, tiny bit towards the right, CBS will suddenly be labeled a NAZI, fascist, racist bastion of white supremacy, hatred, and evil by the Left.

FTA "It wasn't until I went downstairs thinking that me and all of my colleagues had been laid off that I found out that it was only the people of color,' he said." #7 is correct. Trey's grammar is atrocious! Remove "and all of my colleagues" from his statement and it's very apparent he's not that educated and not that bright. DEI all the way. #6 expressed Trey's attitude extremely well. I'm sure that all other DEI hires share that attitude.
