The National Guard is building a “quick reaction force” (QRF) of some 23,500 troops trained in crowd control and civil disturbance that can be ready to deploy to U.S. cities by early next year, according to a leaked memo reported by multiple outlets Wednesday.

The Department of Energy is finalizing a $1.5 billion loan for a first-of-its-kind project that will transform a shuttered Indiana coal plant into a fertilizer plant, the Washington Free Beacon has learned.
The project's developer, Wabash Valley Resources, will use coal from a southern Indiana mine and petcoke, a byproduct of refined crude oil, to produce 500,000 metric tons of fertilizer a year, according to the Department of Energy. The project, which will use existing infrastructure, could help shore up domestic fertilizer production and reduce America's heavy reliance on fertilizer imports from countries like Russia. The United States imported $8.7 billion worth of fertilizer in 2024.

The Washington Examiner has uncovered deep connections between the Chavista regime in Venezuela and Black Lives Matter (BLM), an organization that presents itself as a defender of racial rights but, according to documented evidence, has served as a vehicle for foreign Marxist agendas.
It all began in late 2012, when Hugo Chávez, the eternal father of 21st-century socialism, ordered the delivery of at least $20 million in suitcases filled with cash to Opal Tometi, one of the three co-founders of BLM alongsidePatrisse Cullors and Alicia Garza.
