I'm so hardcore right-wing that I consider Genghis Khan a sissy femboy, but I must confess my adoration for Sen. Susan Collins. You know Susan Collins? She's a Republican from Maine, which is a lot like finding leftovers in Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker's fridge. It's theoretically possible, but you never truly expect to see it actually happen. And yet it has happened. For five six-year terms, the good people of the Maple Syrup 'n Moose State have sent this Republican off to Washington, D.C. She's now running for a sixth term, in which, next November, she'll face either Herr Obergruppendoofus Graham Platner (D-Nuremberg) or Gov. Janet Mills (D-Sunny Acres).

Really puts it into perspective... There will never be a conservative Republican from Maine in the Senate. There will only be Susan Collins agreeing with Republicans 75% or the time; or a Democrat voting with Democrats 100% of the time.

Not getting off “Scott” free. An Alabama police force playfully exacted revenge against a group of high schoolers who had covered their department headquarters — along with the rest of the town — with toilet paper as part of an elaborate senior prank. Heflin Police Chief Ross McGlaughn vowed to get back on the Class of 2026 when the students launched their overnight TP attack across the small Alabama city. The police department’s main building was dressed with rolls of toilet paper that covered the entrance, squad cars and the roof. “It’s just fun,” the student leaders told CBS News on Friday. “Adrenaline rush.

At least nineteen people were shot, three of them fatally, over the course of the past weekend in Democrat-run Chicago. Breitbart News reported at least 11 people were shot Friday into Saturday night alone, and one of those shooting victims succumbed to his wounds. By Monday, CBS News noted the tally of wounded reached at least 16 and at least two additional shooting fatalities had occurred. The first of the two additional shooting fatalities occurred “in the 4100 block of West Jackson Boulevard” at 3:10 p.m. on Saturday. A 23-year-old man was inside a vehicle when someone shot him in the chest, killing him.

A college financial aid advisor allegedly strangled his girlfriend before setting fire to their upstate New York home while she and their newborn baby were inside, according to authorities and reports. Kidane Haile, 30, was indicted Thursday after a horrific scene unfolded at 8:35 a.m. on Oct. 18 when Buffalo firefighters responded to a blaze at an apartment on Norwood Avenue, the Erie County District Attorney’s Office said in a statement. Inside the home, first responders found Haile’s girlfriend, 29-year-old Kathleen “Katie” Carrig, and their 4-day-old son, Noah, unresponsive. Both the mother and son were pronounced dead on the scene, prosecutors said. Haile strangled Carrig before setting the house ablaze, prosecutors alleged.

The truth is under there. A popular UFO-reporting app has recorded thousands of sightings of Unidentified Submersible Objects (USOs) near US waterways — phenomena which high-ranking US Navy officials warn could pose a threat to national security. Enigma, which touts itself as the “largest queryable historical sighting database for global UFO sightings,” claims it has received reports on over 30,000 Unidentified Flying Objects and Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena since launching in late 2022. But the sightings haven’t been limited to the skies, with reports also coming in about strange objects rising from the depths of the sea, or plunging into the water without so much as a splash.
