King Charles III on Thursday initiated a formal process to remove the style, titles and honours of Prince Andrew. Prince Andrew will now be known as Andrew Mountbatten Windsor, according to a statement from Buckingham Palace. "His lease on Royal Lodge has, to date, provided him with legal protection to continue in residence," according to the statement. "Formal notice has now been served to surrender the lease and he will move to alternative private accommodation." Not that it matters but I thought 'Prince' was a fact and not a title and therefore it couldn't be removed. Doesn't it just denote the child of a Monarch?

Now do Harry and the Markle woman. Andrew's loss of title and stuff is nice. A maid that worked there once said she had to climb four flights of stairs to pull a curtain in place because the sun was in his eyes. All he had to do was stand up and walk two steps. I hope when, when not if, the Markles lose their titles and such, someone is filming her face when it' happens.

#3, it's a title that can be removed At least one prince has lost his title before; he was fighting in WWI for the Germans. The title carries certain privileges in British society, and they don't want Randy Andy to have those, so the title has to go. Think of it as being disowned in a very public manner.

I had the same thought #3. Because Andrew is the son of a queen, he is a prince regardless of his behavior and that title cannot be stripped from him although every other title he has can be.

Andrew is most fortunate that his Monarch is Charles III and not Henry VIII. Henry would have dealt with the churl much more decisively.

The Windsors throw one of their own under the bus and then back up over him a couple of times to, hoping to save their monarchy..... and maybe it won't work this time. Why take the word of a teen-age trollop? Could be that prince and the trollop were equally consenting, their common ground being stupidity. She wakes up to reality the next morning.... oh no, he wasn't that good....

I'm not sure I completely believe the gal's story that she was abused by him. She probably gloried in being with a prince and consented even though underage. She likely changed her mind later when she discovered she could make money off it.

He will always biologically be a prince due to his birth but if stripped of the legal title, he can no longer use it on correspondence or be addressed as Prince Andrew. He wasn't called "Randy Andy" for no reason. The tabloids will have a field day with this. Trump can probably recommend him to that McDonald's he used in his campaign.

When you are a grown "man" knowingly having sexual intercourse with underage women, your titles will be taken away and you will be known as a perv. Thinking twice about your acts? Too late, the Grim Reaper takes delight in "snatching" a perv. Your divorced wife, Sarah Ferguson, that you've been living together with since 2008, is only with you for the trappings of whatever power she can find. You are "toast".

Ok, I’m no of Andrew but people here seem to be missing the point, he was a single man who had sex with a young prostitute she wasn’t underage in the Uk so he’s not a kiddy fiddler. She had sex with many men so who are they? Where are they? He’s being scapegoated to cover for all the others. Wake up.

In the wake of Hurricane Melissa, everyone should be praying for rapid relief to many who suffered injuries or the loss of loved ones (at least 49 died), homes, businesses, and other property, likely to surpass $8 billion. At the same time, we can be thankful that losses were far lower than they might have been, since its path didn’t include areas with far more people and property. Having wrought havoc in Jamaica as a Category 5 hurricane, followed by Haiti, eastern Cuba, and parts of the Bahamas (all Cat-3), Melissa was on its way northeast into the open Atlantic, with Bermuda likely to suffer from it as well,

Leftists were upset that Newsom was platforming someone who, in their view, was the very definition of an evil conservative. And there was disagreement on the right on Kirk choosing to break bread with Newsom. Some said Kirk shouldn't give Newsom the time of day because the governor was clearly trying to give off the appearance that he was more of a middle-of-the-road guy ahead of a possible 2028

Pretty much every calculation you have ever seen relating to “green” energy–cost estimates, productivity claims, and so on–has been wrong. “Green” energy really is a scam, as President Trump says. In documents published before an auction of green energy subsidies this week, officials said they were revising down the predicted efficiency of wind turbines by more than
