Be Careful Out There: ICE Arrests Yet
Another Illegal Driving an 18-Wheeler

This is sure to make you think twice before you merge onto the interstate anytime soon. The U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) said it has arrested in Oklahoma an illegal immigrant named Anmol Anmol, who was driving a tractor trailer with a New York State-issued commercial driver’s license (CDL). While the license appears to have an actual photo of the driver, the name section just says “Anmol No Name Given.” That’s right. To get his CDL to operate an 18-wheeler, he either couldn’t give his name due to the language barrier or he refused to give his name.

Comments:

ANOTHER one!! And another "no name given" CDL from New York!!

I hope that Homeland Security is able to set up shop at several of the truck weigh stations on Rt 81 in PA.

If you or I tried to get a CDL using "No Name Given" we'd be laughed out of the DL office, or arrested on the spot.

If the DEA can confiscate cars, trucks, boats, or planes used in the commission of smuggling crimes, why can't a truck driven by a dangerous driver with fraudulent CDL be subject to seizure? They can be auctioned, with the proceeds to fund more and better weight stations...with law enforcement capabilities. The trucking companies can get their trucks back---provided they are the high bidder. This would stop the problem right quick.

The Federal DOJ needs to sue any and all States that give out CDLs in such reckless manner, because once they're on our nation's Interstate Highway network, they're nothing but "manual guidance" for a multi-ton missile.

New York Attorney General Letitia James, long known for her partisan crusade against Donald Trump, has now hired one of Washington’s most notorious Democratic fixers to defend her from criminal charges of her own. James has hired Abbe Lowell — the same high-powered D.C. attorney who represented Hunter Biden — to fight off a federal indictment accusing her of mortgage fraud. According to the indictment, James falsified loan documents when she bought a home in Virginia, netting approximately $19,000 in savings. Lowell issued a brief statement Thursday, declaring that his client “flatly and forcefully denies these charges.”

Sunday on CNN’s “State of the Union,” Sen. Ruben Gallego (D-AZ) called Secretary of War Pete Hegseth a “laughing stock.” Host Jake Tapper said, “You’re a veteran, so I would be remiss if I didn’t ask you what you thought of Secretary Hegseth and President Trump’s discussion before the generals at Quantico?” Gallego said, “I think it’s absolutely ridiculous. It was number one — it politicizes more the military, which is what you don’t want to do. As someone who has sat in briefings of that nature, it really tells you what’s happening. You know, it’s definitely clear that the Secretary of Defense is trying to compensate for something.

My Mom, a child of the Depression and a young adult during World War 2, even in the Reagan era, was not a fan of the legacy media, then, pretty much the only media. She didn't trust them too much, and she was fond of an (apocryphal) quote from WW2, from U.S. Navy Admiral William "Bull" Halsey, who, when asked by an aide what he should tell the press about an upcoming operation, replied, "Tell them nothing. When it's over, tell them who won." That's how military communications should be carried out. There's a level of security that should be taken for granted, and that means, in certain cases,

In the movie “As Good As It Gets,” Jack Nicholson was asked how he writes female characters so well. His answer, hilariously, was, “I think of man, and then I take away reason and accountability.” That is exactly what it is like to talk with a Democrat. They honestly live on a different planet, which is fine. The problem comes in when they try to force everyone else to live in that world – normal people aren’t interested in pretending there’s no difference between boys and girls, as none of us would be here without that difference, and we’re big fans of that difference –

Painted in 1944 by marine artist Lt.
