The Israeli government published a list of the convicted Palestinian terrorists it agreed to release as part of the ceasefire-and-hostage deal that took effect Friday — and it includes murderers with shocking records. The list, published the morning after the cabinet approved the US-backed ceasefire deal, includes members of the Hamas, Palestinian Islamic Jihad, Fatah and the Popular Front terror groups, responsible for dozens of deadly terror attacks, but does not include some key terror chiefs Hamas has demanded, including popular Fatah figure Marwan Barghouti.

"Hamas has demanded?" This agreement will be broken by Hamas within days but Trump and Netanyahu gave it their best shot. We also won't see 20 live hostages. You do not negotiate with terrorists, especially muslim terrorists.

At the hostage exchange, Israel should calculate the percentage of the Israeli hostages that are dead and release the same percentage of dead hostages to Hamas. I would really like to understand why Israel always agrees to the many for one deal when it comes to hostages for prisoners. This policy seems to encourage hostage taking. Perhaps Palestinian prisoners are a pain in the butt to take care of.

The Price of Peace
If it actually brought peace, it would be bad enough.
But, anyone who believes it will is delusional.
Easy prediction?
Hamas will rebuild.
Hamas will attack Israel.
Israel will be blamed.
Another "peace" deal will be celebrated.
Wash, rinse, repeat...

Israel does this all the time. I will never understand the logic behind it. I hope the terrorists are released into Indonesia or some other far off Muslim country and not into Gaza.

Why does Israel repeat this? The US puts serious pressure on Israel to do so. Israel wants peace as well as others. Why do do we tolerate 100s of thousands of radical muslims in our country tearing at its very fabric? Because we want peace; yet there is little doubt that we face civil war to bring us peace. We are large country. The radical muslims have been located throughout our country which enable them to cause strife and chaos but we don't feel the damage at a national level. There are many small fires that will grow. President Trump is a great leader, probably the greatest, but I wish he would focus a little more on our country. The DOJ (Bondi and Patel), as he had admitted, are not getting the job done. It will takes years to clean out the corruption and we have pretty well lost the first year.

Maybe those bloodthirsty Palestinian murderers will leave Gaza and make their way to either the U.K. or the USA and claim asylum where the liberals and socialists will move to allow them to walk the streets and protest law enforcement. That’s not unheard of these days!

In an ideal world not a single one of these blood thirty monsters should ever see daylight. But we don't live in an ideal world. PDT has put pressure on Israel with exactly this same reason. Hypocritical as they maybe, 188 out of 191 members of the UN cannot be ignored. Especially if close important allies such as UK, France, Canada, Australia are abandoning you. How much can just Israel and US fight on? The task now is to save whatever peace we have and not let it get worse.

Israel will have to kill them, eventually. Taking terrorists as prisoners is a very bad idea.

Hubris is going to lead to a very painful time for Israel. This is a terrible idea!

OK, L-Dotter, tell me....
Has anyone started a betting pool, wagering the date that HAMAS first attacks and violates the agreement?
We KNOW it's not a question of IF, but of WHEN.
The only saving grace to the whole things is that WHEN HAMAS attacks, Israel has the 'green light' to obliterate them.

If the situation were reversed, those hostages would have been killed and bodies returned.

OK, L-Dotters, tell me:
Has anyone started a 'pool', wagering on the date on which HAMAS violates the agreement and attacks?
We KNOW it's not a matter of 'IF", but of 'WHEN'.
After all, HAMA has sworn to destroy Israel, and they will not give that up. it is their whole reason for being.
The only saving grace to the whole arrangement is that WHEN HAMAS attacks, Israel has the 'green light' to obliterate them.
Eliminating HAMAS is the only way that there is even a chance for peace.

With any luck, Israel implanted, "Pagers," in them, shortly before release. /s

If Israel were like their enemies they would just release all the bodies...and you know Ham-Ass can't keep an agreement..they will just arm up and probably pull another Oct 7th...as #1 said, you don't negotiate with terrorists..especially when they want to cut off your head...there is no living alongside of them...

Many terrorists for a few hostages is a great way to absolutely guarantee future hostage-taking as a top priority. As awful as that is, the way all this is being handled makes certain that it will continue. Of course, one really only has to follow the money when one wonders why something happens. There are high level people making serious coin from this conflict.
I actually liked Netanyahu's original statement after the attacks, "Gaza will become a tent city.". But that would break the cash conveyors, so that won't happen. It's gone much further than I'd expected though.
