The cost for that Disney magic is going up. Walt Disney World has confirmed that it is raising prices on its theme park tickets, annual passes, and on some annual pass renewals.
Disney World previously implemented "dynamic pricing," which means daily tickets to its theme parks vary by theme park, day, and demand. That will continue. Beginning during the 2026 holiday season, Disney confirmed that the highest ticket price point – only on its busiest days – could top $200 per person for a one-park, one-day ticket.

You are a stupid fool to spend $1629, no matter what they are offering. Yet....one born everyday.

Incredible. The last time we went, we were quite disappointed in the condition of everything, kind of shabby and worn, many of the 'tech displays' in one area didn't work and all the tech was very dated and old fashioned.

Forget about them. Go to Dollywood in the beautiful Smokey Mountains instead. Cheaper, family oriented and stunning views. No contest.

We went to Disney World in 1989 when the kids were small. For what we got, the day passes we bought were a rip-off even then.

Well, they gotta figure out some way to pay for all the disastrous movie debacles they have produced in the last few years. Extracting it from the pockets of parents who spoil their kids is probably the easiest way

My hairdresser a self-proclaimed "Disney addict" told me recently that she and her family were taking their last Disney trip this month. Their next trip is to Pigeon Forge, TN and Dollywood. There's more there than just Dollywood, and as #3 says it is a beautiful area, cheaper and family-oriented.

I'm done with Disneyland. My now late* wife and I spent an afternoon and evening there about 6 years ago, before they went woke. It's a wonderful memory, and I haven't had any desire to go back, even if the admission was free.
*. The Covid vax, which has been proven to be unsafe, and less than ineffective, killed her.

I found that the best way to enjoy Disney venues is to be middle-aged and don't take any kids with you.
Of course, the last time I went to one was last century.

You have to be pretty stupid to pay $200 dollars to stand in line 90% of the time you are there and to pay triple for food and drink.

We went last year. It was still great. I'm sure these prices have nothing to do with the record low crowds they're seeing though.

I already refuse to go to those places. You dont need to give me more reasons. I wouldn't pay that much for an intimate evening with my favorite movie star.

My brother in law worked as an electrician when Disney World was being built. We went as a family maybe two or three years later. It was awesome. I actually rode the merry go round with my big behind on one of those horses. We did It's a Small World and it was generally a fantastic day. You couldn't pay me enough now to go. I refuse anything Disney. I won't support the perverts they've become.

Not happening for us.
It was the chubby male in a plunging-neckline "Cinderella" dress that we saw in a news story that did it for us.
"He" had a mustache, beard, and a hairy chest.
No dice, at any admission price.

What family can pay those prices? They are going to price themselves out of a business.

I doubt I'll ever go back. I visited Disney Land as a child, and it was almost magical. I visited Disney World as an adult with a ten year old son, and it was... disappointing. Half the places we wanted to see were under maintenance. They were having Gay Pride Week, which was not advertised when we were arranging for our visi, and though that made us uncomfortable, it wasn't a deal breaker. There was an awful lot of "Toot my own Horn". But everything was... dull.
They started the whole grooming thing more recently and it's creepy, not cute, people. I think even if they reversed to the old Family-oriented Disney, I wouldn't bother. They are tainted.
