Nobel Snubs Trump After Year of Peacemaking;
Award Goes to Venezuelan Opposition Leader

The committee chose to focus on Venezuela in a year where U.S. President Donald Trump featured heavily in speculation as to the overall winner, given his unceasing efforts to bring peace to a variety of conflicts around the world. Trump said previously it would be an “insult” to the United States if he did not win the Nobel Peace Prize and he has been backed in his quest by a host of other nations, as Breitbart News reported. “She is receiving the Nobel Peace Prize for her tireless work promoting democratic rights for the people of Venezuela, and for her struggle to achieve a just and peaceful transition from dictatorship to democracy,”

The Nobel Committee's excuse will be that Trump was nominated past the deadline for submission for consideration or what he did occurred after the deadline. They will say he can be nominated for next year's prize but will then use the excuse that what he did occurred in the past and shouldn't be considered. This is the same group that awarded Obama the prize for nothing .TDS rules the Nobel Committee.

The whole idea was to insult Trump. Euroweenies hate him for his success. Not a valid prize any more since it went to a Kenyan communist for his "potential" which was never realized.

The Nobel Peace Prize is awarded by the Norwegian Nobel Committee, which consists of five members. As of 2025, the committee members are Jørgen Watne Frydnes (Chair), Asle Toje (Vice Chair), Anne Enger, Kristin Clemet, and Gry Larsen. They prove once again that they are not about peace, only politics.

America's affluence, liberty, unmatched influence in world affairs has always been a thorn in the side of Europeans. They said they gave it to 0bama because they saw his potential. To do harm to America. And they were right. Trump is systematically undoing that harm and restoring American influence. The Nobel Committee will loath that more than the Democrats. No surprises here.

Trump received nominations for the Peace Prize in time for Last Year’s prize, not this year’s, so he really has not been snubbed by the Nobel Prize committee. At least, not with regard to all that he has done so far in his second term. Let’s wait and see what the committee does next year. I expect they will be unable to get past TDS and will ignore any nominations to give Trump the peace prize.

Honestly who cares about the Nobel peace Prize? Do you remember who won last year? The year before? Who was your high school prom king? It may be nice epitaph on your grave marker but beyond that its to satisfy egos. Like Trump needs that. Even taking into account his ego. Once they gave it to an unremarkable Kenyan with little significant impact on world politics it rendered this "prestigious" award to the equivalent of a third grade soccer participation trophy found in millions of damp cardboard boxes in mom and dads basement.

No surprise buy who cares? They've given it Arafat, a life long terrorist. To Obama for literally doing nothing. To Al Gore for being a loser. To Jimmy Carter for encouraging Middle East terrorism by doing nothing about the Iranian hostages and making us look weak and vulnerable to savages. To Kofi Annan for being useless. And de Klerk for turning South Africa over to a gang of violent corrupt racists. This is not a club anyone should want to be a member of.

The prize has become irrelevant. This is just another political snub like giving it to BO instead of a more worthy recipient. It should be given only to outstanding STEM individuals anyway and leave the "peace" category out of it. That one will never be worth anything in the future. Trump should just laugh it off and make a light, funny joke about it. Either that or just ignore it entirely. The committee is only cheapening any legitimacy that it ever had.

How many of those gold medallions have been given out over the decades for "Peace in the Middle east Efforts" that did NOT achieve actual peace? Or ones given for "Peace in other conflicts/regions" that was never achieved? "Someone", not Trump himself, should demand that ALL of those be rescinded, returned, melted down, and the full WEIGHT of them cast into a larger medal, then given to Trump.(Demanding/doing this should not be initiated UNTIL actual Peace has existed for 1 full year)

My hope was that the Nobel committee would award it to Trump, then Trump would refuse to accept it and publicly state it was because the Committee rendered the prize absolutely worthless when they awarded it to Barack Hussein Obama for doing absolutely nothing other than be half black and winning an election. And then look what he did.........the Nobel Committee should be embarrassed to show their faces.

The global economy is finally waking up to the risks from authoritarian economics. As China imposes critical mineral and lithium battery export restrictions on the U.S. and the world, one must ask: Why did anyone ever trust a mercantilist dictatorship like the Chinese Communist Party to be the world’s main supplier of so many critical goods? To make matters worse, as China limits its critical exports to weaken our defenses, it also floods the world with overproduced cars and heavily subsidized steel, shutting out market-oriented producers. In yesterday’s Breitbart Business Digest, we examined a new working paper from Jared Bernstein and Daniel Posthumus that documented the decline of U.S. manufacturing employment, particularly the devastating 2000-2010 “China Shock” period when 5.7 million factory jobs disappeared. While the authors called this period “destructive” and urged preventing future shocks, they insisted that “sweeping” tariffs were not the right policy. Their reasoning was undermined by a significant contradiction: they claim tariffs would disrupt American manufacturing because we’re too dependent on foreign inputs, yet they simultaneously advocate for subsidies for sectors vulnerable to foreign export controls.

The cost for that Disney magic is going up. Walt Disney World has confirmed that it is raising prices on its theme park tickets, annual passes, and on some annual pass renewals. Disney World previously implemented "dynamic pricing," which means daily tickets to its theme parks vary by theme park, day, and demand. That will continue. Beginning during the 2026 holiday season, Disney confirmed that the highest ticket price point – only on its busiest days – could top $200 per person for a one-park, one-day ticket.

An activist and self-described 2028 presidential candidate is offering free homes for his allies to move to a GOP-leaning Texas county and change its electoral makeup to support — as he puts it — “melanated people” like himself. The Vancouver Parks and Recreation board voted unanimously to apologize for the Harry Potter: A Forbidden Forest Experience event set to open on November 7 in Vancouver’s Stanley Park after hearing from members of Vancouver’s 2SLGBTQ+ Advisory Committee. In the X post below, Ms. Rowling advises the board how to ratchet up the pain. The upshot of her advice is that she could not care less, and yet she has delivered her message with a wit that probably exceeds the board’s capacity for comprehension. The Vancouver Sun helpfully

The Israeli government published a list of the convicted Palestinian terrorists it agreed to release as part of the ceasefire-and-hostage deal that took effect Friday — and it includes murderers with shocking records. The list, published the morning after the cabinet approved the US-backed ceasefire deal, includes members of the Hamas, Palestinian Islamic Jihad, Fatah and the Popular Front terror groups, responsible for dozens of deadly terror attacks, but does not include some key terror chiefs Hamas has demanded, including popular Fatah figure Marwan Barghouti.
