There’s a strange, unsettling irony in the endless chants for Donald Trump to release the so-called “Epstein names.” For many in his base, these demands feel like the final frontier of truth and justice. But this obsession isn’t born merely from a desire to protect the vulnerable or expose elite wrongdoing. Instead, it’s the byproduct of a deeper, more painful economic story — one that tells us far more about modern America than any flight log ever could.
When Jeffrey Epstein, charged with child sex–trafficking, was found dead in his Manhattan jail cell in August 2019, under bizarre circumstances — broken cameras, inattentive guards

I don’t believe there is such a thing as a casual connection to Epstein. Prove to me otherwise!

OP, much thanks for posting.
FTA - "It’s time to end the keyboard warfare, reject the grifters profiting from paranoia, and focus on building an America strong enough never again to breed monsters like Epstein — or the parasitic, toxic social media celebrity that thrives on his ghost."
This pulls it together, IMHO.

Where were these people during Biden's term? This is just something else democrats are throwing against the wall, against Trump, and hope it sticks. I don't care at all about this story. Don't care about Epstein's island or who did or did not go there. Trump is likely doing the best thing possible by ignoring the whole thing.

Well, James Carville also said that it is a distraction so I guess it is nothing to worry about.

All I know is that if Trump and/or any Republican leaders were on any such list, Biden's minions would have "leaked" it.

Re #1 were you aware that Epstein was a major figure in the New York financial world. He mixed in NY society. He was socially with many in those days and was often photographed with people like Donald Trump and others who were in that same society.

I wish he was right, but the issue seems to have traction. Our history tells us it doesn't take a majority to prevail. What has worked from the beginning is a ticked off, tireless minority that sets brushfires of freedom in the minds of enough. (Somebody said that) Saying the influencers are crazy does not address the issues and thus not likely to do anything more than throw gas on the fire. Lori Ingraham was recently at a Turning Point USA Action Summit of, I heard one number 7,000, and when called for a showing of who was fine with it, it was met with silence no one was happy with it. The issue is we were lied to. And shown there are people who are special people that are above the law. We were promised that would not happen. In substance there is a demand for justice. I imagine people will move on but they are not going to let go of it. Bannon said that unless this gets corrected it could cost a 10% drop in support, and that's enough to do real damage in the midterms. I am hope that president Trump will fix it.

This is an excellent article. It pretty well describes what is happening
Instead of honest reporting or sober analysis, audiences received doom loops of speculation and sensationalism. Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, TikTok, and later Rumble incentivized viral content through algorithms that favored emotional extremes. With every post, the legend of Epstein’s “client list” grew into a mythical catch-all explanation for every societal woe. The Epstein story sucked up invaluable oxygen that other stories deserved — stories about real people whom right-wingers could’ve — and should’ve — stood for.
The Dems are watching sites like this one. They have trolled here for the 25 years that I've been here. They would say they had voted for Trump to give themselves the cloak of (faux) authenticity. Even now it is easy to figure out who isn't the real deal.
When someone we trust doesn't do what we want them to do, there is often a very good reason that they are not able to share.
I am getting out my old "Don't Let The Turkeys Get You Down" coffee cup in honor of President Trump.

List everyone who ever went to that island and let them sort it out.

I may be the onky one who feels like this fascination with Jeffrey Epstein is just salacious. I think Harvey Weinstein has a higher body count than JE but he's alve and facing the music so he's not as interesting. Seeing as how our country is currently dealing with insurrections, uh I mean peaceful protests, in every blue state, we can wait a little longer for the Epstein list and let Bondi & DOJ prosecute those Craigslist antifa-goons-for-hire. I know its a drag having to wait, but Jeffrey already left us hanging.

I don't know if there is an actual "client list" or if that's not the correct term.
There definitely is something about him that enabled him to not be prosecuted in the Florida case many years earlier.
He traveled in high stakes finance and political worlds but no one seems to know how he made his money or much about his background.
Most likely didn't know the "other side" of his lifestyle choices but some did, presumably those that went to his private island. Of course that too could be a small group who went to "special" rooms.
After all, how many knew about those "Diddy" parties until recently. Those who went were also very quiet about it.
So, let's not assume people who simply knew him, took a photo at some charity or fundraiser, had his same interests, shall we say.
Now, I do think more will come out and this whole thing is building it to where the media won't simply be able to ignore it like they have with so many other "bombshells" that have come to light recently.

Epstein's teenaged girls... How many, now mature women with lives, professions, husbands, families are clamoring for "justice"? How many of them have been polled to see if they want this opened up to the world? Except for avery few, most have enjoyed anonymity. Maybe someone in the administration finally took a deep breath and considered them. Are you really going to keep thrashing around about this?

Re #10, I agree. Some get their jollies reading about sex, fantasizing about it. ruminating about.it. Speculating about things they do not know, for which they have no support. Now it is in the name of justice. I don't believe it.

Remember back during the Biden era when the media reported that Trump kicked Epstein out of Mar Lar Go after he determined that Epstein was messing with underage teenage girls?
