Salem Radio host Charlie Kirk peeled back the layers of the ongoing controversy surrounding the Epstein files. President Trump went nuclear on those pressing what he calls the Epstein hoax. Kirk expounded extensively on what he thinks is the rationale behind Trump’s moves on this matter. It’s worth a listen. In short, Trump doesn’t want a repeat of 2017, when he had to essentially quarantine his attorney general, which led to the Mueller probe and the derailing of his first administration. Kirk argues that’s not what the base wants;

From the article: Kirk argues that’s not what the base wants; no one wants to implode the movement, though Democrats are now trying their best to use this Epstein case as a wedge."
"There is so much emotion with this issue and I applaud Donald Trump trying to take a step back. I do agree that someone is out there trying to insert a wedge. Sadly, some MAGA supporters are falling for it by associating their support or now lack of support for Donald Trump. He did not cause this situation but, once again, it is another situation that gets dumped on him. . .

The left wasn’t interested in using this as a “wedge issue” until President Trump decided to go back on his campaign commitment to publish the whole file. So don’t try gaslighting us, OK?
Sunlight is always the best disinfectant, ain’t that right?

Ignore what they say. Look at what they do. Despite getting elected on releasing the Epstein files, they have decided there is nothing to release. What was on all those computers they confiscated from Epstein's properties? Pac Man? Does this mean Maxwell will be released since she obviously supplied no underage kids for sex to nobody at all? Will she survive 10 minutes after release?
This reeks more and more every day, and once again a lot of people are above the law. I truly hope we dont start any more wars to force "democracy" on people. We dont even have the moral authority to govern ourselves.

I think Trump knows the "Epstein Files" have been subject to the manipulation and Deep State fakery that they are no longer trustworthy. See: Everything Obama and Biden did over 12 years with supposedly "un-political" 3-letter agencies to fake things to take down Trump.

Nobody's perfect. It was inevitable that PDJT would make his first howling mistake. This isn't about Epstein or Maxwell's guilt or innocence. And nobody reasonably expects them to air video of horrific crimes, or even publish a list which could very well be altered, incomplete or totally invented. What does bother me is the outright duplicity of the current posture. They are the ones who threw out the bait...and then made the switch. And criticizing us for noticing is disappointing and foolish. Certainly I realize that there are far more important issues at hand, and the Left is gleefully using this to tar our President. But the overarching concern here is: how much can we trust our Government? Wearing my asbestos leisure suit.

There may be nothing actionable left in the Epstein files, and there may be enough people with no connection to pedophilia who would show as "connected" to Epstein to generate bad stuff if the files which remain were released. However, Trump made a mistake in attacking those who support him but are angry that the DOJ claims there is nothing there. By doing so, Trump blew on the embers that would have soon died down.

So many now a days, grab a topic and charge with the lemmings over the cliff. However, the question must be answered, how did a high profile criminal on suicide watch in a federal detention center commit suicide? I agree it smells terribly that the dems didn’t expose this situation, but that also points to why it has to be fully vetted to regain the trust of the people. Oh whoopsie this isn’t Al Capone vault excuse will not fly.

May I suggest those interested go over to YouTube and check out The Epstein Elite series created by CrazyDaysandNights. So far, there are 9 episodes. So much information you have not seen in mainstream media and which has not been provided by our government. Connecting the dots...

If Pam Bondi had only kept her mouth shut and not overpromise/hype the release of the Epstein file. I just cannot believe that for an experienced attorney to make such rookie mistake is just unbelievable. But here we are.

Remember when Pam Bondi handed out "files" to the big names on X and they all stood on the Justice Dept steps holding them? The "files" turned out to be a bunch of old stuff we had already seen before. And that was swept under the rug and never brought up again.

I also am disappointed and incredulous that the administration says there is nothing to see here. I think President Trump should address it publicly. That won’t end the anger and certainly won’t dissuade the Democrats from trying to make hay.
Trump needs support for his, and our, agenda. Time to move on. The Epstein saga is of far less importance than Trump saving our country.

We really "care" about the epstein case. Do we know why? There have been endless headlines we have all read and have been hyped up into "caring." Why do dims "care" about the deported guy who had the margarita with the senator in El Salvador? Because there has been story after story slanting their thinking to make them "care."
My question to myself is "What do I really >know< about the Epstein case that would make me really >care< about the epstein case?"
Trump says there is no there there. Based on his call to do so, I am willing to call full stop to the miasma of thoughts and caring about the epstein case swirling in my brain and ask the fundamental question "What do I actually know and why does that make me care?"
I have thought for years that the epstein "client list" would bring down the deep state, expose billy goat clitton etc. Even Hillary rode on the "Lolita express"!!!! Sure epstein had spook connections, sure he was a perv, sure I don't know how he got rich (there's a two volume book about him that might explain if I "cared" to read them). But what is the actual relevance of all that to what's happening in the United States today such that I would "care" enough to want Bondi to resign?
So, I am suspending my "caring" about all things epstein until I can re-evaluate what I know and then re-evaluate what I "care" about it. And if I don't "care" enough to do a reevaluation, then I'm going to acknowledge that I don't "care". I am not going to continue hyperventilating based on 7+ years of scanned headlines of unknown reliability. That much I owe Trump. And myself, since I don't want to be a windup toy of the media.

Trump's approval ratings are one point away from the worst they have ever been. He does not realize what is in store. The America Party was born dead. But he will be breathing life into it.
Whoever the candidate is, he or she will get the support of Democrats who are fed up with the party. And now he will also get large numbers of Republicans who are fed up with the gaslighting.
Musk is an engineering genius, but politically he is clueless. If he is the candidate, bad things will happen to this country.
Trump needs to fire Bondi and instead of someone Republicans trust. But there are no indications at all that he might do this.

NO ONE is saying we should forget those who were victimized by Jeffrey Epstein, the New York financier and convicted child predator. But some contacts had nothing to do with the creepiness of this man, and the Justice Department cannot accuse anyone without evidence. Any name on a document with Epstein is smeared as being part of those pedophilic activities—that’s a defamation lawsuit against the DOJ waiting to happen.
Innocent girls will be exposed. They are now wives, mothers, professional women. And others who might have been in his "files" (if they indeed exist) who never had anything to do with his sexual activities. IMO, this opens a Pandora's Box that would bring more collateral damage than so-called "justice". If there was a "list" Bifden had it and would have (1) expunged any Dem names and (2) publicized a y Repunlicans. If MAGA really cares about making America great again, yammering about this is not the way to go.

President Trump could not possibly have known the full contents of that file when he authorized its release. It was probably not his best idea and it may have been reconsidered. Perhaps someone here wants to throw him iunder the bus. Then we can move on here? I won't because my country is not about Epstein and PDJT is the best president in my long lifetime.

#12~ “I am not going to continue hyperventilating based on 7+ years of scanned headlines of unknown reliability. That much I owe Trump. And myself, since I don't want to be a windup toy of the media.” / Bravo! Left-wing mainstream media personalities and politicians are masters of emotional manipulation to the point of suppressing intellectual reasoning. It is time to end the hysteria, focus on reality, and know that, in time, truth and justice will prevail in this world or eternity.

It seems too many people today are so self-absorbed they do not realize their inability to consider how or what their personal convictions/demands may impose on innocent people. There is no perfection in life and it is time for emotionally-driven, bloodthirsty, armchair theorists to get a grip and face reality: “Let him who is without sin among you be the first to throw a stone ...” (John 8:7-11) Considering the vast expanse of issues confronting President Trump and his administration, in addition to having to deal with the ramifications of the previous administration, mistakes will be made. To err is human, to forgive is divine. In due course, justice always prevails.

Poster #13, FYI, Musk isn't a natural born American citizen, he was born in South Africa, he can't be President.
Two posters at the story made some good suggestions. One, appoint a Special prosecutor and two, Trump can wait until the night before he leaves office and then release all the names. Let it all fall out and the 'rats can't go after him then.

#12 & 14 - Thank you both for bringing reality to this situation. At first, I was outraged when Trump decided to not release the "Epstein List", then slowly realized I was buying into the media's manipulation. We voted for Trump to "drain the swamp". Whenever you drain a swamp, you're exposed to lots of smelly gases and rotten vegetation. We better get used to putting on a gasmask, because the D.C. swamp is not the place for sissies. We elected President Trump to do this, and he warned us it wouldn't be pretty or easy.
MAGA-up, people. Trust Trump.

At a time when our MSM is the propaganda arm of the DNC, I have a pretty good idea of how any "revelations" regarding Epstein would be handled. The same MSM that spent years claiming Trump and his supporters are racist, bigoted Nazis would jump at the chance to get their hands on Epstein's contacts. Why? Because today's corrupt MSM thrives on creating false narratives that go only in one direction. The MSM WANTS to prioritize the list. What does it NOT want to talk about? January 6.
Somebody planned it, organized it, recruited participants, arranged transportation, meals and lodging, and bought climbing equipment and communications devices. We have people still in jail, and we had deaths that were blamed on "rioters." We can still hold people accountable for encouraging criminal acts leading up to, during and after January 6. No reason the Epstein list can't be released at some point. I'm willing to wait.

Yesterday the President suggested that a potential special prosecutor re the Trump-Russia hoax could also take a look at whether there are any legitimate remaining issues with the Epstein case. That seems reasonable.

Epstein was no hoax. It was real. It's existence was not as important to Americans as the attempts to cover it up.

here's another reality:
epstein ranch epstein nyc and every other outpost of misery for the innocent -and all the pigs visiting those troughs, can ' mail-order' and hide children for h'weird and points east.
his 'enterprises' have ruined these areas with massive unfettered organised crime, loss of jobs and economy,
health and safety, and wholesale destruction they cannot restore.
those who monitor the borders can see chunks of american land claimed and controlled by mexican gangs;
the gangs have their paid - off politicos running states, taking up federal and state seats w/ truckloads of
cash and ballots pouring over the borders in the dead of night, to nullify our votes, from coast to coast.
we voted to elect pdt and keep him safe in overwhelming circumstances. we're holding to that.
epstein's hidden empire blinds and endangers our efforts .

#20,#21~ According to one of Jeffrey Epstein’s attorneys, Alan Dershowitz, there “never has been” a client list created by Jeffrey Epstein nor was there a black book or anything “of any people who may have had improper sex with any of the young women.”
According to Professor Dershowitz, the FBI interviewed people and court judges redacted names of some of the people from the FBI files and other material presented to the court; further, “...the media could go to these judges now and, under the First Amendment, seek to have the names released, so that there fairly can be an assessment. ... the two federal judges in New York who presided over the cases, not Bondi, are the ones who would be responsible for releasing unredacted files in the matter. ... He added that ‘there are people out there who have gotten lots and lots of money from making accusations.’ ... None of the people in the files are current pubic officials or elected officials or current prominent people ... some are dead, some are retired, but there are no smoking guns. ... We don’t know whether any of these allegations are true ‘because information has been suppressed about the accusers.’ ...all information released should include not only the accused, but their accusers, so that we in the court of public opinion can make our own assessment about whether or not these accusations are credible, some are not. Obviously, we know that from experience. ... the accused people also have the right to have information released that would show that the accusations are questionable or false. In some instances, they may be true. He also doubled down on rejecting claims that Epstein was in Israel’s Mossad. ...I’ve confirmed it with Israeli intelligence... I can tell you with 100% assurance that [conservative commentator] Tucker Carlson is dead wrong.”

I don't remember the exact amount Rob Schmitt of Newsmax was saying the Senate was fighting tooth and nail to keep in the Bill but it was cents on the dollar. I think it was 6 cents. I'm just surprised that this bill passed. I'm 80 years old and the first time I have seen a government give away stopped.
