The influencer 4xtra, who co-hosts the No Jumper podcast, asked his fanbase who wants to get blown up in a video that went viral on social media. He was seen carrying some unlit fireworks in the clip. "Who wants to get blown up today," he said in the video. "I’m going to blow your a– up! I’m blowing somebody up today.” 4Xtra was left injured following the fireworks accident, his sister Emily said in a GoFundMe page that has since been created. On Sunday, Yemenis, commonly referred to as Houthis, attacked a ship called the Magic Seas, a Greek-owned vessel, in the Red Sea. The pirates attacked and captured the Magic Seas:
It is thought the Yemen-based terror group initially attacked using a swarm of boats, small arms and rocket-propelled grenades. They then used kamikaze drones.
Having seized control of the bulk carrier, the gunmen simultaneously detonated multiple charges around the ship’s hull, causing it to sink. The crew abandoned ship after being accosted by the pirates and, I believe, were rescued.

Progressives love unions.
Not only do unions protect workers, they say, unions gave us the weekend and the middle class.
I say, capitalism created the middle class. Employers, competing for better workers, gave us the weekend.
But whatever you think about capitalism, few people question the claim that unions help workers.

A couple years ago, the Teamsters demanded more pay from UPS. Seemed like UPS could easily afford it. The company made almost $13 billion in 2021.
UPS used some of that money to hire more union workers. Then they offered them raises.

Over this July 4th holiday weekend, the controversy over the Minnesota state flag has re-emerged. From the Minneapolis Star Tribune,

“Greater Minnesota” is how we refer to the rural parts of the state, which represent the vast majority of the state by area. Here is the old state flag, which flew in more or less this form from 1893 to 2024. Apparently, the problem was, buried deep in the emblem, is the depiction of a Native American riding a horse. That, and the state’s motto (The Star of the North) is rendered in the original French.
The Black Lives Matter hashtag and slogan was developed in 2013 in reaction to the (lawful self-defense) shooting of Trayvon Martin by George Zimmerman. The following year, 2014, the organization was formalized by self-avowed “trained Marxists” after the (lawful) police shooting of Michael Brown in Ferguson, Mo.
Those two shootings falsely were portrayed as racially motivated, while the facts (which we covered in exhaustive detail at the time) proved otherwise. Nonetheless the narrative was set and hating America and being American was necessary to be accepted into Democrat spaces. Even Bernie was not spared the wrath of BLM activists.

It is impossible to know what went through his head when Mamdani lied on his Columbia University admission form, but the most obvious reason for doing so would have been to give himself an advantage over other applicants. Longtime "60 Minutes" correspondent Steve Kroft and "Daily Show" host Jon Stewart bashed Paramount Global and CBS’ eight-figure settlement with President Donald Trump as giving into a "shakedown" on Monday.
Kroft appeared on Paramount-owned Comedy Central to discuss the settlement with Stewart, who didn’t pull punches when discussing his own employer. But while a large share of Americans believe the ceasefire won’t hold, the majority are taking a wait-and-see approach, the latest I&I/TIPP Poll indicates.
The online national I&I/TIPP Poll of 1,421 adults was taken from June 25-27, mere days after the June 22 U.S. military attack to cripple Iran’s nuclear facilities.
I&I/TIPP asked respondents the following question: “Do you believe the recent ceasefire between Israel and Iran will lead to lasting peace in the region?”
Top House Democratic leaders condemned GOP Rep. Randy Fine and demanded that he apologize after the Florida lawmaker suggested in a post on X that Democratic Rep. Ilhan Omar of Minnesota is a terrorist.

Florida cannot enforce a new law that would bar illegal immigrants from entering the Sunshine State, the Supreme Court ruled on Wednesday.
“The application for stay presented to Justice Thomas and by him referred to the Court is denied,” read the order rejecting Florida’s emergency appeal to the high court.
No justices dissented, and the court did not provide a written opinion explaining the order. US District Judge Kathleen Williams, an appointee of former President Barack Obama, blocked Florida from enforcing the new law in April.
